Tw: Pet loss

A week ago, we had to say goodbye to our sweet little bunny Trix. I say “sweet” because she often was—but on her own terms. We often came back from the vet’s appointments that she was “spirited” and “a little spitfire”. She was my first roommate when I lived alone for the first time, and when my long-distance boyfriend moved in several years ago, we became a little family.

When testing out cosplays, building things, or trying to get my helmet right for Thor for the fourth time, Trix was often hopping around, burrowing in my fabric or clothes, and nudging me to abandon my projects and pay attention to her instead, which I often obliged. I often included her in any photos I could, often selfies during cosplay or makeup tests, which she obliged much less fondly, but was always compensated well with treats and pets.

I miss her so much, but I’m grateful for all the love and laughter she brought to every aspect of my life. 💛

i saw your leta from palia cosplay and i wanted to say it looks great!! what a fun interpretation of what she might have looked like. :D the goggles made me think that maybe the ones najuma has are her mom's

Thank you so much!! 💛 I have the same headcanon about Najuma’s goggles because they seem a little too big for her! I’m glad others have the same thought! I’d love to upgrade with some more game-accurate goggles in the future!

I tried testing out my Leta Pavel cosplay today! There’s no official art of Leta (yet! I’m hopeful we’ll get it someday lol) so I took inspiration from Hodari’s description and Najuma’s design (bottom right photo) since she’s supposed to look just like her mom! Hoping we get more lore about this demolition expert soon! 🎇

Yor Forger cosplay test! Hoping to wear this to AB.

I’ve tweaked a few things for the design for my own comfort—no earrings because my ears aren’t pierced and clip ons tend to hurt my ears after a few hours, and a lookalike sweater instead of Yor’s because I’m not a fan of the back’s design. Just a reminder that you can make your cosplays work for you! If you want to add your own flair or change things about your cosplay—whether it’s for comfort, modesty, or simply to adapt to the unpredictable weather [like New England]—do it! Cosplay is all about having fun. 💛
