Hi! I am so happy, that you returned, even if for a moment. It is always a pleasure to have you here! I was wondering, what do you think about the latest development, mostly about bloopers. It was something that I didn't expect, tbh.

Thank you anon for sweet words, I really appreciate that ppl still want for me to be here and I cannot tell what happens in the future but I am going to come here from time to time with new art to share or if time and health gonna allow it and if this ridiculous drama of insane hatred will stop because I don’t have a stomach for such things anymore.  

And yes, I’ve enjoyed the bloopers and everything else I saw in the last few days (though not everything, I wait patiently for my dvd to arrived) so very much but what I mostly feel after seeing them is a relief. What I saw didn’t surprise me in any way bc my beliefs about G and D never changed. But now I have this naive hope that maybe some people here (and I am not talking about gorgans bc they are a hopeless case), who contributed to the latest fandom’s division and made this place absolutely unbearable, will come to their senses and those videos make them understand that whatever you see in social media, read in press, etc isn’t a real proof of what is happening in one’s life and sometimes it is good to think twice before you say or start something stupid and that only because something is your interpretation, doesn’t have to be a fact. 

So many people here have been making ridiculous theories about David hurting Gillian, her being cross with him, etc., even just a few days ago when the video with “Mr Duchovny” made its way to social media. I really wonder, what those people are thinking now because everything that we saw in the last couple of days; things that had happened not long before that Gillian-David interview took place, only confirms that absolutely nothing was amiss between them, there was a lot of love and happiness and they were extremely comfortable with each other’s company. And if you are Gillian’s fan, and dislike David, then at least stop spreading this childish and nonsensical hatred because at this very moment you are insulting Gillian, your idol. She loves that man. Respect that.

 Spread love, not hatred! <3 Life is too short to be bitter and hateful all the time!

why do you hate GA so much? what thave she done to you? i thought you were her fan

Do you know that you can be someone’s fan and sometimes disagree with the thing your idol is doing or saying? And that we all can have different opinions about different things? And I don’t hate Gillian, to be honest, I have been defending her so many times here I lost count. But, I dislike her last tweet (and some few other about xfiles). I am of an opinion it was unnecessary and I want to stay naive and think that wasn’t consciously done.

Nevertheless, knowing this fandom very well, she put the cat among the pigeons. If she needed to tweet it so much, she should do it better and asked for help her PR person. This required more deliberative words and she should be more conscious of her own press and not “correcting” the journalist because he based his comment on Fox’s and her own statements. But now people are calling other names, making fandom wars and insult others opinions and most people took her comment way too far. She should congratulate herself, she made a splendid job. Again!

I must be in such a minority but I don't believe TXF is done yet. In fact I will go so far as to say it will be back in a year or two with Gillian on board. Maybe not for every episode but definitely as a part of the process. I daren't say this publically for fear of being ripped to shreds by the free Gilly contingent so forgive my being anon.

You are not alone, anon. It feels like we are a minority because those who are cheering and hoping for an oficial cancellation are the loud ones. You can always come to me and I will make sure you are heard. I will happily take one for the team, anon.

I always said we are having a 3 part “event series”. @dontpointdownthere and I talked a lot about how this makes sense. Of course things can change now with FOX/Disney incorp.

FOX did not say the word CANCELLED yet so I am not rushing to any conclusions as “some” in this fandom. You will never see me happy or cheering for this show’s death.

i think that gillian was angry at journalist's words, bc she thinks that her decision wasn't a reason FOX doesn't want to do more xf, which is ridiculous IMO. gillian anderson isn't a f*cking queen!

Well, she should pay more attention to her own press, tbh. FOX didn’t cancel the show (though the bad rantings could be a good reason), they just don’t have plans doing it without Gillian, which, actually, they already said once in January. So technically, that was the main reason for FOX and I really don’t understand why she called out Michael Ausiello for his words. Did he say anything that wasn’t true?

