Feeling great about the end of the day! Started with breakfast and my skinny brew coffee. Even posted an inspirational post. Then it hit. I had a moment. I looked up something and sadly it was not the answer I needed. I cried and was on the floor crying out to God. I reached out to a few friends and the prayers that came back filled me. Even in the cloudy day, I look up and there was sunshine! How I needed that. That led me to reach out to my sista, and see if she wanted to walk. I am so excited because I had so much energy to work off! We were walking at a great pace and within a short amount of time I look at her and asked, want to jog? Yes, I had the energy, desire, strength to jog. This was my first time jogging in months! I had torn cartilage and in March right before the world had to close I had surgery. The weeks after I have been nervous to start jogging, and today walk/jog turned into 4 miles! I am keeping it real that not every day will be good, but each day can turn into a good day! My sister Rad has that posted in her office and I remembered that. Today my spirit was attempted to be broken, but Gods grace was bigger. Today I worked hard and saw results! Today is a good day! Take that, I stood up and punched the enemy in the face and I was not alone. I am excited about working hard and seeing results.

I am not rushing through 2020
One of the things that I have noticed about life or I should say that I have learned is that I do not want to rush the days that I have been given.  I believe that the precautions that have been put in place are to attempt to ultimately help the people but more over let us be honest to help our healthcare system get to a point that it becomes utter devastation.
I have been quiet watching reactions from people, reading what they have to say and how they react. I have personally been drawn to see things for myself.  I respect that government had to come in and make decisions as the people were not making wise decisions on their own.  I also respect that even the government knows that the people must begin to make decisions. You see if government makes all decisions for the people then the people are no longer in a democracy. Whatever one may believe you all should be grateful that you live in a country that permits people to say the most insane things and still hold on to their heads and other body parts that they hold precious.
During this time for me personally I am grateful that I live in a country that permits me to be free to make decisions.  I live in a place that I can use my free will. Let us be honest that the free will that I have been given I do not always use wisely, but who on this planet does? This time that some see as a punishment, I get to see it as a gift. What a gift this is. I have not been able to work since March, I finally got a phone call from Unemployment last week (trying since March 16th), and now claiming weeks with no money to be paid out, and these major acts have forced me to look at myself and look on the path that I have been.  As much as I love what I do, there are people who own the corporation who have not helped the ones that work for them.  I am not in their heads, I am not in headquarters to understand but I know that I have watched my teammates worry, suffer the same things I have mentioned and right now holding to hope to see better days.  I have seen other corporations (not perfectly) but still help their employees with payments, checking in on them and even filing the unemployment for their employees. That has spoken volumes to me.
I do not blame big corporation; I do not blame the government because it is not their responsibility to completely take care of me.  Permanent free handouts are not the solution.  We should be a people that work hard for the things that we need, make sure that we work on giving ourselves plans to take care of ourselves and those who we love.  There is nothing wrong with temporary help, that is why systems were put in place.  Now as I write this, I know there are systems for those who are hurt, elderly, truly uncapable for certain aspects of life and that is not what I speak of.  During this time what I have learned about myself is that I do not want to be at the mercy of anyone else as long as I can help it  What I mean is that I don’t want to be having to pray that my unemployment kicks in (even though since I was 16 years old I have been working), I don’t want to wait for government to help me out and even the corporation I work for.  I need to take charge of my future.
So, 2020 is a gift. 2020 is a time to reinvent ourselves, see what we can change about ourselves and even take control of our future. I have three major things that I want to do to make my future better.  I will not share all three, but I will share one.  I have admired for a long time those who go and try a business venture. Whether that be opening a brick and mortar store, or an online store, a service of any kind or with a company that is established and begin to sell products.  I have wanted the extra income but, there was a part of me that has enjoyed the box I live in.  Especially the part of going to work, doing what I need to accomplish and go home.  The thing is at this time this part of my life has been removed.  Now what? Now I take a leap of faith.  I join the ranks of those who found a product they enjoy and want to inform others about it and expand networks.  For me this comes in the form of a company that was established in 2001 called It Works! Kind of a bold statement do not you think. For the past six months if not more I was following someone (sounds creepy lol) that sold products from this company and I watched their social media, I began to investigate the company.  The person I did not believe was a right fit to be my mentor.  However, as God and his timing is wonderful, the right person has come into my life to guide me and help me achieve some things that I aspire for.
That post from last night was the first step. The products for IT Works come with good reviews and bad. Ultimately though what I see are results from everyday people.  Notice I said results, not miracles.  Yes, the products have enticing names, but like anything else in life what we put in what we want is what we get.  So, this is my leap of faith. This is my first step to a new adventure of three. This is me taking control and take a chance and say, “What a ride, what a ride”. For those who may get sick of me I am sorry.  I will be talking about this along with other passions I have, and I hope that it helps others evaluate your own lives and take a plunge towards something you have dreamt about.
Follow your dreams. Make a better life.  Make this world better.  We live every day, let us make the most of it.

