Sorry if this is going to sound rude, but can you show me the prologue part? You know the part about the magic mirror and the unknown beast fight?
Alright here,
Ah, my dear, esteemed benefactor.
My proud, beautiful flower of evil.
You are truly the fairest one of all.
Oh, magic mirror, thy wisdom I entreat.
Reveal unto me the visage that I seek...
Smoke snaked from the mountain of debris. Thick like rain clouds, it puffed upward to blanket the sky.
Fire had razed everything in the area, and anything that escaped the flames had been torn down by windstorms. Amid the wreckage, an iron window frame drooped, reminiscent of a withered plant stalk. Fissures cracked open the ground, and treetops still stretched outward. All traces of the building's former majesty were gone. The sight was so dreadful that it would have been easier to accept the idea that this had always been a wasteland, and that the time we'd spent there had been an illusion.
Ashes blew through the air. The wind swept up fragments of glass and pebbles that dug into my skin, prickling, stinging. I somehow managed to wrench my eyelids open, though they tried to stay shut to protect my eyes.
The first thing I saw was the blue flame. Burning up the dust and sending sparks scattering, the fire shimmered and licked the sky.
When I looked closely into the flames, I could see eyes blazing brightly. Protruding nostrils panting raggedly. Fangs as large as my face. Before my eyes was a beast so large I could tilt my head back until it ripped clean off and still not see the end of it.
The beast's hideous face twisted into a fearsome snarl as it howled, "Unngraaaaaaah!"
Something moved in the corner of my eye. A person. And not just one. People in black robes dotted the scorched earth. Cowled hoods hid their eyes, and they shouted desperately.
But I couldn't catch a word of it. The beast's jaw dropped, and its legs shook, unsteady once more. Neither could I hear the howl so loud and intense it shook the very earth itself.
More intense than any of that was the voice whispering intently in my mind.
The time left to me, to them, to you is short. You must not let go of that hand...

The fandom is mad that the OB boys didn’t apologize. Still, people are missing the point. The reason we don’t hear the OB victims apologize is because when someone apologizes, it feels like the victim is obligated to forgive them; it's like you're demanding the other's forgiveness without thinking about how the victim feels. Apologies are all about the people you hurt, not about yourself. So if someone apologizes, people shouldn’t be obligated to forgive them
That could explain why Ace rejected Riddle’s apology. At first, Ace's rejection of Riddle’s apology might come off as selfish. Ace is establishing a boundary between Riddle and himself. Ace recognizes that Riddle is sincere, but still didn't accept his apology, only if Riddle works to earn it. Ace is willing to forgive Riddle if he works hard to earn it, so Ace wasn’t wrong to reject Riddle's apology.
Think back at what I mentioned before, when someone apologizes, you are not obligated to forgive them, and the victim is not obligated to forgive the offender. At times, you have to work hard to earn that forgiveness, much like Riddle did.
THIS.

