You mentioned on stream that you try to sneak a heart into your signature between the "s" and "h" with the two letters making up the two halves. Well, she made the connection that it's similar to the arrow hidden in the FedEx logo between the "E" and "x" ^_^'

This, this genuinely hit me so hard in the feels.

When I first drew myself I was super nervous and had butterflies in my stomach when I posted. Cuz, like, I was showing people the real me for the first time ever. Then when I woke up to your drawing of me it was like... oh, someone actually saw me. She understood, she knew what I look like, beyond the abstract nature of pixel art. It felt so powerful, but made me feel so vulnerable at the same time.

And... I can see that perfectly in your characters. I mean, they obviously have the romantic connection on top of it. But even having a friend see you, having anyone see you for you. That's a feeling I felt as a trans person, and I'm sure you and many others have as well... but, idk... I feel like it's deeper for a system. Because of how I and many other alters present in headspace, we fundamentally can't change our outward appearance to reflect us (and because we share a body it wouldn't be fair to try).

So, I guess, I kind of thought it would be impossible to be seen for who I really am. That is... until it happened.

I'm not sure how much of this made sense. I always have a hard time translating my feelings into words.

Okay so Saturday uploads, today its one short comic later today and this: Juniper and Valerie... The characters my lovely followers named!

Juniper and Valerie are a stand in for things i don't feel like i can express myself, they are both me and neither are me, they are all my friends and my romantic interests, my fears and my desires. They are whatever i need them to be for now...but maybe one day they will get thier own full stories, who knows?

First hate comment! 🎉🤣🤣🤣

Considering all the things we talk about that people are always whining and complaining about in other spaces, "terf gets mad bi people exist" wasn't even on our bingo card lol. Especially considering how little we talk about our own sexualities.

If you're curious, she left a comment on our lumity LVW post complaining about the prominence of the bi flag... Which we were like, ok some people are weird about not conflating the two, especially for holidays. It's depicting a sapphic couple, one of whom is bi, but maybe she doesn't know that. Maybe she's still learning how to interact in queer spaces. Maybe she can be reasonable. We always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But then the first thing we saw when we looked at her blog was "F*ck off my page if you're bisexual" in her bio. Followed immediately by a bunch of biphobic and transphobic posts. So we noped out real quick x)

Remember kids: Don't engage. Block, delete, and move on. Saves you the headache. We're only making this post to mark the occasion, particularly because we thought it would come a lot sooner lol.

Suffice to say, we will not be bringing attention to any future hate. Giving bigots a voice is what gives them power. Cut out their tongues. Let them die in obscurity.

Happy Lesbian Visibility Week!

We thought it might be nice to bring back some lumity art we made a while ago... Or, I say bring back, but I don't think we ever actually posted it to tumblr 😅

This was our lock screen for a long time. We always had to hide our phone from our sibling so they wouldn't see spoilers lol.

Speaking of cute, Bubble's comics are always so heckin' cute and are a highlight of our day whenever she posts.

Ok, ok okay, I think maybe we should go down a rabbit hole of our thought prosses on this one. The thoughts are a little nebulas but I don't want them to just stay in our head.

You actually have mentioned the little square bunny being a representation of your inner thoughts. At least a couple times in fact! And that's exactly why we wanted to draw this.

So the idea started with kinda, you taking care of your inner self? Sort of a practicing self care kind of vibe. But then with the height difference it reminded us of an adult with a child. So we thought of like, an adult crossing the street with a child. You know how they do that, like, awkward lean down to hold the child's hand to help them cross safely? So that lead us to the hand holding idea. But, so, then we thought "When children are exited about something they'll take your hand and lead you somewhere." So what if the roles where reversed and it was Internal Fae leading External Fae? Like Fae being guided by her inner child.

So that's where we ended up. I think the end result conveys that idea, but I also kinda think it looks like the two of you are dancing. Which, honestly, the two of you dancing in harmony works perfectly well too. So we're happy with how it turned out either way 😁

We've been trying to keep all the artists we draw pixel art of to the same scale. Unfortunately that means not being able to do the "X" eyes (x﹏x)

Fun fact: we were having a hard time getting the folds of the skirt right, and we don't own a skirt, so we wrapped a throw blanket around ourself to use as reference. It worked surprisingly well.

We ended up hyperfocusing on this project while watching Ashe and Iris stream yesterday (which was super fun by the way).... and we ended up almost finishing it... And then we DID finish it today. So I guess we'll be posting in the morning lol.

Been slowing down with our art a bit so we don't end up hurting ourself... again.

Still working on some pixel art for Fae though. Got the posing down and about 1/3-1/2 way done with the sketch. Not sure when y'all will get to see the end result, but I can already tell it's going to be cute af.
