America is a huge fan of Back to the Future, and he invited Lithuania to see the trilogy with him at the theater on the 30th anniversary. America cosplayed as Marty, and Lithuania as Doc.

Alfred has one tattoo. He got it in the 70's as a protest to the War in Vietnam. It's a piece sign filled in with the stars and stripes on his right hip. Almost every nation who sees it makes fun of him for it because it's so tacky, and he's actually embarrassed to show it to anyone.

Toris loves it. America is the only nation to have a tattoo not of war or intimidation, but of peace.

During Toris's stay in America in 1920, Alfred would often burst into the house one random day and announce that they were going on a "road trip!".  He dragged Toris across the nation by car, by train, by horseback, and sometimes they even rode bikes or walked. They went everywhere, and it seemed so spontaneous that Toris never realized Alfred had carefully planned each one of them.

Even though Lithuania appreciates Alfred looking out for him and being protective of him, sometimes it reminds him of the way that Russia was over-protective of him. This is a very touchy line that is NOT to be crossed, and often it's hard for Alfred to make the distinction between being sweet and being controlling. The two are very open about it - Alfred wants Toris to let him know the moment he feels he's being treated like a subordinate rather than an equal.

Alfred always saw Toris as his best friend - Toris was the one who wanted to get into a relationship. He had grown dangerously attached to Russia, and he didn’t trust himself to stay away unless he had another relationship to keep himself from running back to his old master. He truly loves Alfred, but he’s too afraid to tell him the darker reason for their relationship.

Whenever Toris and Alfred are apart and see something that the other would like, they go out of their way to buy that item for the other. This usually results in either one of them dragging an extra suitcase just filled with presents to the other's country.

When Alfred was trying to learn Lithuanian, he made little notecards with words on them and stuck them to their corresponding objects (e.g taping the notecard with "durys" written on it to the door). Toris didn't know whether to be angry or flattered when he came home to a house with paper taped up everywhere.

Headcanon: Alfred always calls Toris at midnight (7 am in Lithuania). That way Toris’s voice is the last thing Alfred hears before he goes to bed and Alfred’s is the first Toris hears in the morning.

When Alfred and Toris go to the park Alfred will always buy Toris something new from like the little cart vendors that they have at the parks - like, a food he hasn't eaten before, or like, a keychain he's never seen before - just /stuff/, cuz he wants Toris to have things that he can hold onto whenever they're apart.

America and Lithuania once had a pie eating contest versus each other. It ended up with Lithuania in bed for two days due to how many times he vomited. America wouldn’t stop apologizing

Their favorite thing to do together (besides cuddling) is playing basketball. They're so evenly matched that they almost always have to call it a tie.

Alfred has about a thousand nicknames for Toris, but none of them ever stick around for more than one day.

Toris is very masochistic, but Alfred prefers to keep their sex relatively vanilla. They use light bondage as their middle ground. In an effort to respect Alfred's boundaries, Toris never asks him to do anything  demeaning, and tries to make Alfred's experience as a dom as good as it could possibly be.
