My best guess as to why is because fans are just so accustomed to characters with split personalities, like Bruce/Hulk and Marc/Steven/Jake, they assume Bob/Sentry/Void are the same. And, given that Marvel movies aren’t really known for their ✨cinematic poetry✨, to see such a literal shift in Bob’s character they naturally assumed Sentry/Void are separate to him, rather than personifications of Bob’s mania and depression.