Is there a flashback monologue for Riddle in the novel? Can you please show it to me?
Sure, here it is,
MOM WAS ALWAYS RIGHT.
"Happy eighth birthday, Riddle," she said.
Every year, on my birthday, she gave me a cake specially made to make me healthier. As she placed my birthday cake in front of me, she said, "This year's birthday cake is a low-sugar recipe made with nuts and lecithin-rich soy flour to improve your cerebral function."
"Thank you," I said, and she smiled.
Mom always says that everything she did was for my sake. That she was only thinking of me when she said things like that. That it was all for me. For my sake.
She loves me the most out of anyone in the whole world. So maybe she'll listen when I asked for something?
"But, um, I... Just once, I wish I could try one of those tarts covered with bright red strawberries," I asked timidly.
We always passed by a local cake shop on our Sunday walk, so I had seen the tart in the window, decorated with what looked like jewels. It seemed like a different creature from the brown cake I always got. It was almost too beautiful to be real. The way it sparkled and shone-could people really eat it? What did the fluffy cream taste like? How sweet were those strawberries on top?
I wanted to try that tart.
When I told her, Mommy suddenly started to get angry.
"Absolutely not!" she said, incensed. "Those tarts are monstrously unhealthy. I might as well feed you poison! Even just a single slice would exceed your recommended intake of sugar for a whole day. And taking in all that sugar at once won't do you a lick of good. That is not something you should be eating."
I loved my mommy. She was always right, all the time. If she said so, then it had to be true.
"Now, dinner tonight will be a healthy tuna sauté rich in DHA and omega-3 fatty acids. Aah, but... What is the recommended caloric intake for a single meal for an eight-year-old child?" she asked me.
"Six hundred kilocalories, Mom," I responded dutifully.
"Correct. So you mustn't eat more than a hundred grams. Understood?"
"Yes." When I nodded, Mommy told me what a good boy I was. I didn't need anything else.
I never talked about strawberry tarts again.
"That's enough classical magic study for today," Mother said and held out a classic text about magical ethics. On the first page of the thick volume was the famous dedication, "To all the mages." At the time, I was several years into my education as a mage, and I could read the books grown-up mages read. "Read up to chapter 3 before tomorrow and summarize the reading in less than a thousand words. Now, you may have one hour of independent study."
"Thank you, Mother," I said dutifully.
"Excellent. I have an errand to run, so I will see you in an hour." Mother smiled and left the room. She had a work engagement every day at this time that she abso-lutely could not miss. When she returned, we would begin the study of potionology. Until then, I would prepare for the lesson.
She had packed every academic subject into a daily schedule that ran down to the minute. If I performed well, I would be praised; if I didn't, I would be punished. But I had no complaints. After all, Mother was always right, so if she said it was important, then it must be. This was my "normal." Days of what was right, without any deviation.
What brought it all tumbling down was a faint sound against the window.
"Is someone knocking on the window?" I stood up, unlocked the window, and opened it.
There were two boys outside.
"Ah! He opened it!" a boy with green hair said, brightening with a smile. Glasses much too big for his face were pushed up by his cheeks and slid off to one side.
"Hey, come play with us!" a boy who was half-cat, with purple ears, insisted as he yanked on my hand. I was so surprised by the softness of his hand on mine that I automatically pulled back.
"Who are you?" I asked. Just saying that made my heart pound. It was the first time I'd done anything that wasn't on the schedule.
"I'm Artemiy Artemiyevich Pinker," the cat boy said.
"Artemiy Artemiyevich Pinker?" I repeated. "That's a really long name."
"Wow! I've never seen a kid who could say Chenya's name after hearing it only one time!" The boy with the glasses laughed. "I'm Trey. Hey, come play croquet with us."
"That's..." I shook my head. "I can't. It's independent study time. I have to study."
I was sure that I had disappointed them and that they would leave. The thought made me incredibly sad, even though I was the one who had refused. I poked at the neatly cleaned rug with my toes.
"Independent study, huh? That means you get to pick what to do, right?" Chenya asked.
"Huh?" When I lifted my face, Chenya's ears were twitching merrily.
"My grandpa always says play is a form of study!" he said.
"He's right," Trey insisted. "Just play with us for a little bit?"
"O-okay. Just for a little, though!" I agreed.
Carefully, I brought over a chair so I could climb out the window, making sure it didn't make a sound dragging across the floor. My heart was leaping in my chest, pounding so loudly I was sure they could hear it. I stood up on the chair and set one foot on the ledge. Trey held out his hand.
"Hey, what's your name?" he asked.
"R-Riddle. Riddle Rosehearts," I respond.
That was the moment I made my first friends.
I had the best time playing with Trey and Chenya. I'd known the rules of croquet, but I'd never played it before. They were surprised when I told them that. When I said I'd never played hide-and-seek or tag either, they were even more surprised, and they played all kinds of games with me. The hour flew by in the blink of an eye.
"What's wrong. Riddle?" Trey asked. "You look like you're gonna cry. We can play again tomorrow, y'know?"
"Three's way more fun than two," Chenya told him. "And you like three better than one, yeah?"
"Yeah." I nodded. "I want to see you and Trey again tomorrow. Let's play!"
After that, I snuck out of my room every day to play with them, for just that one hour during independent study. It became our playtime.
It wasn't just croquet. They knew about lots of things I had no clue about: TV shows that were popular. The festival that was happening in the neighborhood soon. The orange kittens that had been born a couple houses over. It was all fun, but the most exciting thing was talking about sweets I'd never eaten.
"Whaaaat? You've never tried a strawberry tart, Riddle?" Chenya asked.
"Nope." I shook my head. "Mother says sugar is basically poison, so I'm not allowed."
"Well, sure, if you eat a whole one by yourself maybe." Trey got a sad look on his face, so I asked what was wrong, and he told me that his family ran a cake shop. The strawberry tart I longed for, the one sitting in the window, which I had dreamed of for so long-that was from Trey's family's shop.
"I know!" he said suddenly, in a bright voice. "Come have some right now."
"What?!" I exclaimed. Did I look that hungry? 1 hurriedly shook my head, but Trey grinned.
"It's super yummy," he said.
"But... Mother..."
"One slice isn't gonna kill you. Plus, I know Mom and Dad will be happy if you came over, Riddle."
"Excellent idea. But I want more than just a slice I want the whole tart!" Chenya declared.
"Okay, no." Trey shook his head firmly. "Not happening."
"S-so... Are you sure?" I followed them to Trey's house. Trey's little brother and sister were inside. No matter how many times Trey told them to go play somewhere else, they kept chattering at me, full of curiosity. His house was so busy, his family so animated. Even the way Trey sighed with relief when they finally left seemed to be happily fond, and I thought about how different it was from my house.
I waited with Chenya in Trey's room.
"Here you are. Go on, dig in," Trey said as he placed a shiny, red strawberry tart on a snowy-white plate before me. When I stared, unable to believe it really existed, Trey and Chenya laughed.
"Hurry up and eat it!" Chenya insisted.
I poked it with a silver fork, and the strawberries were knocked off-balance and nearly fell off the edge. So a tart was a fragile thing. I carefully cut off a small bite and put it in my mouth.
How happy I was in that moment! I can still feel it like it was yesterday. I never get sick of replaying the memory.
A sweetness the likes of which I'd never experienced spread across my tongue.
The rich cream melted inside my mouth and slid gently down my throat. The crust of the tart crumbled and broke apart at the mere touch of my teeth. The jewel-like strawberries were not as sweet as they looked. When I bit into them, I was surprised at the fruit juice that spilled into my mouth. This was the real thing. Huh. So this was what it tasted like. This was what it smelled like. It was sourer than I'd imagined, and much, much more delicious. Aah, to think that something so tasty existed in this world!
"Thank you ... Trey, Chenya," I said.
Trey grinned. "When you eat it with a look like that on your face, I almost want to be the one thanking you."
"I get how Riddle feels. Your family's tart are so yummy," Chenya said.
I would never forget that day. I never wanted to forget it. I ate the tart one heavenly bite at a time, slowly, savoring it, as if in a dream.
I also forgot the passage of time.
"I cannot believe this! Not only are you cutting independent study time, but you go out and eat a mountain of sugar?!" Mom exclaimed.
Waiting for me when I hurried back to my room was Mother. She looked very scary. As soon as she saw my face through the window, she dragged me into my room, shouted at Trey and Chenya to never come back, and slammed the window shut.
Mother peppered me with questions-Who were they? How long have you known them? What were you doing? Why did you do that? and I answered them honestly. I thought that if 1 lied to her any more than I had already, she would stop talking to me.
"I see. Those two hoodlums must have incited this behavior. This is exactly why you must never play with children who have barely been educated ever again!" she demanded.
"I'm sorry. I'm very sorry, Mother! I promise, it will never happen again!” I pleaded. My nose prickled, my eyes grew hot, and tears started to flow. Not because I was scared of Mother, but because the mere thought of how things would be from now on made me impossibly sad. "So please, just let me see them—"
"Be quiet! This is your fault for breaking the rules," Mother said, and locked the window.
When I think back on it, that lock was only open for a month or two at most. I'm sure I couldn't have hidden my bad behavior for too long. All that was left for me was what was right. At the end of my foolish act, one lesson was clear: Break the rules, and even fun will be taken from you.
That's why I absolutely had to obey Mother's rules.
After that, my life became much more regimented, and Mother's gaze became even stricter. I adhered unerringly to a curriculum without independent study time. I vowed to never break Mother's rules again. After all, she was the most accomplished mother in the city, and therefore, the most correct. Yes. My mother was always correct.
But... Mom?
Why? Why did my heart hurt so much? I wanted to eat a tart, if only on my birthday. Why did I feel this way even though I knew it was wrong?
The truth is, I didn't want to study all the time. I wanted to play outside all day long. Hey, Mom, you know what? Croquet hoops are only this big. Trey and Chenya told me my shot was amazing. They said they couldn't believe it was my first time playing. Aah, I wished I could see them again. I wondered what they were doing now. I hadn't even gotten to say goodbye. Maybe they'd already forgotten me. I wanted to talk about that day. I wanted loads more friends I could laugh and play with.
It hurts. I study, I obey the rules, but my heart is always hurting. It actually keeps getting worse. I try to claw it out, I try to throw it up, but the prickling pain continues, It hurts, it's so, so hard, and I don't know what I'm supposed to do about it.
Tell me, Mom. What rule do I need to follow to make this pain go away?
Riddle!
Someone's calling me.
Mom? Maybe it's Mom. I hope it is. I would be so happy if Mom called out to me like this, so gently, to desperately, so indiscreetly
But it's not. I know it's not her.
So who is it then?

