What Lies Beyond The Broken Love.

I don't want to feel like we have to lie to each other. I don't want to feel like this anymore. I love you like I've never loved anything before. It hurts too much to see you move on. It hurts to see you gone, to see you no longer between my fingertips. You left the pieces you broke behind with the rest of me and I still love you. I’ve forgotten his laugh, how it used to make the butterflies fly against my rib cage. 

His voice, drowsy over 3 am calls, and husky in the mornings. 

The way his lips felt against mine, when he was the only thing I tasted when we were tangled up in each other.

His half smile, that I used to find adorable, the one I would kiss.

And that smirk..the one I knew trouble would follow afterwards.

But I won’t forget the hurt he caused me.

 Never will I ever forget the crashing of my heart to the bottom of my stomach.
