Music is a universal language of mankind. Music is also the another way to be connect with people all over the world.

After going through to my music library , the genre of the songs in my library is not consistent. Meaning i dont have a certain genre that I can say that I truly love it. It is mixed of K-pop or korean songs, American songs and ofcourse OPM. I have Hiphop, RnB, Jazz, Ballad and etc.

But among that 280+ songs, there is this one song that i can proudly say that it’s my favorite and it is the song that can really tell who i am as a person.

With this song, I can express who i really am or it tells my story. I can really relate with this song. It seems like the story of my life or my story is the same with the person who wrote the song.

The title is “So Far Away” by Suga, a korean rapper who is also a writer, producer and composer. So Far Away is about having a dream that is only a dream. A dream that you think you can reach it but you cant. It’s something you really want but others like relatives stops you from doing it.

In the song, Suga is like a story teller, he is telling to everyone all the hardships he went through just to be a singer/rapper. It’s like a sad song at first but as the song goes on, he as a story teller is motivating the listeners that no matter what happens as long as you fight for the dream that you want, you can have it or you can reach it.

As a dreamer or a person who has a dream, i can really relate to this song. Because my family dont support me with my dreams. They don’t believe that i can do it.

Music is another language that we use to communicate with one another.

I love music since I was a little young girl who loves to dance when she hears a beat.

Around that age the only thing i know is you dance and not sing to music. But as I grow up I’ve realized that singing and dancing is a nice combination.

My mom supported my music career. At the age of 4, I learned to play a keyboard and eventually a piano. She even hired a teacher to give me some lessons every weekends.

I can say that I really love music since I was young. I even have a DVD concert of Britney Spears, Beyonce and a set of Westlife album.

Anyway, enough about that so this blog entry is about my favorite song. I must say that this question is one of the hardest question that I can’t answer in a snap.

The thing about music, it’s flexible and transparent. That you can relate in any song even if you’re not in the mood. Music is a mood changer or a mood booster.

So back again with favorite song, so currently my favorite song is “So Far Away by Agust D ft. Suran" it’s a kpop song by the way.

This song is about not having a dream then eventually having one and also a side of motivation. I must say that I can relate to this song. Because before I don’t really have a dream or a goal that I want to accomplish. I just follow what my parents want me to do even I don’t really want to do it, until now I admit that I still don’t know what I want.

Anyway, I know the name ‘Agust D’ is quite unique so I’m gonna share some facts about him. Just a few facts:

AGUST D AKA SUGA OF BTS

He is a member of a boygroup in South Korea name BANGTAN BOYS/BTS for short. His position is the lead rapper since before he is an underground rapper/beatmaker. AGUST D is the backward spelling of DT SUGA. DT stands for Daegu Town since he is from Daegu a province in South Korea.

Other than this song, my favorite is Dear No One by Tori Kelly. This song describes my personality and it is so accurate. Especially this line: “I don’t really like big crowds, I tend to shut people out, I like my space” This line really hits me hard in a good way though, because i’m an ambivert with 70% of introvert and I’m a picky person with few friends. Modern Technology

According to a neurologists, modern technology is changing the way our brains work. I agree to this statement because as a user of the modern technology it does change the way my brains work. It has changed my mind by being less patient and always thinking a quick solution instead of thinking a better solution.

Modern technologies are taking over of the world and some skills are dying because of it. Beside of all the good qualities that we usually see all over news, media, social media and etc. there would always be a bad side of it. But the bad effects are different from each one of us.

For me it is an advantage to have a modern technology or gadgets since my mom is working out of the country and communicating online is much better for the both of us. My life is like depended at these modern technologies that we have right now.  I use it to communicate with my family and friends from all over the world. I had met a lot of new friends on these social media websites from all over the world.

The only thing is that has affected me of this impact is that communicating face to face is much harder from now on that we can use social media to have contacts instead of the typical meeting up or hanging out. And also the money that I spend just to have an internet where ever I go so my mom can contact me.