Can you compile a list of what the manga Yu's names are and what the meanings they have to do with their characters
Sure Let's start with Yuuken
Tumblr media
Yuu(雄) means male or excellent.
This is very self-explanatory. Yuuken's appearance is highly masculine in design, and excellent refers to his superb kendo skills and leadership ability.
Ken (剣) means sword.
Much like the previous kanji I explained, this is self-explanatory; the sword references Yuuken being a kendo swordsman.
Now for Yuuka,
Tumblr media
Yuu(悠) means quiet, calm, leisurely, composed, distant, permanence.
Her name was a lot more difficult since the kanji barely goes into details that elaborate on her personality, so it's up to me what the interpretations could possibly mean for her.
For the first kanji, I can make a few guesses about what it could mean. I find that it references the fact that Yuuka's impassive and cold expression, and how Yuuka seems unruffled by all that is happening, and doesn’t lose her composure when faced with strange situations
ka (河) means River I find this unusual since I couldn’t guess what it has to do with her character. I would assume it can mean that she is calm like a river, or it can refer to Leona’s UM turns everything to sand, which can be meant to highlight Yuuka being Leona’s foil as seen in the kanji. It might reference to Yuuka’s strength, being a reference to the strength and power of a river
Next up, Yuuta,
Tumblr media
Yuu(宥) means to forgive, to pardon, soothe, calm, and pacify.
There is nothing to be said about it because Yuuta is the most kind and compassionate, and merciful person in the way he treats others, showing understanding and kindness to others by giving them food, and worrying about their well-being. He can be the embodiment of mercy that Azul lacks in book 3
Ta(太) means big, fat, great. An obvious reference to his body shape
Last but not least Yuuna,
Tumblr media
Yuu (結) means tie, fasten, join, organize.
Her interest in fashion and her aspirations to be a fashion model
na (菜) means vegetable, greens.
This refers to her background as a rice farmer.
So the kanji is mostly picked out to reference the yuu’s personalities, appearances, and backgrounds.

