how i love small fandoms.

i love seeing the same names pop up all the time in my comments. no matter what, they show up. and honestly? they’re a big reason i’ve managed to stay motivated. their genuine care for my stories has made my day so many times, and I am so grateful.

i was talking about how life has been a bit crap recently in the notes of my chapter (to let people know i wouldn’t be able to post much in the next few weeks) and THOSE SAME PEOPLE that always comment on my stuff have once again showed up and shown me incredible support. i teared up reading my comments in the morning. it was the best feeling ever.

like yeah sure, maybe writing for a small fandom means not as many people read my stuff. i don’t get as many hits/kudos, but it doesn’t matter. the support is there.

and similarly, whenever someone else posts, they can count on me to show their work love. i don’t care if it’s 300 words or 20k words. i don’t care if it’s your first fic or your twentieth. I WILL READ THE CRAP OUT OF IT.

anyway, it’s just so wholesome, the vibes are unmatched and i am so lucky to be part of such an amazing community.