Most of the time, me and my mom still use FB Messenger even if she is around because she said that it is much better to use it because she can know if I received the message or not and also she can know if I already read it or not but we always talk face to face when she is here in the Philippines. For my friends, we can’t have a face to face conversation since some of them are out of the country or we have a conflict with our schedule.  Though sometimes, if we tend to talk a lot online we usually don’t have any topics left when we already have a time to finally see each other.  Sometimes I wish that me and my friends don’t talk online so we can actually say that we miss and have a lot of stories to tell to each other.

My Senior High Strand/Track

My senior high track is HUMSS or HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCE. And for my strand is COMMUNICATION.

First what is HUMMS? According to this blog ( https://learnershaven.wordpress.com/2016/09/13/first-blog-post/) "The HUMSS strand revolves around improving a student’s reading, writing, and speaking skills because if you haven’t noticed yet, people who choose this strand are aspiring to become members of the society who will be dealing with a lot of people."

"Communication arts broadly includes studies and professions that deal with graphic and visual design such as graphic design, graphic arts, art direction, corporate design and other areas. People who work in communication arts include photographers, illustrators, typographers and graphic designers."

After giving this meaning about my strand and track, to explain why did i choose this track.

First of all my parents want me too, second I love language and third i thought communication arts doesn't have that complicated math.

At first I really want to be a forensic psychologist or a lawyer but I think it's too complicated. I'm not saying communication is not but it is that as the grade 11 school year ends my love for this track is just growing into something bigger.

So now i'm dedicated to push this through until college and became a TV show producer.

This line has always been my favorite line from season one until the finale. Everytime i hear this line, a smile always shows in my face. Sense of Hearing

the sleeping figure shifted into a ball after hearing foot steps from across the hall. a cold breeze of December waken me up from a deep slumber

unfamiliar noises of rambling downstairs interrupting my thoughts about despair a wonderful sound echoed in my room making my heart sing and bloom

just like a flower in a pot, trying to grow i opened my window and heard a sound of car its like leaving a something with a scar. Marking and saying what we only know.

time flies so fast that even i can’t see until i saw a moon and stars from up above after hours, i heard them talking about me. its just how they act like a dove

as 7pm arrived, the chattering stopped. unfamiliar noise echoed around the house. A sound of cricket replaced the yelling and laughter. i decided to listen and eaves dropped

But instead of expecting for silence, it turned into gun shots. you won’t understand it since its so loud then again its stop when a door shut its like that person who left is proud.

i decided to go out from my room To get some mop and a broom From me to clean the mess i have done but i as get back all the mess is gone.

my mom picked me up and smiled to me saying ‘its okay and sleep again my dear’ i fell asleep in her arms, with a mind full of fear. then again i woke up with a sound of cars outside in the morning with my mom beside me.

Me in Junior High

In my junior high years that i spent in Saint Jude College of Dasmarinas is quite memorable. 

In my first year highschool, i call this as my jeje year or a year to forget. Since there isn’t any exciting thing happened that year. It’s just like very ordinary year. Except that I won 2nd place for scrabble,

Then in my 2nd year highschool, this year is a bit better than my 1st. I met some friends whom i thought that it’s gonna last but it didn’t. Anyway, this is the first year i ever joined some school contests. Like a group singing contest, cheering and more. Unfortunately we didn't win that contest. So when the sport fest came, i also joined the cheering and some games like volleyball, basketball.

We almost won the games and i won the scrabble but only second place. iut the cheering we won that. It’s one of the moments and i will never forget.

3rd year, the busiest year ever. Video shooting here,speech here,research and requirements here. We had to make a website then gonna defend it to a defense. Since i was the assistant leader, i almost do all the work since besides me being a assistant leader, i was also the programmer. Then we also won the cheering thingy at our sport fest. 

Then on my 4th year, it’s like one of the chillest school year ever. Because our teachers are meh to us since we are named as ‘Worst Section Ever’. We also had our retreat, in our retreat we have done alot of bad things. We broke alot of rules, like no phones allowed,boys are not allowed inside girls room and we pissed our assigned pastor alot. After this we had a hard time getting good moral certificate since our school got banned from that retreat house. (i dont know if that’s real though) Luckily i already got my good moral before that happened. We didn’t won this year’s cheering in our sport fest, and i didn’t played any game except for board games like GAMES OF THE GENERAL.

