Some lesser known Gmail tips?
Every Gmail user has two email addresses. For example: if you have a Gmail id: [email protected], the second one is [email protected]. This will be useful for opening multiple accounts in a website or app. For example, In Redbus mobile app, if you are new user (i.e., if you use new email id) you will get flat 100 rupees off on ticket booking. If you have already used [email protected] you can still use [email protected] and take advantage of the offer. You will receive your ticket to your normal inbox itself. Thank me for saving your time from creating a new email account. Ref: All Gmail Users Have Two Email Addresses Edit: Updated from the tips given in the comment. The dots in the Gmail id doesn't matter. Lets say your gmail id is [email protected], then if somebody is sending email id to [email protected] or [email protected] then the email will be delivered to [email protected] inbox itself. Create unlimted email ids by adding + anything to your email id. Say your email id is [email protected], then if you add any letters after your name by adding '+' symbol, the emails will be delivered to [email protected] inbox itself. This is a nice trick when you are registereing in a suspicious website. Some websites will sell your email ids for money, and the buyer will spam advertisemts to your inbox. Say http://randomwebsite.com is a suspicious website and you want to register in it for some reason. While registering give your email id as [email protected]. The emails from the website will be delivered to [email protected], and you can simply fliter out the message from this website by typing [email protected] in search box. Also if you find that the spam mail have the receipent email id as [email protected], then it means that http://randomwebsite.com has sold your email id.

What are the top bad habits to stop immediately or I'll regret big time later in life?
Living like this:
1.Opening your eyes to a smartphone every morning.
2. Spending 30 mins in bed checking news feed, stalking peoples’ profiles, endlessly scrolling down on Instagram, until you absolutely have to get up.
3. Blasting music on earphones while commuting. Many young people do this. Often it is so loud, I can listen to music if I am in their vicinity. It damages the neurons in your ears and leads to deafness. It is a fact.
4. Binge watching YouTube videos. It takes an enormous amount of self control to stop at that one video that you had to watch.
5. Scrolling through social media in bed before sleep till your eyes are dead sore.
6. Realizing that you did nothing productive and drown in your own guilt.
Social media , whether Facebook, Instagram , YouTube or Pinterest are designed in such a way, that you keep getting endless, useless, irrelevant content on your feed. It is an endless spiral. This is how they make money. Don’t be a bakra, get off social media or develop enormous amounts of self control.
Keep track of how much time you spend on social media.
Sometimes, we get important information from social media. Categorize your browsing into useful and useless. Only spend your time on things that add value to your life.
Use your time to do other productive things.
Win at life.

This pic means a lot to me
It makes people think about other non-human living creatures and to know how much they suffer
The picture says (what would you feel if you ever saw a woman in a situation like that) you won’t but other living creatures are in the same spot as her
Animals have no voice, we should be their voice
Just because they don’t talk and they’re not humans doesn’t mean they don’t feel the pain
They feel, they cry, they miss, they are far from their family
Factories take the small cows , chickens when they are only a few monthes years old so they can sell milk and eggs by giving them dangerous chemical food so they can grow faster
They push them , they put them in dirty small crowded cages with no light , no family , no hope
This picture is to let everybody think and feel about not just the cows but every kind of animals that is being used for human needs and food
They are not tools , they are not food , they are just like us , they can fall in love and live peacfully and that’s what they deserve
This picture is to let everybody understand the pain we are putting this animal in just to enjoy a meal or a new jacket made of fur.

Vomitinf feeling while travelling
You can hug the bag tightly (to the stomach, but not to the chest). The bag pushes the stomach inside and restricts the movement of food inside.
This helps you in avoiding a bit of motion sickness and vomiting sensation in a moving bus.

