Hi! It's been, what, a few years? Life is complicated. Very complicated. Anyway, it's time for a change, online and offline. I'll keep up the posts with my download links, but I don't play Sims 4 anymore. :/ Sad, I know. It's a long story, and I'm sure no one really cares.
Anyway, as I said, it's time for a change in life too. I have a toy obsession, one where I collect and keep everything in a box. You'll see. But, I gotta sell it. It's gotta go because it kinda gives me anxiety. So, if anyone is interested, please send me a message, or come visit my eBay page. I don't have a store.... Yet. We'll see how it goes.
My eBay name is mrsbeara
Come visit me!
I mean, cute, right? ^^

Hi, I don't know if your still active but if you still have the Queen's Privy room, could you put it up for download possibly? it's so pretty! you did an amazing job.
Hey Anon,
Aren't you a dear heart! Thank you. :)
I would love to put it up for download, but the majority of the content within the room is not mine, so I can't really (I think it would lose its magic without all that clutter I stuck in there, especially the roses). I could put just the room up and link the objects I used, but you would have to DL all of the objects to get the room to look just so and TBH, I have never just put up a room for DL (usually just lots).
If you would like, I could link where the objects came from. Just let me know. :)

Just checking in; I’m still here if anyone is curious. I put TS4 away for a little bit (been immersed in CP2077), but I will come back soon, maybe even with a dashing new sim.
Cassius. Yeah, that has a nice ring to it. ;D

The Lodge of Sorceresses live in the stunning Crimson Keep, built by @miljamaison
This build was an absolute joy to decorate, and it’s taken me ages, but it was so lovely to work with. As someone who loves decorating but dislikes (and is bad at) actually building, doing this was so much fun!
Thanks to @plazasims @satterlly @remussims and others for the Sorceresses’ cc