can you make a list of the possibilities of the Manga Yu’s next name is going to be?
Here,
Female:
Yua
Yue
Yui
Yukiyo
Yukue
Yūko
Yumi
Yūnagi
Yuno
Yūbi
Yūho
Male:
Yūdai

Yūkichi
Yuhiko
Yūsaku
Yūsei
Yūshi
Yūsuke
Yutaka
Yūtarō
Yūto
Yūzō
Unisex:
Yuki
Yuma
Yuri
Yuzuki
I didn’t list all the Japanese names starting with “Yu” so I narrowed it down to the names with two kanji, there need to be two syllables since the other manga yuu’s all had two kanji in their names. However, I doubt the team is going to add more than two kanjis since three kanji would be difficult to read so two is more common and simple.
Since the manga Yu’s come from Japan it makes sense that the names would follow the same Japanese formula, when it comes to deciding what Yu’s name is going to be the split part “Yu” and add another Japanese syllable at the end like with Yuken, Yuka, Yuta, and Yuna. Yuka and Yuna's second syllables come from common prefixes of Japanese girl's names
Common prefixes of Japanese girl names
e
ko
yo
ka
ki
ho
mi
na
ne
no
ri
me
ko
Common prefixes of Japanese Boy’s Name
ya
o
ou
ki
ta
shi
ji
to
ma
dai
hei
ro
suke
taro
hiro
maru
hiko
Yuken comes off as unusual as a Japanese name in English but there's a reason why Yuken works well as a name in Japanese, it is because it's spelled with the same reading in the kanjis.