#1. If you want to know about something from someone , ask them a question and when they are done answering , keep silent and maintain an eye contact. They will tell you some more stuff, almost everything.
#2. When you try to convince someone over something, make sure they are sitting and you are standing. This makes them believe you sooner.
#3. The key to confidence is walking into a room and assume that everyone already likes you.
#4. Refer to people you’ve just met by their name. People love being referred to by their name and it will establish a sense of trust and friendship right away. Example: “Nice to meet you Alex. So, Alex how do you know John?” And continue to repeat name throughout the conversation.
#5. If someone is attracted to you, their eyes start blinking more than usual during a conversation with you.
#6. Spot the difference between a fake smile and a real one. You can find out if someone is smiling for real or faking it by looking at their eyes. Wrinkles form near eye corners when the smile is genuine.
#7. Pay attention to people’s feet. To know if someone is interested in a conversation look at their feet, if they are pointing towards you, they are. If they are pointing sideways or any other direction, they aren’t. Feet don’t lie.
#8. When at a party or a meeting. When at a party or a meeting, crack a joke and observe the people who are laughing around you. People who feel close to each other will be looking at each other. This is useful for discerning out friendships and other relationships.
#9. The life hack to make people do what you want them to do. Offer someone a choice instead of a command. For example, instead of saying drink your milk to a toddler, ask which mug would he/she like to drink milk from. This gives the person a sense of control hence produces a higher chance of a better outcome.
#10 How to win an argument?. If the person arguing loses his temper and starts shouting, natural human tendency is to shout back. DON’T! Stay calm and reply in silence. This will piss them off even more. Try it! It works.
#11. Mirror people’s body language to build up trust. If you subtly mimic the body language of the person you’re talking to, you can effectively build up trust with them. By mirroring the way they speak and how they move they’ll like you more, because, to them, it will seem as if you are pretty good compatible.
#12 Inception To plant a seed of idea in someone’s mind, ask them to not think of a particular thing at all. Let’s say I ask you to NOT think about ELEPHANTS. What are you thinking of?

Mark Twain's prediction
In 1909, the author of Tom Sawyer was quoted saying, "I came in with Halley's Comet in 1835. It is coming again next year, and I expect to go out with it. It will be the greatest disappointment of my life if I don't go out with Halley's Comet. The Almighty has said, no doubt: 'Now here are these two unaccountable freaks; they came in together, they must go out together'."
Twain died of a heart attack on April 21, 1910, one day after the comet's closest approach to Earth.

IS THIS THE MOST AMAZING COINCIDENCE ?
It was in the year 1892 that an 18 year old young chap who had come to study at Stanford University faced a financial crisis. Being an orphan(since the age of ten) no support from his parents or close relatives was available and so he was dependent on himself completely to carry out his expenditure for studies. He used to work as a typist. And he also worked in laundry and as a secretary to geology professor carry out his expenses for the college.
THE YOUNG GEOLOGY STUDENT
Once he felt paucity of money during his study at Paulo Alto campus, Stanford College, California.
Now at this point he and his friend thought of brilliant plan as he decided to arrange for a musical concert in the college campus which would enable him to raise fund and eventually pay the requisite money.
Things turned out to be very difficult for him when he and his friends found no pianist on the first day. They again started searching frantically for a pianist for their concert. Finally they found a renowned pianist named Ignacy Jan Paderewsky who agreed to perform in the concert but demanded a staggering amount of 2000$ from the two young students. The students finally agreed and the performance of the music concert was done.
THE GREAT PIANIST
Although the program was great but the student failed to advertise properly for the event and as a result he received a moderate crowd.
However to the disappointment of these students they could collect only 1600$.This student went to the pianist Paderewsky and gave him the 1600$ and another sum of 400$ which he had arranged.
The pianist by that time had learned about the plight of these students. He declined to take the amount and he urged the student to first pay the college fee ,the extra expense (if any for the concert) and if money is left then that should be paid to him..
The boys were highly surprised. Then they thanked the pianist and left. This great pianist later became the prime minister of Poland .
IGNACY JAN PADEREWSKY
During his tenure as the PM and foreign minister of Poland from January to November 1919. He made a lot of foreign trips to arrange for the financial aid for his country since his country had suffered greatly in World War 1. This war ravaged nation faced some of the most horrific atrocities with people dying because of lack of food and occupation.
With over a million dead in war
Destruction of Bridges
Millions rendered homeless and displaced
Widespread chaos and destruction
Millions of Polish children were on on the verge of starvation to death since after a war resources of a nation get exhausted and it takes a little amount of time before the nation recuperates.
Now the P.M asked for an international help but most of the countries in Europe were themselves facing a severe economic crunch. So he asked for help from America.
Now by 1917 America had entered the war.
Woodrow Wilson knew that the success of allied forces would depend on how better are the army fed. Hence he had elected Herbert Hoover who had worked in London as Head of Food and Relief Administration.(since he had worked brilliantly during Boxing uprising and also in London).
Children became orphaned and were starving
When Herbert saw the critical situation of Poland after the war he immediately send ships of food ,clothing and other materials to Poland . He immediately ordered 7 lakh foot wears, clothing and foods for the children were sent before the onset of winter. Food were shipped sufficient till the next harvest comes. He also sent another half millions coats and foot wears in the following years.
Paderewski was heavily relieved after the assistance from U.S. He went to thank the head of Food and Relief administration.
When Paderewski went to head of Food and relief Administration, the head Hoover stopped him and said "Mr. Prime Minister, I am the one who should be thanking you. You may not remember this, but several years ago you gave a concert in Palo Alto, California. The young men who organized the concert could not afford to pay you from their ticket sales, and you generously forgave then the debt, helping them to work their way through college. I was one of those young men.”
The Head of Food and Relief Administration further became the President of US from 1929 to 1933.
In 1920 Poland was attacked by Soviet Union and half of its land was conquered by invading Russians who also confiscated the livestock and food items.Poland was again war ravaged. Notwithstanding Hoover extended support to Poland and over half billion food items were sent to Poland from 1920-1922 for the dying people.
Eventually saving millions of death
Thus one can say we get paid for whatever we do in some or the other form !

