2 days ago the new album Common Courtesy by Florida native band A Day To Remember was released and put fans in a frenzy. After waiting two years for a record, many are saying it was so worth it. The lyrics have heart and soul put into them and the music behind the album is real genius. Well done boys!

The Summer Fest Tour Review!
Tumblr media
On Saturday August 31 ! went to The Summer Fest Tour in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and it was amazing! The show started off with one of my personal favorite bands Like The Movies. They made the crowd go wild with their music and also their cover songs. David from Breathe Carolina took the stage with them as they sang "Bad News", which really made the fans crazy. All in all it was a great performance and they Like The Movies ended the tour well.
After they performed and started the show, The Ready Set took the stage with "Young Forever". After waiting to see them for 3 years, it was a great experience finally getting to see them perform. Everyone was yelling the words and dancing the entire set and they made it such a fun atmosphere for everyone in the crowd. They also played some of their bigger songs such as "Give Me Your Hand" and "Love Like Woe", because who could forget those two?
Once The Ready Set had left the stage, it was soon occupied by T Mills. He showed off some new music and got the crowd moving to a different beat than the previous two bands. Nevertheless his performance was great and he really took control of the stage. Plus, he's super cute too if that makes a difference (;
My favorite act of the night would probably be Breathe Carolina. I saw them last year at Warped Tour and personally didn't think their performance was that good but seeing them on Saturday completely blew me out of the water. Kyle was missing due to family emergency but David didn't let that faze him. He still rocked the show, even doing a song where Jordan of The Ready Set came and sang with him. They were phenomenal, performing such hits as "Blackout" and "I.D.G.A.F.".
Soon after BC came the headlining act, We The Kings. They were incredible, having great stage presence and completely controlling the crowd. They kept their set fluctuating from old songs to new songs, fast songs as slow songs. I think that's what I loved the best about their set, no matter what they were playing the crowd was completely in tune with them.
Overall it was such a great show and I'm glad I got to go. If you had the pleasure of attending this tour, consider yourself lucky because it is a night that I personally will never forget. Great bands, great music, great night!

This week was great for music lovers! One of the main highlights was the release of the new You Me At Six single and music video "Lived A Lie". The catchy song definitely has fans in a frenzy and we can see how. It's something in a new direction for the british band and not too far off from the work they have done in the past. What do you think? Thumbs up or thumbs down? Let us know!

Our Interview With RadioDriveBy!
Tumblr media
Check out what happened when we sat with band RadioDriveBy and talked about their new single and upcoming releases!
Q: Can you explain the story behind your single “Go All Night”?
A: It's based off of nights we've had where you have the time of your life with your friends or with a girl/boy, and you don't want it to end. It's about feeling good, summertime, and enjoying the moment. Simple, but we've all had times like that.
Q: This single has a slightly different and more pop approach than your
previous release “On Your Way”, are you going to stick towards this styling of
music with newer releases?
A: We definitely are experimenting with a lot of new things and sounds, and our new music sounds different than before, yet we think we've done a good job of blending old influences with songs a lot of people can connect with. Stay tuned!
Q: With the release of your new single, fans are obviously excited for more. What’s next to come of RadioDriveBy?
A: We have plans to tour a lot the rest of this year and in 2014, as well as a new album in the future. We're working out all the details right now and making sure it's perfect when we put it out.
Q: You all are headed to Manila to play Bazooka Rocks 2, is that hard to wrap
your head around? How?
A: We had an absolutely incredible time in the Philippines. Our fans there are so sweet, and the show was probably the best/biggest we've had thus far. It was also great to see the guys and girls in all the other bands!
Q: Do you have any advice for bands out there for bands who are just starting
out and want to be in the music business?
A: Yes! Don't forget the fundamentals. Writing good songs and being great live need to come before anything else. Take time to craft your music and be able to put on a great show. The rest will come easier that way.
