Q: Until now, you have played many roles having fresh and young image. How was your mother’s reaction when she saw her son transforming into a sexy man like that?

A: She told me it was interesting. I mean she always just said it was ‘interesting’ or ‘funny’. She’s never said detailed comments like “You should do this or that”. It’s like that since the old days. From the time I was a child actor, she’d never said anything nor come to my work’s place. However, when I am depressed, she’d told me “It’ll be alright” and quietly support me.  That’s my mother.

Harumama surely gave him independence ne ^^ But I’ve always felt that he is definitely a mama’s boy. Remember the time he said his mama is ‘kawaii’ on a talk show or the time he shared how he used to call her ‘Mayumi-chan’ in Haruma Collection?