Then we this time we have to make a program for our own choice. So we made a inventory system software and luckily we passed for this one. Anyway, at the end of this school year, me and my friends drifted. I thought we would last but it’s just a temporary kind of friendship. More likely ‘friendshit’

My bestfriend since elementary told me that my personality is the same from elem to highschool that ‘if i hate one person, i will hate him/her until i don;t see that person anymore.’ then also she said ‘im a type of person who knows who to be friends with and knows their motives after i hangout with them for a while’ last thing she said about me is that ‘i was secretive and not open.’ 

Then i also asked her if i changed after our junior high she said yes, i was more open now.

Two years later, I met someone just like you

I became his puppet and his princess

One night, while driving in Route 66

I remembered the moments we have

We stayed at cheap motels

Drinking beer

And making love

We spent a year for traveling around the country with our rover

We became famous for our cool experiences

And our blog became famous

It all about partying, road trips and love

Our little own wild things adventure together

It can take a split second or a lifetime to find it

My life has change for a lifetime

Mostly half of it is not good

But who cares, it’s my life

My family neglected me

My friends hated me.

Mostly everyone, who knows me hated me

But there is one thing I’m sure of

He stayed beside me

Accepted me

I thought I should be happy

So I became happy and positive

Until one day, you saw me lying lifelessly on the ground

With a pond of blood around me

I remember you holding a gun, aiming to me

You cried and yelled at me

From that I know, it will be the end

This was taken last year on the last day of our intramurals. As I remember when I took this photo or selfie, we are preparing for the cheer leading thing.

A lot of things changed, I transferred to De La Salle University - Dasmarinas.

I changed my circle of friends into a better one, cause I admit the old ones are not that nice for a long term kind of friendship.

Why? Because before I even transferred schools, we started drifting apart and I hate it when they keep on saying "Rich kid" "you won't gonna remember me"

I don't have alot of friend only 3 to 7 close friend then the rest is only a colleague.

After that, my way of understanding has changed. At first the span of my understanding is limited. Because back in my old school, my friends won't understand those kind of things unless you force them too.

But now, i need to have a deep understanding in order for me to cope up.

Lastly, I've become more open, the old introvert me has turned into an ambivert. I can now share my love for books, I can put on makeup anytime I want, my insecurities and my love for kpop without being anxious.

Last year, I experienced alot of things like depression, anxiety and stress. Not only from school but also from family.

To cover up these scars, I became active at social medias and started reading books once again

To sum it all up, I changed a bit for good and I still do have a lot of things to Change but i'm willing to change it.

My Favorite Book!

“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched. They are felt with the heart” - Little Prince

Picking one book as my favorite is already hard. But i must say there is only one book that really made me think and realize about a lot of things. 

The Little Prince by  Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. 

this book changed my way of thinking about growing up and how should i understand one another. While reading this book which i just borrowed at the library in school, i manage to finish it even at that time it’s ‘HELL WEEK’ because of finals and so. As soon as i got the book, i quickly read it. There is one moment when i was in Kenny Rogers to eat lunch, I didn’t notice the waitress asking me for my order coz i got hooked up at reading it. 

“Miss, ready to order?” The waitress asked me and I was a bit shocked since I haven’t check the menu yet.

“Ah, OMG Fried-unfried chicken and a strawberry yogurt drink” luckily she is an understanding waitress.

As she left my table, I got back at reading. I was lost in my small world of imagination until a call from the waitress bring me back. She just reminded me that the food will be out within 20 to 30 minutes.

At that time, I didn’t mind at how long my food will be ready because I was occupied with the book I was reading.

A loud voice of women chattering and a cry of a baby has brought me back in reality. Realizing my food was already served in front of me.

While I was eating, the story of the poor is still in my mind. I was astonished of the story and if I know the author or Something I would personally go to him and thank him. Little Prince made me realize that adults are not perfect and not always right. And also even a small sacrifice can turn into a big one.

The pilot helped the prince get back to the his planet even it made him worst. He sacrifice the thought of being happy and not lonely in order for the prince to get back in his planet. In real life, sacrifice your own happiness for someone’s sake is already a special thing.

Why did I thought that the pilot sacrificed? Because the little prince motivated the pilot at going back to his drawing and the prince accompanied the pilot for few days who is already losing hope. And that is how The Little Prince touched me~
