Whatever space and time mean, place and occasion mean more. For space in the image of man is place, and time in the image of man is occasion.

It is the wonder of all men, how among so many millions of faces, there should be none alike.

✨ Exploring the National Taichung Theater ✨
Designed by the visionary architect Toyo Ito, this architectural marvel in Taichung is nothing short of breathtaking. The theater's fluid and organic design feels like stepping into a modern cave, where art and nature blend seamlessly.
🌊 From the outside, a flowing stream winds its way around the building, guiding visitors into its unique interior. The water feature continues inside, creating a tranquil atmosphere as it weaves around shops, corners, and open spaces.
🎭 Inside, the curvilinear walls and ceilings evoke a sense of awe, while the lighting and textures enhance its contemporary yet natural vibe. The space feels alive, almost like it's sculpted by nature itself.
Although my visit was brief, this space truly left an impression. It's more than just a theater—it's an experience that connects you to art, design, and nature in a deeply inspiring way. Definitely a must-visit if you're ever in Taiwan!

The mighty concrete sculpture of Leandro Locsin. Who would have any Filipino architect have known locally would see this equal to the works of Zaha hadid, Norman Foster and BIG, that this project is way back in the 1970s.

Kengo Kuma’s Swooping Canopy Reorients Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian in Lisbon
The extension to Lisbon’s Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian (CAM), designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates, orients a much-adored park and cultural complex in a different direction. This singular foundation—established by the will of oil magnate Calouste Gulbenkian and today one of the world’s largest in its endowment—first acquired a swath of the city’s Santa Gertrudes Park in 1957 to build a museum for the display of its patron’s highly curated collection of pre-modern art.

The design, by a trio of Portuguese architects—Ruy Jervis d’Athouguia, Pedro Cid, and Alberto Pessoa—brought art and nature into immediate proximity within a Modernist pavilion, which contained two internal gardens, and windows that frame the plantings like artworks. Lisboans flocked to this cool refuge set amid laurels, eucalyptus, and poplar.

Bucket List ✅️ in an intimate experience with our ancestor's heritage.
Words and pictures can't do justice to my experience at this place. Every step is a vantage point that offers breathtaking views that my camera couldn't capture. Escaped the urban grind for a weekend getaway to this charming rural spot, complete with unlimited coffee and stunning vistas courtesy of the locals.

Last weekend, I embraced a daring opportunity to travel solo. I did not even know if the Joiners group was legit until the tour coordinator was very accomodating, but still i payed my downpayment and pushed through. Leaving my work for a while was kinda risky but i put all my faith that all things would go well.
Traveling to Buscalan was terrific 😈🤣 but atleast the views was all that mattered. My main goal was to witness the pre-colonial building structures of the Rice Terraces. It even greeted me during the 30 minute hike towards the town.
My visit was quick and it checked everything I expected; unlimited local coffee(one of the best i tasted), an honor to meet Whang Od(107 years old National Artist of Traditional Tattoo) and finally touched the Rice Terraces.
I wrapped up my last day savoring coffee and capturing photos of the rising sun over the Buscalan Rice Terraces. Grateful for this experience, thank you, God!

Exploring the intriguing parallels between Cebu's gloomy skies and London's, our city embraces a cool, windy atmosphere reminiscent of the United Kingdom. (Although our climate is not the same as their climate) As I ponder the week's weather, I can't help but question: Is the unexpected snowfall in Baguio a subtle reminder of the impact of Climate Change?

A journey along this serene river offers a 360-degree panorama of breathtaking views, weaving through three caves and a dam. Amidst glimpses of man-made structures, nature stands as the dominant force, providing a welcome distraction from future and past concerns. The river serves as a live-in-the-present remedy, heightening awareness of the surroundings. Special recognition to the mute man in the photo, skillfully rowing us through the river using only his toes. His silent efforts, occasionally punctuated by attempts to make sounds, guided us to discover remarkable spots along the way.
