Communication Card Requests Are Now Open!

I've been considering doing some fun stuff like moodboards, stimboards, userboxes ect. Except there are already so many awsome people in the community doing that....

So I was thinking, maybe I could make communication cards?

I'm autistic and semi-nonverbal myself and I've been thinking of getting some communication cards anyway so it would be cool if I could also make some for other people!

These would just have to be the designs, not physical copies, so you'd have to print and laminate them yourself, but they'll also be completely free.

The target audience of these are alterhumans/nonhumans and neurodivergent people but anyone is welcome to request!

I'm probably only going to take a couple requests at a time, and close my askbox until I'm finished.

How To Request:

I'll be taking in reqs via my askbox, here are some things to consider when requesting:

✦ what colour palette do you want?

✦ what character/object/being would you want the cards to feature? [THESE WILL ALL HAVE TO BE PRE-EXISTING PHOTOS, sadly I won't be able to hand draw all of them as I'm struggling with my art]

✦ do you want a specific theme?

✦ what font would you like? [Since these are communication cards keep in mind that the font should be readable]

✦ any other details?

You're welcome to specify as much as you want! Just keep on mind that if you don't give me enough info I will fill in the blanks to the best of my ability.

I think it depends on who you're trying to come out to and how close you're with them....

I kinda came out as a therian to my parents back in 2020/2021, though I'm not quite sure they understood what I meant, so I don't know if that counts. (I think I might've also mentioned something to my sister back then, but I'm also not sure if she understood)

As for coming out to friends, I came out to three of them in 2021, thought I'm no longer friends with one of them (we weren't close anyway lol). I'm now in a different friend group and I'm thinking of telling the friend that I didn't know back then (and thus haven't come out to yet). When I came out as alterhuman it turned out that my closest friend (also the only person who knows I'm fictionkin, the others only know about my therianthropy) was also questioning alterhumanity, so out of everyone I talk about it with them the most. Everyone in my friend group is queer so I think that made things easier since they're more accepting of things.

I'm sorry I can't give much about advice other than: see how accepting this person is of LGBTQ+ and animal-related subcultures like furries and kemonomimi. Obviously they're not alterhumanity but a lot of people outside the community often group them together and there is overlap between these communities so judging how they'll react to such things can help you figure out if they're supportive. (If you're a spiritual alterhuman you can also try to ask them about if they believe is past lives or multiverse theory or other such things, that way it might be easier to explain to them)
