The sheer amounts of white on the landscape, the chill that seemed to seep into her bones, and the unbroken calm set across this entire world all served to leave the Avenger discomfited. Her rage and anger had no place to be directed on this white and endless expanse, yet she could not give them up. The negativity was simply to fester inside of her. She was familiar with such actions, had been doing much the same at Chaldea when she wasn’t aiding in battle, but the feeling of inaction and weakness was worse when she felt as powerless as she was. She had a look of disgust in her gold-colored eyes as she looked at the girl who approached her. It was not an out of place look, or even directed at the girl at all, it was, if anything, her default expression. “Humph” she said as the girl spoke.
Tumblr media
“I don’t recognize you, but then, you seem...Forgettable.” There was no reason for her to speak so cruelly, but she didn’t need a reason, did she? She never needed a reason, which was, perhaps, the beauty of it.
@vonwettin
          WHY HAVE YOU ENDED UP crossing this border? these words flutter within her mind like birds taking to the sky with each step, as if it were remembered from a long forgotten dream. even now she can only wonder why they speak to her so, whispered softly from the recesses of her mind. a song of dusk, one meant to be filled with grudges—one which was. there is no mistaking how her senses ebb into darkness, tangled amidst an atmosphere of nothing but the want of revenge. i wonder, she thinks, why this feels so mysteriously familiar, too. what shards of dusk cling to is not one she was expecting, rather a younger female with pale blonde hair and shimmering eyes of gold. still, she cannot help but feel uncertain, that the negativity which dances around her so naturally might be one she has encountered before.
          it was possible, right? within this vast land where wishes come and go like flurrying snowflakes that pour from the sky. so she clears her throat, hoping to get the attention of the stranger before finally speaking at long last.
Tumblr media
          ❝ Ah, have we met before—? ❞ perhaps in some faraway shining era, where she could only hope she might one day meet come the destined hour. ❝ It’s just… before I arrived here, I thought what I felt now was the same. ❞

ordinarybrilliance‌:
It wouldn’t be a surprise to Zen to see … her after meeting other Servants… such as Solomon here. And he isn’t in the least shocked to see that she’s holding her sword as her greeting. He doesn’t even try to act scared but smiles at the sight of her. It’s kind of stupid of him to do such a thing in the first place but he can’t help but wave at her.
Even though she’s about to pierce her sword into him. It’s not the worse thing in the world than being here in some place he’s still not used to. It’s a little nice to see a rather… friendly face, or rather well, not too friendly.
Tumblr media
There are things he had to think about, like of why him? Sure he gets the whole thing of wishes, and everything… but he isn’t sure what. He places his hand behind his back, as his thoughts go back to the situation at hand. Jalter with a sword in hand and he isn’t even bothered by the fact at all. “My presence is something to expect? That’s something nice of you to say so, Avenger.” Man, he sounds so insane right now. “It’s almost the same as seeing you be here as well, I suppose. How do you fare?”
The Avenger sheathed her sword, seeing no point in using it. Oh, it would have been easy, she supposed, but it wouldn’t get her anywhere. It was just a sword, and seeing Zen here was better than nothing, at any rate. She knew how to work with him, if nothing else. “Of course it’s something to expect. You can’t help but get involved in...Anything...Sooner or later you’ll find yourself a part of even the most minor of occurrences.” Not that she was complaining, this time. The fact that he was asking her how she was doing was almost...Amusing. Any time he showed concern for her she wasn’t sure whether to be amused or disdainful towards him.
Tumblr media
“Humph” she replied at first, eyes flashing with more than a little rage and annoyance at this entire situation. “Worse now that you’re here” she groused in reply, before begrudgingly adding, “you could be worse company.”

Chilled Flames
@vausavi
It was an unfortunate fact that Jeanne looked rather like her unaltered self. Oh, her hair was a few shades lighter than that of the original, and the outfit which she wore much darker. Her eyes were a different shade as well. Despite those minor differences in coloration, however, she shared a visage with the Saint of Orleans. It could be considered useful, especially during her attempt to raze the country which had condemned her, but oftentimes seeing the saint reflected back at her served only to irritate the alter. Could anyone truly blame her? It was easy, when she could simply push that reminder to the back of her mind, and when she could simply pretend that there was no “original” Jeanne. When she could simply act as if it was her and only her and would always only be her.
Her mind, at this day and time, seemed determine to remind her of her origins. She was always bad at keeping her mind clear when she felt threatened or vulnerable, and this was a time in which she certainly felt as if she was lacking in strength. The faint reflections in the ice seemed to distort the colors, giving her eyes a slightly blueish tinge, the tinge of the other Jeanne. Yes, that was what she was. She was not the original, merely the other Jeanne. Despite this decision, she wanted nothing more than to crack at the ice and remove this moment from her memories. Damaged ice would not be nearly so accurate a mirror, after all. She pulled out her sword, ready to stop the taunts coming from the image.

