“Well, when in doubt; scream.” he said, nodding to Lydia’s powerful banshee scream. “As for the Nogitsune; it’s inside Bridget. If we can get it to turn on it’s friends, and then lure it out of her. Ethan can kill it.” he said after a moment.

“Yeah, Derek told me and I do; agree with his reasoning. Kate’s dangerous, and she’s taken enough of your family....” he said, looking at Theo. “But I doubt I need to say they’re trying to protect you.”

“Well, we’ve got the numbers. We just need to out play the villains.” he said, looking at Lydia. “Which, will be hard but I’m sure we can do it. I think the Nogitsune might be a weak point.”

“Thanks for that.” He said flatly, turning to look at Theo, rolling his eyes though there was no hostility behind it. “Are you kidding? Of course I’m talking about that.” He pointed out. 

He frowned, not wanting to hear about how Peter wasn’t at fault for everything that had fallen apart between them. “I don’t want to talk to him. There’s a lot more than just what happened with Liam. And of course I’m pissed off about having to move. I bought a house with multiple bedrooms and now I spend almost all of my time alone. Liam sleeps over once, maybe twice a week, if I’m lucky. And you don’t know if he would have agreed or not.” He sulked, still angry about the whole thing. He had been so excited about the teen moving in but then Liam wanted a step back and he wanted to move in with the deputy and Colin was just angry about the whole thing.

Theo looked at him. “Liam needs a parent; if it makes you feel better; he shot me down for moving in with him before too.” he said as the car stopped once they arrived. He got out of the car and looked around; shaking his head. Of all things, it was not good to be back. Theo stretched slightly and looked at Colin. “This way” he said as he led Colin into the woods; a bunker hidden not too far out as Theo headed inside after taking a small breath.

“You and me both; this is gonna end; one way or the other.” he said after a moment. “I’m fairly confident we can beat them; I mean, you all did before. Now there’s more of you.”

“Yeah, you got that right,” Derek replied, agreeing with both of his statements. He realized that they were still in the middle of the woods having a sensitive conversation. He stood. “Well, instead of talking, let’s go do something about it,” he said, walking over and offering Theo a hand up.

“Oh? You got an idea Derek?” he asked, taking his hand and pulling himself up and offering a small smile. “I’m all ears.” he grinned as he started to move with the older male. He looked at Derek. “What’s on your mind?”

Yeah, the easier it is to take her down the better in my opinion. We just need to take things one day at a time. If we try to get too far ahead of ourselves than we will start to make mistakes. Tricking it won’t be easy but it’s going to be the best bet.

“Agreed, so any ideas on how to trick a fox?” he asked, tilting his head a bit as he looked at Camden. “I mean, I’m good at tricking people but this think has remained in hiding way longer than I have before so...not feeling too confident.”

“Yep, absolutely.” She said stubbornly, before caving to smile at him as though he was the reason the sun shone. She sighed, enjoying the calm and the movie, even if it wasn’t exactly scary. After everything she had seen and everything she had been through, the last thing that she was going to be scared of was a simple slasher flick. She could only imagine that Theo felt the same way. “it’s alright,” She said, looking up at him. “Nothing I haven’t seen before. Are you not enjoying it?” She asked him, looking over at her boyfriend. 

“Un huh” he smiled softly as he watched the move before nodding. “I’m enjoying it; it’s nice to see monsters that aren’t going to attack me every once in a while.” he added as he looked at Kat, kissing her forehead. “We can change it to something else if it’s just alright; I don’t wanna make you sit through my punishment movie like it’s a punishment for you too.” he said, rubbing her shoulder softly.

Kate is extremely focused on taking us down, and might be a little bit cocky. I think she might be one of the harder ones to take down. The best way to deal with the nogitsune is to separate it from the others.

“Lets hope she’s cocky.” he said after a moment. “But, I’ve got faith that cocky or not the Hales will finish her off.” he said before nodding. “It likely wants to be freed from whatever spell that they’ve got on it so maybe if we trick it, with something....I don’t know what.” he sighed.

Derek smiled at the thought of Kate’s pride being her own demise. Theo was right, though. It was wishful thinking. “Yeah, the chances of that happening are lower than the chances of Kate actually staying dead when Peter and I kill her,” Derek quipped with a sigh. If it were anywhere other than Beacon Hills, than the likelihood of Kate staying dead would be much higher.

