Sometimes I feel like it’s possible. What if you met someone and loved him very much, to the point where you accepted a lot of things that weren’t right for you? What if you didn’t love yourself like, at all at the time? And now, after years together, the unconditional love has stopped, not because you don’t love them, but because you’ve learned that unconditional love is not always healthy. So now the incompatibilities are strong and undeniable.
Is it possible to step away from that relationship with love and friendship? What if you don’t want to hate or hurt, just to close a chapter? A special chapter, indeed. A happy chapter in many ways, but one that is simply coming to an end.
