Confidence
Something we lack, envy, hate, love and want. We hate when people show confidence because we subconsciously want or lack it. For those who love it, WERK IT. Be humble. I'm not a model, not the prettiest either. I've worked with beautiful people who were so confident and I used to be so jealous until I worked on myself. I had been bullied and put down over so many years for my physical features. It had really brought me down but later I had learned that there's nothing I can do about it because that's what makes me, who I am. One should embrace themselves because different is special and unique. No one can be you and that is your super power. I will not conform to societal expectations to what the "perfect girl" looks like. I've learned to embrace who I am and my attributes and incorporate that to my own personal brand that I couldn't be more proud of. I'm still striving to use all of my potential to be the best I can be. Be the BEST you. Yes, confidence can be gained by dolling up in your cutest fit, slaying your face and feeling yourself but the best confidence comes within. You can't be truly confident if you feel that way only on the outside but not in the inside. Inner confidence and accepting your uniqueness from everyone else and embracing it radiates from within and shows on the outside. Positivity can really change lives and is totally contagious. Go all out and be you, embrace yourself and spread positivity. When you lack confidence, you hurt yourself more than help. A lack of confidence results in you being doubtful,uncertain, negative, judgemental, defensive, and lack inner peace. Once you achieve confidence, you will then be Energetic, Powerful andSuccessful. You will be able to Finally appreciating your self and acknowledge your true self worth. You will be able to have deep levels of self-awareness and who you are as a person. When you are confident, you will find your head high, your back straight and your chin up.
So gain that confidence! Be this positive energetic person that doesn’t let societal view dictate how you live your life. Once you gain confidence you gain a whole new view of a world worth living. Each and every one of us has our own unique strengths. Dig within yourself and try hard to find these potentials lying within you. See yourself for your potentials, not for your weaknesses. You need to appreciate yourself for who you really are and stop comparing yourselves to others. You are your own individual person who is amazing in their own ways. Realize you’re great qualities and believe in who you are as a person Remember that the way you view yourself is the way others view you so if you see yourself as a confident, talented, unique and strong person, others will see the same. That also means of you see yourself as weak, shaker, and unsure person people will also see that.

Dreams Before I Witnessed Reality
After high school I told myself that I was going to do things out of the ordinary and go out of my way to fulfill my dreams but I can confidently say now a lot of those plans have changed and I pretty much dreamed FAR beyond my reach. Let’s flashback to senior year when I thought I life was going to be amazing and I was going to be invincible after I graduate high school. HS Senior Mentality: I want to travel the world because that’s my life dream. After college I want to be an international marketer. In the process of becoming one I will learn each countries mannerisms, cultural differences, traditions and become deeply familiar with it to be successful. Learning about world cultures was my favorite subject but I’m pretty bummed that I didn’t get to learn more because the textbook sucked. I want to learn things in person. I really want to go into the fashion and cosmetics field and discover fashion and cosmetics around the world and have my own boutique or my own salon one day in my dream place to live AKA Dubai (Do you see how dumb I sound?). To achieve this goal I will go to UT Austin and major in International Business which is ideal for students like me who want to learn about business and cultures all over the world. I want to go study abroad and be away from home and learn everything that I can’t learn by sitting here in Houston. I WILL achieve this!
College Senior Reality: I’m broke from traveling the world but its still my life dream. I still want to become an international marketer but it’s a lot of work and experience and MBA’s aren't cheap but don't forget you are 15K in debt from undergrad already. I wanted to learn more about different cultures and practices around the world but didn't get a chance too because International Business is no longer a minor or a major at UH and I’m required to take all these classes that have nothing to do with my major so I can't even take extra classes without having to spend more time and money. I want to still go into the fashion and cosmetic field but it’s kind of impossible in Houston because all we have here is energy and oil jobs and all the glitz and glam is in LA which I can’t even move too because my family is here and I'm BROKE once again. What in the world was I thinking... Dubai? I can't even afford to go there on vacation, let alone live there and open businesses there with the money I already don't have. My GPA would never allow me into UT and my brain would never allow me to progress a minute in UT. UH has my heart though.
They told you to shoot for the stars but they don't tell you the sh*tty reality that actually happens.
