December Article Drive

Good evening! I am happy to (somewhat belatedly) announce the beginning of this week's article drive, spanning from the 1st to the 7th of the month. During this period, we get together and set writing goals for ourselves, encouraging each other and sharing our accomplishments all the while! Its completely optional, but if you join us I highly recommend taking part in this one or next month's.

In my case, I've set as a goal that I should rewrite the page for the Vernarcan Federation, one of the cornerstones of Silky Way lore but also one of the most outdated article on the old site. Work on that has begun. I also wanted to remaster my old article about the Alorath, the first species I designed, and I have done so! I'm quite proud of it, and it is now the second longest species article on the wiki following fellow account manager CosmicSmoothie's Dragons article in the Chromagaia scope. I still haven't gotten to Teralla and I dont know if I'll be able to :(

New Scopes!

Good morning! I'm here to announce some new scopes that were brought to the community recently.

Starting self-servingly, we would like to welcome the Silky Way scope to the community. Originating with my own five-year-old ramblings about the best solar system to live in, it evolved over the years into an epic-scale grounded sci-fi universe with many collaborators. Until recently, it was exclusive to its own fandom wiki, but we've started mirroring it to the community site. All are welcome to join me in creating it. You can find it here.

The next scope is a completely new one, known tentatively as Conduit Zero. While nothing actually exists on the community site yet, ZeroAlpha's long descriptions in their channel tell me that this scope will become a high fantasy sort of universe spanning across all of time, with possibly supernatural elements. I can't wait to see this one!

Hey all! Welcome to the OFFICIAL blog of the writers at Amaranth Legacy. We are a community of creatives, primarily writers, who love to get together and share our ideas with each other. We have an author-oriented self-hosted website to post on, a lovely assortment of artists and worldbuilders, and a 10-year legacy we are building on with passion and respect. And we're not planning on stopping any time soon.

This blog is primarily focused on news and outreach from our community, but sometimes we will post articles or other content we are particularly proud of.

This account is currently run by mods Smoothie and Minmus, whose posts will be tagged with with #mod smoothie and #mod minmus respectively.

News updates (we'll try to be regular with these I promise) will be tagged with #amaranth news. Any particular events or calls for outreach will be tagged with #amaranth outreach. And of course, any content from our sites or members will be part of #amaranth hall of fame. All tags will be on the bottom of this post for easy navigation.