“That is quite the tale,” he said, whistling low, “and remind me to attend more sermons so as not to attract the wrath of The Watcher. But how did thee find the stone in the first place?” “The tale along with the whereabouts of the stone have been passed down to the women of my family for generations. Queen Ebris was an avid hunter and would take Cassandra with her on excursions into the wood, that is how they stumbled upon the stone in the first place. On a hunch that that is where Cassandra would go with the prince, the queen made for the forest and eventually found the lifeless bodies of both the prince and her daughter before the glowing stone. Ever since then, the forest and the stone have become a refuge and somewhere to find solace for the women of my family who possess the gift. As a child, my mother would take me to that very spot where I would watch her commune with the oracle. ‘Tis a place of wonderment to me, always has been.” “And this gift, is it something thou also possess?” She could feel him tense around her and saw a flash of uneasiness cross his features.
All too quickly she answered him, trying to sound as convincing as possible. “Me? Hardly,” she lied, trying to maintain eye contact with him but finding it difficult. “The only power granted to me is from the Crown. And before thee ask, there has been nay any witch or warlock since the eradication my grandfather so ruthlessly campaigned for. Any who claim to have abilities such as Cassandra are… deceivers.” The word hung in the air, and she was sure he could see right through her deception, but he simply nodded and seemed to look past her for a moment, his mind far away. Chewing on her bottom lip, she watched as he broke free from his reverie and returned his gaze back to her. “Oh, I think Her Highness sells herself short. I have seen firsthand how just a glance from thee entrances and bewitches all those around. Thou are fascinating, the rarest sort of diamond among a bed of stone. The glow thou emanate rivals that of the fullest moon and shines brighter and more intensely than any star. Like a moth to a flame, I am drawn to thee, and I confess, if I must burn to bask in thy light for even just a fleeting moment, I will gladly withstand the pain. Andraste, what thou do to me; I know not how or why, but no one else has touched me so deep inside. Dammit, I—”
The words died on his lips as he crashed them against hers, his kiss urgent and full of want, of need. Mind unraveling, all senses fading except the feel of his mouth on hers, she responded with the same intensity, a soft moan escaping her as they met again and again in a rushed pace. Parting her mouth to allow him to deepen the kiss, she darted her tongue across his bottom lip before sliding it against his own, eliciting from him a low deep groan. Forcefully pressing her to his body, he pulled away long enough to pepper kisses along her jaw and down the slope of her neck, stopping at her pulse point where he nipped at the soft skin before placing a hungry kiss there. “Merek…,” she sighed his name, chin pointed upward to allow him easier access, lips swollen and tender and aching for him to capture them once more, which he did with abandon.
“Andraste,” he said between kisses, the pace of which he slowed down slightly as if he were savoring the way she tasted, “I will do anything; thou need only ask.” Drunk on his touch and rapidly losing hold of reality, she started to tell him her innermost desire when a voice shattered the moment and the stillness of the courtyard. Suddenly remembering where they were, she pulled back and pressing her forehead to his, raised a finger and held it against his lips, silencing him before he could give away their position. “—spend all night searching for Her Majesty. Did thou see the way that servant girl was eyeing me, giggling at my every word? I just may have a chance this time.” “So, make haste then,” another voice said, this time closer than the last one, “and help me search the courtyard. Lady Lisette said she thought she saw Her Highness go sprinting in that direction for whatever reason.” “She is a woman; who knows what possesses them to do anything? Wait, did thou hear something?”
“Sprinting?” Merek whispered against her finger, a mischievous glint in his eye as he flashed her a smug, all-knowing smirk, clearly pleased to hear how she had hurried to meet him. Biting her lip, she shrugged her shoulders bashfully before pulling him from eyesight of one of the archways to a dimly lit area of the courtyard. “I regret nothing,” she said softly but with urgency, “but as much as I am loathe to say this, thou must make scarce, for they cannot find us together.” Watching the hesitation on his face as if he were internally struggling with obeying her command or defying it, she pressed her lips against his once more before whispering. “Please, Merek. I need to be able to see thou again. Do not make me beg.” “Oh, I plan to,” he whispered back against the shell of her ear, his hand traveling down the length of her torso to stop at her hip where he squeezed, “but later and with much less fabric covering your body. Meet me tomorrow at the Black Lotus Inn at sundown. Thou hast shown me thy world and I wish to show thee mine.”
“Nothing shall stop me,” she said, inhaling sharply at the feel of him kissing the skin where her jaw met to her neck, suppressing a moan. “This time it shall be I who waits with bated breath. Until then, Your Highness,” he said, winking at her before sweeping backward into a bow, a hand covering his heart, and disappearing into the night. Instantly feeling the loss of him, she sighed and, turning on her heel, walked back to the moonlit archway just as the two guards walked under it into the courtyard. “Your Highness, pardon the interruption,” the taller of the two men said, his brows knitting together as he took her and the empty courtyard in, “but we were bidden by Knight Commander Dionysus with haste to find thou and well, we heard voices coming from here.” Seeing the confusion on his face and the other guard flitting their eyes around as if they were looking for someone, she cleared her throat and crossing her arms in front of her, tilted her head at them, murmuring under her breath about how they knew not what they were truly interrupting.
“Your Majesty?” “Aye, what you heard was me… praying to The Watcher. We must have all his blessings if things are to go smoothly with Cantrenia after all.” “But we heard two voices,” the shorter guard said, narrowing his eyes at her until his companion nudged him in the ribs. “What thou think thee may have heard and what is reality are clearly two different things then,” she said, her tone strained with irritation. “Do thou see another soul amongst us? Nay. Now, tell me what is so urgent I must be called away from my solitude? Did the children start throwing cake? I know Dionysus is mischievous at times but really, to teach them that. We shall never get it out of the drapes.” Sharing a confused look between themselves, one of the knights cleared his throat as he shook his head.
“While I have no doubt the Knight Commander has a… jovial side to himself, we were nay bidden to find thee for that reason or for the children. Your Highness, the emissary from Cantrenia has arrived and is requesting to speak with thou at once.” “Aye, the Knight Commander is distracting him as we speak. Such a rude little man, that one.” “Demanding,” the other guard said to the agreeance of his companion. “And pompous!” “Enough! He was not supposed to arrive for two more days’ time and the hour is very late.” “My apologies, Your Highness, but he is here now and waiting for an audience.” Shrugging at her, both knights uneasily shifted in their armor. Sighing heavily, the promise she had just made to Merek replaying in her mind, she nodded at the two men. “Very well, show me to this… rude, demanding pompous ass. If ‘tis an audience he wants, ‘tis an audience he shall receive.”