Speaking of Crowley is a suspicious theory. It's revealed in-game that Crowley did tell the OB parents about their overblots, but he didn’t go into detail about why they overblotted. It's like he is keeping those details hidden on purpose.
I think Crowley is keeping information from the parents on purpose, he didn’t tell me about the blot crystals until book 6 which leads me to believe he is doing the same thing with the parents, you might say that Crowley is keeping the details hidden from the parents because he cares about them while this may seem like he cares about the students but if I look back this is not the case. that is best seen in the way he reacts to the ob not taking preventative measures not to let the ob happen.
When he spoke to MC and the others after Riddle ob he said he dreaded Riddle losing his life. Still, to pay attention he only referred to Riddle specifically not the other students caught up in Riddle's ob or even dreaded if they are to be hurt or killed which leads me to believe he doesn’t care about the students too much only the OB victims especially when he does worry about the other students it's only that he's worried that it might damage nrc reputation.
Crowley is doing everything to make sure the OB students stay at school. He needs them at school for his own reasons, and I believe it's related to the Great Seven.

Is there an example that implies that Crowley is one of the contributing factors in the behaviors of NRC students?
You mean this part of the manga,
Tumblr media
This first scene demonstrated how he willingly endangered students for his own selfishness.
Tumblr media
He actually looks down on the students, views them as pea-brained fools that he can wrap around his finger.
Tumblr media
There is a lot of manipulation in his behavior. This is seen best in how he coerced Yu to stop the study guide scheme or he would cut their food expenses its obvious who has a lot of power here.
Tumblr media
Yuu has no choice but to accept, even knowing how risky it is.
Crowley is one of the sources of the problems in NRC. Other than Crowley's attitude, it's how the dark mirror selected its students; those are both contributing factors in the NRC students' current behavior
Tumblr media
You said it, Jack.
The manga artist did a good job of illustrating his untrustworthiness and highlighting that he is the real source of the problems in NRC.

is there more proof of that?
theres something really fishy at the end of book 6, Crowley’s line of “I’m truly glad that you–ah, that is, ALL of you–made it back to the school safe and sound,” was orginally refering to Grim, on back at school thats proof that he needs Grim for something back at inside school that last line feels as if Crowley was stopping himself or he would accidentally reveal his plans.
Even though he largely treated mc and Grim as an afterthought because he isn’t interested in anything but the great seven, this line here reveals that he does need Grim for his plans, but hides. If one thing is for sure, when Crowley said that, he sounded glad because his plans would go along smoothly.

Note
do you think crowley has plans for grim?
Somehow, as I read a list compiling Crowley's inducing the overblot and the other selection process that allowed me to attend without the dark mirror, I had the feeling that he allowed Grim and McC to attend as one student for his plans.
I did say that Crowley knows how to get Mc back home, and the old enrollment method in NRC that doesn’t require the dark mirror, he knew that the enrollment method would send them back, but he doesn’t say anything. Instead, he is waiting for the right moment to spring up.
it's obvious that Crowley doesn’t care about Grim as he does with the great 7, but it's possible that he needed them for his plans, or maybe not, since in the game it's obvious that he doesn’t care about them or even tries to help them.
If you think back on the post done by Yuurei’s post, Crowley renovated NRC to be a villain's school and would choose students based on the spirit of those villains, since it focused on villains, not on Crowley would not care about them. Seeing both MC and grim as an afterthought, not part of his NRC.
But if he does need Grim for his plans, then Crowley often reminds mc to keep an eye on Grim because he needs him for something.
The reason why he allowed them to attend as one student is that they would grow close, and that closeness is why Grim would form an attachment, making Mc the catalyst for Grim's ob. Crowley is known to do this with the other ob, and he would do this in the beginning. Crowley could know about Grim’s identity, and the truth aside from Mc would be one of the main catalysts for his ob. Though he might be a fan of the great seven, I don’t think he cares about the ones that are twisted from well-being. He called them exceptional, but only because of how central they are to his plans.

Note
When I read that the posts that NRC was not a villain's school before, I find that there's another layer to Vil’s comment in book 2 that "reeks of unconscious bias".
Yes, this adds another layer in regards to Crowley; it's no secret that Crowley is a fan of the big seven. Crowley does things that largely favor the great seven and himself. This contributes to the student's behavior in NRC because he is largely focused on the big seven rather than anything else.

how to you think mc revealed to be a student chosen by something else affect their relationship with grim?
If you think back on one of the event stories where it starred Stitch and Grim gets jealous of him, the reason Grim is jealous of Stitch isn’t just because of how capable Stitch is without magic, but also because of how easily he gets Mc and with the rest to warm up to him. This reveals his true motives: All Grim wants is love and affection from other people.
The realization that MC was a student all along, chosen by NRC, would force Grim to realize that MC didn't need to depend on Grim to attend, and come to realize that they were largely dependent on MC to attend NRC. This would force Grim to confront his dependence on mc, which would put a knife to his own self-esteem.
This would make Grim realize that he hasn’t done anything or worked hard to achieve anything, and that they are largely dependent on MC. Grim was clinging to MC to avoid confronting the truth, confronting the fact that if MC leaves, they would be left with nothing, and confronting his loneliness and fear of McC leaving them alone.
There are many ideas on how finding out that MC was chosen by something else to attend NRC would add another conflict to MC and Grim's relationship

