Dude, I'm an anarchist from the early 2000's, of course I oppose war. I lived through the invasion of Iraq and everything that came afterwards.

A friend recently told me that the kidney story came up in a new interview with the band and when I tried looking it up this post came up.
1. It wasn't my kidney, I found it in a trashcan like a week prior
2. I didn't sell it. I put it in a ziploc and wrote "A Body" on it. I was living out of a backpack at the time so it was pretty rank by the time this show happened
3. I originally offered it to The Body and they didn't want it
4. Full of Hell was super into it and gave me a shirt for it.
5. I was part of a crew of 7 traveling kids all headed to Baltimore for MDF. We took turns wearing the shirt but it eventually ended up in my sole possession. I still own it, it's falling apart. I removed the sleeves.
Full Of Hell, The Body at The End. Nashville, TN.
Wow.
I think it’s safe to say that I’ve never been to a metal show before. That isn’t to say I don’t like metal. I enjoy Full Of Hell and The Body, as well as other acts like Indian or bands that are more powerviolence, like Nails, Homewrecker or Magrudergrind. I love the intensity, the unmitigated ferocity it induces. I also love how it’s all a little bit scary.
Both of these bands have released albums this year, and after hearing them I was anticipating this show. By the time it was all said and done though, I was a little underwhelmed. As impressive and proficient, and even exciting as some of Full Of Hell’s music is, they only spent about half of their set playing songs. Their set went in the order of a one minute song followed by a minute of noise, then another song, and so on. In between, and endless screech of noises came from a synth board they had on stage. I didn’t mind it (I actually love music that incorporates or is just noise), but it isn’t as if it was songs, it was just filler. It jut felt lazy. The performance half of the set, the 8 or so songs they played, were actually very good. They opened with “Burst Synapse”, and there’s a video of that above.
The same can pretty much be said about The Body’s set, all though I enjoyed the intervals in their songs more. Also, since their songs are much longer and feel more like a jam than anything (anywhere from 4 to 15 minutes long), it was more bearable. It didn’t feel so stop and go, and their particular brand of noise serves more of a purpose to their music.
Neither of the bands brought anything particularly special to the table. I didn’t expect to hear any sort of prolific, refined live audio or anything, but with a performance as bland as these bands’ they could stand to hone their sound, even just a little bit.
I could sit in my room and listen to their music through headphones and have a better time than I did at this show. Also, some guy sold his kidney there, and that’s some next level shit I can’t even handle.

Mhm, yeah, whatever you say Kropotkin. I'm sure this will lead to emancipation of the people and not just mass death and suffering.

Cheering on war between states is an anarchy 101 no no. States don't represent people, war only ever benefits the state.
It's not selt defense, it's self preservation. Self defense is non-state affiliated people defending themselves. It's guerilla forces & international volunteers.
You're cheering on an oppressive regime attacking another oppressive regime. You're a campist.

A book for you.
i see so much talk about the cartels but none of it is about how they were caused directly or indirectly by the United States funding anti-communist death squads and that seems a little silly.

Hippie friend is not vibing with this punk house experience. He caught somebody breaking into his car earlier and is now sleeping in it. I told him beforehand that it wasn't safe to park on this street and his ass did not listen.

do you believe that 100 million dead USSR thing ?
Simply looking at population as a number leads nowhere. The USSR killed lots of people. The exact number shouldn't matter, the fact that they killed any at all (besides the white armies) should matter.

Do you like anything Ed Abbey wrote?
Yeah. He was, you know, a piece of shit racist and misogynist, but I enjoy some of his stuff. My favorite book is Good News.