Crystalline
@draconette
Taverns, Jeanne thought as she entered the building, were, in her experience, absolutely foul places, all dirty with dim lighting and far too many noisy individuals crowding the area. Not to mention the abhorrent stench of alcohol. The tavern in this place, however, was not quite what she was used to. Oh, the smell of drink was there to be certain, and there were far too many noises for her liking, but the feeling was different. While those few she had walked into while alive had a raucous air to them, an atmosphere that offered her very little, if any, comfort, this place, The Crystal Tavern, was different. The atmosphere was almost soothing, with a sense of camaraderie. The wooden statues were, dare she say it, beautiful, and, the aroma of drink wasn’t the heavy, disgusting, one she had been expecting.
It was...And she loathed to use the word, cozy. Someplace she wouldn’t mind sitting and staying for awhile at, even. So, she would. She sat down at a table closer to the corner, not quite willing to order anything yet, instead preferring to sit and watch in wait, observing the actions and the comings and goings of those who gave the place their patronage.

Cornerstones
@punsheathed
Though she had only just arrived and, thus, had no pressing need for anything, Jeanne thought it would be prudent to prepare herself for such a time when she could, potentially, require an item of some sort or another. With her current circumstances being what they were, it was, frankly, inevitable. With that in mind, she was inside the store, Pheri’s Cornerstore, browsing and looking the place over with a cursory glance, simply taking note of what could be found there, and how much of the land’s currency would be necessary if she wished to acquire any sort of item. It was the wise thing to do, preparation, and she was no longer the type to rely on others to do the work for her. A saint might work side by side with the being who she trusted, but then, she had grown beyond such necessities, had she not? She was not Jeanne D’Arc the saint, not anymore.
It was the shockingly bright red hair which drew her attention. She couldn’t help her interest in them, despite her typical attitude towards humanity as a whole. She, as Jeanne D’Arc Alter, as Avenger, needed nobody to aid her, had no need to cry out for another with no answer after the services she rendered. And yet...She was weakened with her arrival in this new land. An ally (yes, it would be an ally, nothing more or less would be acceptable to her) could only be a good thing, no? With that decided, she approached them, a slightly arrogant smirk on her face, her hand close to the sword on her hip...Just in case. “Tch. Flashy, aren’t you?” She asked, referencing the very bright hair which had drawn her eye in the first place.

Familiar Company
@ordinarybrilliance
This world was cold. It was a simple observation, and yet, it was the first and most apt one that Jeanne could make. She, a woman with a strong admiration of flames and their warmth, found such an environment distasteful. Yet, there was an odd sort of calm she couldn’t help but notice as well, one which she had only very rarely felt. Calm simply wasn’t in her nature as an Avenger. And yet, with only a sword in her possession, none of those abilities which provoked her rage (that wasn’t to say she had none, on the contrary, it was still burning as brightly as ever) past those limits it normally resided within, she felt....Lighter, almost.
Peculiar indeed. Part of her wondered if she was the only one from her world here, and whether it would be a good thing, or a bad one. She supposed she would find out soon enough, however, as, indeed, she did believe she spotted an individual she knew all too well. To approach or not was the question which lingered in her mind, but she quickly pushed it aside. Her rage might have dampened ever so slightly, but her boldness and brashness had not. With that in mind, she stepped towards him, her sword in hand, feeling strangely vulnerable without her other formidable abilities. “Humph. Well, your presence here is to be expected, isn’t it” she said by way of greeting.

-Jeanne D’Arc Alter/Avenger
Tumblr media
-Breathtaking amounts of anger and misanthropy -Needs friends but doesn’t want them -Doesn’t know how to read or write very well, but she’s learning  -Only 5′2″, but makes up for it with sheer force of will  -Likes fire too much  -Really mean most of the time, and utterly unrepentant about it.  -Hates people with a lot of faith and belief, as she believes that belief is evil.  -I muse her as an asexual touch-repulsed lesbian who is utterly clueless in regards to any and all forms of relationships, be they platonic or romantic.  -The primary reason why she has so much trouble learning and growing as a person is that she was created as, essentially, a dark mirror of the true Jeanne D’Arc. For her, it is impossible to forgive or forget any past wrongs against her.  -I desperately want her to learn and grow as a person even though such progress will be. Very. Slow.
