If you want a headcanon for them in college I have a few

Connie joins an MMA club, she actually has a need to move around and get her frustrations out and MMA is her new outlet since training with Pearl

Steven is studying to be a wedding planner, so he's getting a degree in event management and hospitality

Connie is a busy bee, getting a dual major in poli-sci and sociology with a minor in creative writing

Connie did live on campus for a while but eventually moved into Steven's apartment off-campus

When Connie lived in the dorms, Steven was always there; her roomate would wake up and just see a 6"2 behemoth of a man with a pink gem in his stomach making the bed. They stopped caring at one point

Everyone knows who Lion is and they love he's basically the campus pet

Some students believe Steven is a god/god-adjacent

Other students believe Steven is here for nefarious or malevolent reasons and keep trying to prove it. No one believes them

Re-reading the posts about the distant future au for some reason made me associate bluebell diamond with this number/song from Padmaavat and I can't really explain why? I just look at her and can see her dancing Ghoomar for some reason, it's very beautiful in my head

Connie's skirt was made to be in a similar shape to a lehenga skirt. The spots on her arms would vaguely resemble mehndi, which might also parallel to the jewelries?

^^^ My attempts at using some of the dance in the music video as reference. :P It lacks the grace though 🤔 so I'd recommend just imagine she's dancing a different dance to keep em from ruining your vision? 😅
