Love when writers do an insane amount of unnecessary research for their fics. I follow an author that did like 8 months of intense research into 14th century Scotland so they could write smut about it, and guess what. It was some fucking incredible porn AND I learned about old Scottish politics

(A/N): I’m so glad you love my blog! <3 I know you requested some headcanons, but I had so much inspiration for an imagine... (and imagines are easier for me to write as well) I hope you’ll forgive me and love this little thing I wrote despite the change <3 

“I’m home!” Joey’s words resonate through the house you’ve just moved in together as he enters through the front door, a bright smile on his face as his eyes frantically look around for you. “Where’s my lovely spouse?”

Ever since you two got married, he couldn’t stop reffering to you as his lovely spouse, something he had been wanting to call you ever since he decided to propose to you. Even months after your special day, his mind was filled with thoughts of it, your bright smile and joyful look on your face being the memory he replayed the most. 

“In here!”

Your voice came from upstairs, meaning you were in one of the bedrooms. Joey didn’t waste a second to climb the set of stairs to find his way to you, his eyes sparkling up as soon as he spots you.

“Hey.” You give him a bright smile, some yellow paint on your face as you take a pause from painting the walls. “You came home early.”

“I nailed most of my scenes, so the director let me leave sooner than usual.” You close your eyes as soon as you feel his lips press against your cheek, his arms wrapping around your body as he takes a look around the room. “How’s the baby room going?”

“Super smoothly.” You say these words with pride, gently putting your free hand against one of his arms as you hold on the paintbrush with the other. “Trust me, I’ll have this whole thing finished in no time.”

His lips stretch out onto his cheeks as he gives you a tighter squeeze, his lips approaching your ear so he can sing-song his next set of words to you.

“We’re gonna have a baby~”

You chuckle, his joy and excitement quite contagious as you sing-song back to him. “I know~”

Nothing in this moment could describe the amount of happiness you or Joey were feeling, the two of you basking in the cheerfulness and contentment of the lives you’ll share together. 

And you were both more than ready to start the family you both always wanted.