NASA’s Space Launch System gets a lot of debate, and the program has yet to be given a firm direction.
But lets be positive and look at some potential missions it could preform!
•Here is shown a small Lunar station that could provide a home port for a reusable Lunar Lander or missions beyond Lunar space.

Space Launch System Explained
NASA unveiled its new rocket for deep space exploration - the Space Launch System - on Sept. 14, 2011. The rocket will launch astronauts into space on NASA’s Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and serve as the go-to booster for U.S. missions to explore asteroids and, eventually, Mars.
This infographic above shows how the Space Launch System will work. The first test flight of the new rocket, which will be more powerful than NASA’s mighty Saturn V moon rocket, is set for 2017.

NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, Louisiana, is a true rocket factory. Here, they start with raw, unfinished aluminium and end with launch vehicles. The S-IC first stage of the Saturn V Moon rocket and the Space Shuttle external tanks were assembled here. Now, new machinery is housed under the 43 acre indoor facility, busily manufacturing the core stage of the new Space Launch System (SLS).
In the first photo, you see a series of robotic friction-stir-welders used to manufacture fore and aft dome sections of the SLS core stage cryogenic propellant tank. The second photo displays the Gore Weld Tool, used to join curved panels of aluminium together into whole domes. The Circumferential Dome Weld Tool, shown in the third and fourth photos, fixes the completed dome section to a ring. One such ring may be viewed in a previous post (click here to view). Next, the dome travels to the Plug Weld Tool, shown in the fifth and sixth photos. This tool fills a hole left by the friction-stir-welding process. The domes shown in these photos are not flight articles. Rather, they are confidence pieces which undergo testing to prove that this method of manufacture works.
The cryogenic propellant tank of the SLS core stage is the same diameter as the shuttle external tank, which is no accident. This allows Michoud to reuse infrastructure. Photos eight and nine show barrel panel sections on a storage rack formerly used on the shuttle program. These panels are welded together to form a complete barrel using the Vertical Weld Center, which I covered in a previous post (click here to view). Several complete barrel section confidence articles are shown in the final photo.
These photographs show the facility as it was on June 30, 2014. I must thank NASA Michoud Assembly Facility for allowing Project Habu to tour these components up close and personal.

Sometimes human-made rocks are kinda disgusting; plastic and trash stuck together. Other times, they’re kinda neat. This is one of the latter.
On March 11, Orbital Sciences and NASA Test-fired a 5-segment solid rocket booster that will form part of the next generation “Space Launch System” heavy lift rocket. The rocket that was tested was on its side and aimed towards a large pile of rocks to make sure the exhaust was contained and to keep the area protected in the event of any major issues.
The heat from that rocket engine melted super-heated some of the rock behind it, pushing it above its melting point. The molten components rapidly cooled, quenching to a glass with clasts of the surrounding rock inside it and laced with bubbles from gases that escaped while the rock was molten.
This piece of the cooled rock is about the size of a quarter.

A United Launch Alliance Delta IV Heavy rocket with NASA’s Orion spacecraft mounted atop is seen after the Mobile Service Tower was finished rolling back early on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 37, Florida.
The next launch opportunity for the Orion flight test is 7:05 a.m. EST on Friday, Dec. 5. The spacecraft will orbit Earth twice, reaching an altitude of approximately 3,600 miles above Earth before landing in the Pacific Ocean. No one will be aboard Orion for this flight test, but the spacecraft is designed to allow us to journey to destinations never before visited by humans, including an asteroid and Mars.

Ever wonder who astronauts are talking to when they say “Houston”? Here we are. The “White Flight Control Room” at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, housed Mission Control for every shuttle flight after STS-70, which launched in July of 1995. It was renovated in 2014 for future use with the SLS program, which will ultimately fly to Mars.
It may be interesting to compare this modern facility with the Mercury Control Center, which I covered in a previous post (click here to view). The Mercury Control Center, and the inception of “Mission Control”, was headed by Christopher Craft, whose name now graces the side of the building which houses the White Flight Control Room.
While standing in places like the White Flight Control Room, I often think, “If these walls could talk~”. I didn’t have that feeling here. This was my generation’s flight control room. I followed the drama that unfolded here via live TV. Instead, I thought to myself about what future drama might happen here. I can’t wait to see.
So, there you have it. When astronauts are standing on Mars, and begin a radio transmission with the word, “Houston”, you’ll know what room they’re speaking to.

Artist Concept: Space Launch System Rollout to Launchpad (NASA, SLS, 07/15/14) by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center on Flickr.
Tramite Flickr: This artist concept shows NASA’s Space Launch System, or SLS, rolling to a launchpad at Kennedy Space Center at night. SLS will be the most powerful rocket in history, and the flexible, evolvable design of this advanced, heavy-lift launch vehicle will meet a variety of crew and cargo mission needs. In addition to carrying the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, SLS will transfer important cargo, equipment and science experiments to deep space, providing the nation with a safe, affordable and sustainable means to expand our reach in the solar system. It will allow astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft to explore multiple deep-space destinations including an asteroid and ultimately Mars. Image credit: NASA/MSFC