As I read these two posts, it got me thinking, what if NRC was not a villain school founded on something else, but shifted and renovated to go in the villain's direction? And that ramshackle is a dorm, but has been abandoned in the renovation to focus on villains.
If Ranshackle was a dorm that was founded over the original headmaster's philosophy, then it must have been abandoned during the renovation to include the villains. That would make sense.
Book 8 would focus on Ramshakle. If the 7 books are centered around the great 7, then 8 would center around Ramshackle, the bearer of the original philosophy. If that's the case, then it would answer why MC wasn’t chosen by the dark mirror. It's because MC was chosen by something else in according with the original philosophy
where the dark mirror focused on sorting students based on the attributes of the great 7 MC was sorted into ramshackle based on attributes related to it. If it wasn’t Crowley who summoned them or the dark mirror, then something else did that was related to the dreams that they were having. This comes to mind: the vision from the prologue and the voice. Don’t get go of that hand; it was related to whatever it was.  There are more mysteries the more we go. I believe that this will be important in how it plays into the part of book 8 because book 8 would answer the mysteries sprinkled throughout the game.
in the twst Official Fanbook vol 1 ramshackle took inspiration from “Thru the Mirror.”  that would explain why the ramshakle dream looks like the same room from thru the mirror and mickey described the event resembling from thru the mirror theres a good chance that ramshackle was twisted from mickey mouse and the sorcerers apprentice, when the legend of
Sorcerer's Apprentice, I found that it was likely to act as foreshadowing of what he is twisted from. That grim is twisted from Mickey from the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Throughout the game, Grim is dependent on MC to attend NRC. If the fact that MC was, in fact, a student chosen by something else that means that MC was a student at NRC all along and never needed to depend on Grim to attend.
This is how MC would be a full-fledged student rather than one student if it were revealed that they are a student chosen by the NRC. If ortho becoming independent foreshadows grim and MC becoming two students, then it is brilliant writing

I think I cracked down the pattern in cater and treys dreams its in how they care about riddle.
The big hint is that they are not dissatisfied with dorm life; they are just worried about Riddle. Their dreams are largely focused on how they both care about riddle and want to nurture riddle in a safe environment, one that riddle is robbed of growing up.
Cater recognizes that he acted as a bystander, which contributed to most of the problems in book 1, and saw the flaws in his hands-off approach. This then leads to Cater encouraging Ace in his dream.
I think I know now that what it is is in how they needed to know what needed to properly support riddles. What riddle needed was unconditional love and concern, and that was their role in Riddle's life.

Note
there was a post somewhere and crowley and ramshackle and it buys into the theory that crowley is more sus than he looks
You must have meant this, and yes, when I read this, it gave me a whole new dimension on the theory.
I had a feeling that the dark mirror didn’t choose mc but something else. At first, I initially assumed it was Crowley who did it because he needed mc for their plans, but when this post came out, I have a feeling that something else summoned them
There was a post that talked about the selection process. If Kalim was able to attend, that means that the dark mirror doesn’t actually choose its students; something else did
If Crowley is surprised to learn that Mc couldn’t use magic, this means he knows about the old selection process before the dark mirror was put into place, and that he didn’t predict the old method would be used. It must not have been a coincidence that he placed Mc in Ramshackle dorm
its true that crowley needs the mc for his plans that is why crowley didn’t kick them out but also its because he knows that they are students chosen by something else and if him telling mc, deuce and ace about the blot crystals are any indication than it implied crowley knows more than what he was letting on.
There was a hint in Lilia’s dream that it wasn’t always called NRC but something else. This could be why Lilia didn’t recognize the name of the same school; it's because it wasn’t called that in his dream. Another hint is what Lilia said: "that history has been twisted to suit someone's agenda". I find this idea refers to Crowley.
The post elaborated that NRC was not always a villain school until Crowley revamped it to suit his own agenda. I pointed out before that Crowley is not entirely truthful, and this can be proof of that