She has been vocal about her being done over and over again and no, it wasn’t journalists’ fault because she has been vocal about in even on her own twitter. And people are not idiots. They can read, they can listen and they can make notes afterwards. And this is not only about her being done but that constant criticism, for example, calling out (not literally but still) Chris for the last episode or also calling him out for not employing women thought they’d already been included in the xfiles crew. Had she asked Chris of it before she called him out on twitter which only increased the hate toward him? Obviously not. But she can complain that he didn’t hear her voice while doing MS IV? So she doesn't have to respect people she works with but she wants the same from them?  I just don’t get it. What an actress is calling out and constantly bitching on a show that she is currently working on?

And so we all could see how she was done and hated xfiles and when FOX said they had no plans for season 12, it wasn’t very difficult to conclude that the main reason was Gillian. They did no promotion which, for reasons known only to them, was their choice. So they have to consider that ratings will go down; they haven’t been doing their business since yesterday. And so maybe that would not factor on their decision at all. Also, I am pretty sure they heard about the campaign “no xfiles without Scully“, so they just did as fans wanted... 

I strongly believe we are responsible for our own words and actions, and that also includes Gillian Anderson. And this is not the first time the things she is doing or saying come back and bite her in the ass. I wish she could finally understand that. I wish her PR could care more to notice it either. Can she really do what the fuck she wants and not suffer the consequences?

Actually, the whole season was really great, fuck the viewership! That is the tweet Gillian should write!

- no promo done together by the main leads AT ALL

- two main leads who trusted the showrunner even tho they both should have known better

- to much non XF Bullshit about the XF/lead actors in the News

I blame FOX, Chris Carter, Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, the casting, the other writers, the FOX PR for all of it. Chris Carter for being a stubborn showrunner who didn’t want to realize that he didn’t have his finger on the pulse of the time anymore and for not knowing shit about how the fandom ticks. Gillian and David for letting him do his BS even tho they both knew/know better. Their personal BS getting mixed up with the show. The FOX PR who should have known to at least make one appearance for promotional reason with the two of them. The Casting for doing a shit job (Karen excluded) The other writers for recycling ideas from black mirror and other shows…

All in all don’t blame the viewers for not being into it if y'all didn’t give it your best. Don’t blame the viewers for not watching something the actors themselves didn’t like either. Maybe just maybe admit that you both DD and GA should have done something about CC’s BS storyline when you had the chance. Now that it’s done, just leave it and shut up about it tbh because it’s not helping anyways and it certainly isn’t changing a thing. The one thing I’m bitter about is that the last kiss we got was 10!!!!years ago. We got cheated out of one of the best on screen relationships and just let that wound heal in peace!

Is anyone still believe that Gillian Anderson doesn’t use Twitter, as she ensures everyone in interviews?

Sometimes she makes such unprofessional tweets that you want to scream and asked, why her team have been trying so hard to shift her SM and her public image into more professional look when she screws up everything in one tweet (Actually there was a series of tweets about xfiles which shouldn't ever be posted...) 

77% of viewership exited, but what about those 23% left? Maybe some word of thank you? No?

And also, I never gonna be happy if they cancel it one day. Because The X-Files is my first love, it is my life, and always will be. And I am gonna watch it always, no matter what!

And It is also interesting how almost everyone was happy when FOX cancelled the show after season 9 but then years later everyone wanted it back! 

And until CC or DD are positive about it, I am gonna be positive too, because you never know what gonna happen in a few years. Never say never and Gillian is only a human and can change her mind one day too! ;)

Ok, but you guys do realize the M.O is exaclty the same as when s10 ended, riiiight?

Everything FOX is saying, we’ve heard it all before. Been there, done that.

When a network says it has “no plans”, instead of “it is cancelled”, it does not mean the show will never come back.

I've been wondering because I noticed that some blogs are using your paintings as backgrounds and avatars here, and that could be an awful thing to do to you if someone is stealing your art that way. If you give the ppl that permission, let's pretend I didn't write it :) but I thought you should know for a case if...

Anon, can you come back to me and tell me which blogs? Or anyone else noticed that someone is using my paintings? The only person who has gotten my permission is @skullsmuldon with Mr. Chuckleteeth as she came to me and asked. (which seriously shouldn't be that difficult for a mature person but respecting other’s work isn’t something some people in this fandom have in mind apparently… And this really sucks because I have no time and energy to chase those people around social media and there always be someone who decides to kick you in the ass for sharing your art with others. And this makes me feel horrible…