“Hey hey, don’t joke about that. Peter’s got enough of a hard time actually killing people as it is.” he said, nodding slightly. “I mean....honestly the ratio isn’t that great so please make sure he actually finishes the job.” he said with a half smile, looking at Derek. “I’d really hate for her to pop up a fourth time. Especially considering how much bigger of a pain in the ass she gets with each time.”

Exactly, leave it with nowhere to go and it will be weak. The only reason why any of them have any real power is because they are working together. The sooner we start getting rid of them, the easier things are going to be.

“Yeah, which we’re going to take away that power by separating them and getting rid of them for good. You hear anything about them that we could use; even if it’s something small any little bit helps.”

Colin nodded, satisfied with the answer. “Alright.”he sighed, wishing that he had the right words to say in that moment. “That makes two of us.” He admitted. “I regret a lot about that evening. I blamed you for all of it for a long time, but the truth is that I’m just as much at fault as you were. I let you manipulate me because I hated Scott for something it turns out he was justified in doing.”  he said, looking back at the road for a moment until he heard Theo ask what the deal was with Jordan. Confusion settled over his face and he glanced at Theo again. 

“Because Jordan adopted Liam?” He pointed out, shocked that Liam’s brother wouldn’t know that. “You didn’t know? He lives with Jordan full time. I was trying to get him to move in with me and then fucking Peter screwed that all to hell and now he lives with Jordan.” He was still bitter about that, that he had moved out of his apartment and into a large house only to end up in a large space by himself, with only Frank as company more nights than not. “That went well.” He sighed, shaking his head. “I don’t know what exactly Jordan does or doesn’t know about Liam and I, but I’m not eager to question him and find out.” 

“Yeah, I sorta knew your hate at Scott was, dumb in so many words so....I honestly thought you knew after; what happened.” he said looking at him before pausing. “Yeah, no I know that. I’ve talked to Jordan about it. I thought you meant was there something else I needed to talk to him about. Honestly I’m really glad he did. I have, no idea about parenting stuff and Liam needs one, I can be his brother no problem but; parent; nope.” 

“Yeah, that was pretty; yeah.” he sighed about the situation with Peter; the whole thing about Scott on top of it didn’t help but Theo looked at him. “As pissed as you are, rightfully so; just talk with Peter and let it go. Liam’s not worried about it and I doubt you really want to be mad at Peter, besides Liam does stay with you and you having a house instead of an apartment is so much better. Apartments suck.” he said with a half smile, looking at Colin. “But Liam is also seventeen and he wouldn’t have moved in anyway as Jordan is now his adopted father and he needs that guidance Colin; we can’t always be there for him and Scott can’t always either.”

“Don’t sweat it, Theo. You don’t have to know everything. It would just be really convenient if you did,” he added with a small smile. The smile dissipated quickly, however. “Apparently, they may kill each other. Luka ran into Kate and she was apparently planning on turning against Boris. Sounds exactly like her.”

Theo laughed a bit. “H-hey, hey convenience is awesome.” he said before shrugging. “Hey, if they take each other out then neither of us need to get any more blood on our hands. Boris is formidable and Kate is as well; the two will either draw it out and weaken the other or they’ll both die and we can go home.” he said, looking at Derek. “Wishful thinking, I know. But, it still is a possibility.” he offered, nodding a little.

I do agree, since there isn’t a point on trying to focus too much on the nogitsune because we don’t know who it was. If we take the others down in the meantime we will have the upper hand.

“Good point, if we leave the Nogitsune for last then it’s got nowhere to go.” he nodded a bit, looking at him. “Alright, then it looks like each member of the league is relatively taken care of.” he said, nodding a bit.

Derek nodded. “That’s three people taken care of. Know anyone going after the other two?” Derek knew all about his former betas making risky decisions. “I just hope Scott stays on the right path.” Derek wanted to be a guide for Scott, but he didn’t want Scott to think revenge was a good thing. “Or just knock it off forever.”

“Not sure, I’ve not been able to keep track of everyone’s plans unfortunately.” he said, looking at Derek before laughing a bit. “Yeah, trust me I know; this town could use a break.” he admitted as he looked around, taking a small breath. “So, we at least know three of the Legion will be down; Boris and Frederic will be taken care of by whoever can get to them.”
