I like math, mythology, science fiction, theater, puppets, cookies, pretty dresses, Ikea... the list of things I don't like is much shorter. I like to read and write, so I'm here, doing that. Please do ask me anything.

I know how to solve this! The rectangle image on the right is actually a smart guide, assuming all the given angles in the left image are right angles. The height is 9 the length is 12. You can rearrange the unmarked pieces and the marked pieces to be across from each other in a parallelogram.

scars in real life: so I was trying to open macaroni sauce with a paring knife

I whole-heartedly agree! Also, I would like to see historical events that have no alien influence; just humans being evil with the available technology or mother nature being an unstoppable force.
Things Classic Who had that Modern Who needs more of:
Scary-looking friendly aliens
Companions who aren't humans from the modern time period (I.e. aliens or human from the future/past)
Idiot companions
Medieval planets

Please, do not discount what another one man did in 2016 by blocking the nominations from Obama. Mitch has been doing vile things for much too long.

I noticed that 13 = 2 + 2(4) + 3 So, then 40 = 7 + 2(star) + 9 Using subtraction, 24 = 2(star) Star = 12, and 12 + 9 = heart 19 + 21 = 40

Please remember that in 2016, Trump's campaign convinced many people to become first time voters. Trump did not become a Republican, he ran on the Republican ticket. When Democrats and progressives and grass-roots level organizations vote, and vote for local representatives every two years and not just in presidential elections, then good progress will be made. Conservatives win when despair has beaten hope.
Trump isn't guaranteed to win this year's presidential election because he's been shot at. In 2020, Trump supporters voted in heavy numbers, but guess what? They still lost because we outvoted them.
Do I want to vote for Biden? No, but I will since no third-party candidate has a winning chance, and I don't want Trump to be president again. Unless y'all are gonna overthrow the American political system and government, we need to vote.
It's normal to be terrified about this presidential election, but don't allow it to stop you from voting and trying to stop that orange fucker from returning to office.

I'd assert that most of the troll scripts work as fraggle scripts. If we could bring back fraggle rock... I'm all for it.
I mean, let's have new fraggles... the redesigns and recyled songs on the 2020 show make me miss the old show too much.

what if… trolls but…. fraggles ??

I grew up with a parent that had a very long list of food allergies. Going out to a restaurant was a special treat for us kids (like reward for all As on a report card special treat). Never crossed my mind that a cook or waiter would purposefully mess-up an order.

DO NOT DO THIS.
This makes me so angry.
If you work in a movie theater and you do this I have no respect for you.
My younger brother is Type 1 Diabetic.
When we go to a movie theater, we always get him diet soda. If he were to get regular when we asked for diet, we would not give him the insulin he would need for it. If that happens, his blood sugar level could go so high he could go into a coma, go blind, or even die.
If somebody gave him regular soda instead of diet without telling us, that person could be responsible for a nine-year-old being killed or blinded.
Just thinking about that makes me so angry. I get scared every time we take him to a movie in case the people working there saw this picture and decide to do the same thing.
Please signal boost this so people know.

Dream and Delusion
I was watching Sandman and I saw the episode with the Cereal Convention. At the end of the episode, I was thinking about it, and decided that if I were Delusion, I would be absolutely pissed at Dream after that. Delusion would say, "Hey! Stay in your lane, Dream! You can't just waltz into the real world, claim that an ambition or a wish or a delusion is a dream and then erase it. You have the ability to build whole worlds. I have to twist and shape the real one. You can give people superpowers and titles of royalty, I have to work with the skill sets and social connections they already possess. And the maintenance! Do you even care how difficult it is to maintain a delusion? But Noooo... you just walk into a theater filled with humans call their well-crafted delusions "dreams" and then use your authority to obliterate my creations. And you didn't even bother to replace what you destroyed. You left them empty -- and you know how self-destructive they get when they feel empty." Then Delusion would grumpily hope for an apology that won't come.
(Is Delusion even one of the siblings? I haven't read the comics. Doesn't matter. My point is that Dream destroyed stuff that he did not create, just by claiming those delusions were dreams)

My dad taught me that "I don't know" IS an acceptable answer. What was important was that the follow up to realizing you didn't know was the desire to find out. I have met so many smart people who will admit that they don't know something, and then reach for their phone to do some quick research. I have also met a bunch of fools who say they don't know and also don't care and that I'm the moron for even asking them the question.
Life is all about being taught that you have to tell the truth, and that "I don't know" is not an acceptable answer, and then you're asked something where you don't know what the answer is.

I'm choosing Mickey, Rory, and Rose because no one in that group makes me think "I'm gonna die while they play hero". AND none of them will make me feel guilty for suggesting we hide in a bunker.
All groups were randomized.

I have been watching Suits. I really like the relationship between Katrina and Luis. Just last night, I was watching with my husband, and they had these several scenes between Katrina and Brian. I had to close my eyes and cover my ears because I was so worried the two of them were rolling into romantic territory. My husband convinced me to keep watching, insisting that the writers were too good to do that to either of those characters. (Please, don't break my heart by telling me those two characters get together later in the season)
I think we should write more straight relationships with 2010s TV queerbait tactics. Let that man and that woman's lives be horribly intertwined, let them take bullets for the other, let them be each other's meaning but NO KISSING. They are holding each other platonically. You're crazy for reading anything romantic into it at all tbh
