OOC: Blog ---> Archive

[ So just as a heads up, I’m gonna be archiving this blog soon (maybe tonight even) as I’m not happy with the slump my muse for Amelia has been, as well as an arrange of other things that has affected my activity here, but I’ve mostly wrapped that up as water under the bridge. I’m also rebooting her as well, while saving a few important relationships (EX: Blimelia ), she’s gonna have her mind wiped of mostly everyone she’s ever come into contact with, as well as most events. You’re more than welcome to build up relationships again with me though! Not sure if I’ll link the new blog here, but I might send it to a select few people I;d love to stay mutuals with. c: ]

"If you did have a baby, she'd be named something close to one of you right?"

   “If we’re speaking hypothetically, and I really mean hypothetically...maybe? I really don’t know. This is kinda one of those ‘in the moment’ sort of things that you can’t really plan ahead...”

   “Like, I know when I was younger I may have been overenthusiastic and probably already had this part of my life all mapped out but...trust me, I’m pretty clueless about it.”

   “I’m sure if that I ever have a baby, I’d give a lot of thought to her or his name. Promise! Totally don’t have that list of baby names stashed somewhere nope not at all.”

   “Very funny, now take your crappy jokes and run before I smash you both!”

Day 1: Umbrella

   “Oh no, you are not serious right now!”

   Amelia immediately rushed over to a nearby window, as if the rain pouring down from the sky at a rapid pace was just a figment of her imagination. Clearly it wasn’t, and the female hedgehog was completely caught off guard from the sudden shift in the weather. Before she and Blitz had walked into their movie, the weather was sunny without a single cloud in sight. Needless to say, she was completely unprepared for it. Down from not having an umbrella on hand, to her outfit for the day. As she stood there, contemplating on how to resolve this issue, Blitz merely walked up from behind, not understanding what made Amelia so upset. Considering she was just gushing about the movie not even 5 minutes prior.    “What’s got your quills in a bunch Ames? It’s jus’ a lil’ rain.” he stated, earning him a small glare from Amelia.    “You’re the one to talk, Mr. Hydrophobia.” She retorted, huffing slightly as she turned her attention back towards the climate outside, “And it’s not just a little rain, it’s absolutely pouring outside! Does it look like we’re prepared for this?” Amelia continued to remark, facing back towards Blitz as she was pointing towards her outfit.

   “Ames, babe, chill. I got this.” Blitz gently interrupted her, reaching towards the back of his quills and digging around in them, before he pulled out their saving grace: an umbrella.    “You...you took one before we went out?” Amelia asked, mildly surprised. Blitz nodded in response, sighing slightly before giving her a sheepish smile.    “I made sure to check the weather report before we left home, didn’t really want t’ have this day ruined y’know. I figured I should since you were so excited about tonight.” He explained, a soft blush growing on his cheeks after admitting he was planning ahead. Amelia may have not realized it, but he did sorta give it his all when they had their date nights. Which were a rarity given their...unique situation.

   “You can always help yourself to my jacket if you get cold too...” He looked away, averting his eyes when he struggled to get that last offer out. His cheeks resembling tomatoes at that point. His concentration broke when he felt her arms softly wrap around his torso, looking back down only to see her brilliant jade eyes smiling up towards him.

  “You’re such a big sap, you know that right?” She muttered softly, giggling when he started sputtering from her response.    He never really did cease to amaze her, and probably never will.

   “You could say something like that, yes.”

   It’s been a while since she’d done this same song and dance with a younger version of herself, Amelia wasn’t sure what to do next. describe her life story, give advice? suggest a game of cards? Her mind kept throwing out suggestions, but when Amy made her curiosity known, it made Amelia’s choice relatively easy.    “I’m more or less what you could become like, kinda like a possible ending out of the thousands that are probably out there? It’s up to chance really, and what choices you make that really effect your future.”

        Upon hearing her speak, Amy snapped out of her reverie.

“Uh, hi!" 

        Now she realized how rude she must’ve been. From the looks of         things, there wasn’t a reason for her to be hostile or anything. She seemed         …nice. Well, she was her right? So of course she’s nice…if that’s how it         worked? Amy gave a sheepish smile, albeit apologetic as well.

"A little, yeah…are you my alternate or something? I remember hearing about those…” she trailed off.

"Sorry to make you worry, Amelia. I had Sonic on the brain again..“ Who can honestly blame her though? The child’s overly optimistic outlook drove her to seek out Sonic, plus Amy was known for pulling stunts like this from time to time.

   “I’m probably more worried on how he made you go M.I.A for 3 weeks, Sonic on the brain doesn’t seem like a happy thing to have...” Amelia muttered, coughing briefly before going back to her previous demeanor.

   “Anyways! Glad I found you! I was saving some birthday treats we could both share, I got a lot from some of my friends.” She announced, pulling out a small white bag and holding it out in front of herself so Amy could take a gander at it.