What are some of the most horrific parts of nature?Sal Eedy
I am, in fact, a human. I think.
Written Oct 17
Look at this adorable animal:
That’s a sea otter. He’s so cuuuuuuute!
Except when they rape baby seals.
Rape them to death.
And beyond.
Yes, these adorable animals have been observed grabbing weaned seal pups, dragging them into deep water and raping them as they drown. And then coming back over several days and raping the corpse.
That’s, what….necro-pedo-zoophilia? I’d call that pretty horrific.
No, I’m not making this up to be gross or funny.

4 Numbers = Conventionally grown. If the sticker contains only 4 digits, It is a conventionally grown apple.
5 Numbers starting with digit 8 = Genetically grown apple.
5 Numbers starting with digit 9 = Organically grown apple.
I hope it is something interesting for a few ;-)

Which country is the unluckiest?
Castle Bravo was about 1,000 times more powerful than each of the atomic bombs which were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II.
The fallout of Castle Bravo, which was detonated on Bikini Atoll, had spread traces of radioactive material as far as Australia, India and Japan, and even the United States and parts of Europe.
There were total of 67 NUCLEAR TEST with total combined yield of 108,496 kilotons, over 7,200 times more powerful than the atomic weapons used during World War II.
Now all these test have two common things the United States of America and the Marshall Islands.
In name of the nuclear arms race with Soviet Union, the one country who was getting pissed off by USA were the Marshall Islands. USA conducted a total of 67 nuclear test (most on Bikini Atoll) starting from 1946 to 1958.
This is what UN human right council had to say about the aftermath of these test:
‘near-irreversible environmental contamination had led to the loss of livelihoods and many people continued to experience indefinite displacement.’
In 1956, the United States Atomic Energy Commission regarded the Marshall Islands as "by far the most contaminated place in the world."
Many of the islands and atolls of the Marshall Islands have been contaminated to a extent that possible human existence on them anymore is NULL.
Bikini Atoll where 23 nuclear test were conducted has contamination level of 184 mrem/y.
The People of the Marshall Islands in 2014 marked the 60th Anniversary of these nuclear test.
For the people of the Marshall Islands it wasn’t only about losing land, it was losing about cultural heritage, traditional customs and skills.

Do you know how people used to wake up on time when world don’t even know the word “ALARM CLOCK”?
Prior to 15th century people used to place the candle above a metal plate and they create a makeshift alarm by inserting a nail into the candle at the desired interval. When the wax around the nail melts it would drop on to the metal plate below and make a noise.
