Melli having ADHD and Ingo somehow knowing a few techniques to help him concentrate and at first, he scoffs at the advice but in private, he tries some of it and it– it helps.

you know, we don't talk about how humanity evolved throughout the centuries with pokemon enough.

one thing i can definitely see humans developing would be type resistance to ALL types, it's not enough to make them immune to attacks, but it's enough for them to survive at the very least.

and soon enough, after constant exposure, they'll develop those immunities!

like, i want to explore the culture shock of people in Hisui seeing Akari/Rei (whoever you choose) and Ingo able to tank being electrocuted and poisoned much better than they do and just–

once word comes out they're most likely from the distant future?

it's just so interesting to think about, because no doubt Elesa and Emmet are similar, handling pokemon is honestly very dangerous and electricity more so, the past hasn't truly developed their resistance but we can see the beginning of it, even if it's something as simple as being shirtless in the frigid winter.

considering how in real life there are actual human beings like that it's possible in the Pokemon Universe, that was just amped up to the extreme.

but going back to Hisui, if they were just informed, "well, in the future Pokemon are beside us pretty much our whole lives so-"

and they just think the future is wild or insane.

which isn't far off to be honest

Inspired by these two videos in which it's shown a person being able to record in Ancient Hisui.

I've seen a few AUs where the Arcphone is still able to access the internet and Akari using her account to post pics and confuse everyone in the modern day but—

Have you ever considered...

LiveStreams?

Imagine the Pokemon equivalent for Twitch – Magikarp? Waterfalls? idk Stream Puns etc – where a new account pops up playing a Live Stream, it's in the "Wildlife" and "Research" category which of course, sparks some interest.

Except, the few that join in thinks it's a mistake, because those aren't the Pokemon they know, or at least, they're not aware of any place looking like that.

Reports come asking if it's fact or false, Moderators have a look, a few being Researchers and Scientists themselves and deciding the Live Stream should be moved to "Fantasy" or something similar like "Animation", they only have visuals after all to go off of, there's no sound coming from the Stream.

It doesn't work.

Something's wrong with the Servers or the Website but no matter what they do, they can't change the category.

Word spreads of the Live Stream, one showing an unknown area filled with both familiar and unfamiliar Pokemon.

It's only when one user asks a question that sends the chat flooding.

And just as the chat starts to pick up, the Live Stream glitches and suddenly there's Noise.

So much of it, each heavy thud of a Garchomp's stomp rumbling through, the distant roar of a Luxray bellowing out, the rustling of leaves, everything sounds so real.

A voice is heard, quiet but clear and close.

"Ah, shoot." The screen is flipped, no longer showing the scenery but a face—

holup: IS THAT THE SINNOH CHAMPION DAWN???

She doesn't answer, it doesn't look like she sees chat, squinting at the screen.

"I knew something was off, I have to restart again." The Missing Champion Dawn continues on with a grumble before smiling down at the camera.

"Anyways, this is Log #1, Professor told me it would be a good idea to start recording my expeditions just in case I miss anything while I'm writing down on the Pokedex!"

"Ah, right, almost forgot– ahem, one more time, Professor if you see this, sorry I don't know how to cut this yet– Anyways! This is Log #1, Akari from the Galaxy Team Survey Corps reporting for duty!"