“I am not the first queen to technically rule over Weissowen alone—” “Mmhm, I heard that part as well, your great-great-grandmother,” he interrupted, his grin reaching all the way to his ears. “Right… Of course, thou did. Aye, my great-great-grandmother, Queen Ebris. Not only was she a good and just queen, beloved and revered by her subjects, but she was fierce in battle, a force to be reckoned with, and wise beyond her years. She also had a penchant for riddles and would spend what idle time she had drumming up new ways to stump both the noble gentry and the servants. She had two children, but Cassandra was the oldest and rumored to be the fairest maiden in the whole kingdom—"
“Clearly, this was a long time ago, for there is none who holds a candle to the woman in my arms,” he interrupted again, his look one of adoration as he spun her away from him, then pulled her back once again into his embrace. Laughing, a little dizzy from the spin, she canted her head to the side and studied his face before speaking again. “So full of compliments thou are. I am sure thou say that to all the maidens. I have seen how they flock like birds of prey to thee.” “Ah, ‘tis not the flock I wish to fly with. ‘Tis the pure white dove beating her wings in front of me that I wish to soar with past the stars,” he said quietly as if it were a secret he trusted only her to keep, “but go on. I promise no more interruptions.”
Staring at him pointedly, the fact that she did not believe he could stifle his comments etched on her face, which in turn caused him to chuckle, she continued. “We shall see how well thou keep thy promises. Now, where was I? Oh aye, Cassandra. Claims of her beauty spread far and wide and before long a steady stream of suitors arrived at the castle. A free spirit, not wishing to be tied down or courted by any of the suitors, she spurned each one’s advances until it seemed there was nary one left. Queen Ebris, growing desperate to see her daughter ascend the throne with a prince or duke at her side, gave her daughter an ultimatum—she was to accept the proposal of the next suitor, lest she be stricken of her birthright and cut from the line of succession. Foolishly believing the odds were in her favor that she had met every suitor there could possibly be, she agreed and for a time, it indeed seemed as if luck were on her side for none came to call upon her.
Then, one day while the princess and Queen Ebris were listening to grievances and requests from their subjects, two princes, brothers identical in appearance, arrived from Cantrenia, both wishing to woo the princess. Not being one to go back on a word once given and with the queen’s blessing, she began to court the princes and soon found herself hopelessly in love with the younger twin. Finally, it came time for the last ball of the social season, the one in which the princess would have to accept a proposal if one were given. That night a storm the likes of which no one had ever seen tore through the sky, but not even that could deter the princess from accepting the promised proposal of her beloved. As the ball drew to a close, Queen Ebris, not one to mince words, asked both of the princes in front of the entire court what their intentions were with regard to the princess. Without hesitation, both princes knelt and proceeded to ask for Cassandra’s hand, much to the queen’s and princess’s surprise.
Turning to her daughter, Queen Ebris was in the middle of allowing her to choose which proposal to accept when the eldest prince spoke up, claiming that because he was born first he was the rightful heir to Cantrenia’s throne and therefore only his proposal should be considered valid. Seeing some logic in his words but more importantly seeing the way Cassandra gazed at his brother, she announced that the decision would come down to a riddle and whichever prince correctly answered it would win her blessing and wed the princess. With both brothers agreeing to the terms, the queen asked them this riddle— ‘To be gold is to be good; to be stone is to be nothing; to be glass is to be fragile; to be cold is to be cruel. Unmetaphored, what am I?’”
“A heart,” Merek answered her as his arms reflexively tightened around her frame, his gaze intense and unwavering. Caught off guard by his response and the look he was giving her, she cleared her throat and nodded before beginning again. “Aye, thou wouldst be correct. A heart. Without hesitation, both princes gave their responses, but it ‘twas the younger brother, Cassandra’s beloved, that solved the riddle correctly. Overjoyed that she would marry for love and not circumstance, the princess happily accepted the proposal from her prince. However, the eldest prince, outraged that he had been bested and made the fool in front of the whole court, demanded another riddle, but his protests went unheard in the commotion, which only angered him more and turned his heart cold, both toward Cassandra and his brother. In a swift motion, he retrieved a dagger hidden in his boot and without so much as another thought, plunged the blade deep in his brother’s back to the hilt, solidifying his betrayal.
Now, there is something thou should understand. Some of the women of my family, well, they have certain abilities. It seems to be inherited but can skip generations at a time. Whether fortunate or not, Cassandra possessed immense power, a secret only the royal family was privy to, but that night, so stricken with grief, her heart broken, she lost control of her gift. Blinded by rage and despair, her body crackling with untamed raw energy, she unleashed her magic on the ballroom, twin spheres forming and swirling in her palms. One of the spheres she hurled toward the middle of the dancefloor where it crashed with a resounding boom, the resultant shockwave knocking out every window of the ballroom and sending guests sprawling.” “And the other sphere?” “Ah, that she threw at the surviving prince.” “And rightly so.” “Aye, however, it missed its mark and instead hit the floor near where he stood where it created a portal, much like the portal we traveled through to the wheatfield. Pulling the lifeless prince after her, she entered the portal before any could stop her. Does thou have a guess where it led her?”
“Thou will need to ask a harder question if thou wish to stump me, Your Highness. ‘Tis easy. She tumbled out where the stone stands now, did she not? It makes sense with that I saw in the woods that that is where she would end up.” “My, thou are two for two. A reward might be in order.” “I hope so, for now I am expecting one. But what happened next?” “So great was her suffering and the loss she felt that she pleaded to The Mother Goddess to return the prince back to her, but it was as if her pleas feel upon deaf ears, so she turned to another… method, one that is strictly forbidden and one of the reasons the Cleansing War occurred in the first place—raising the dead. No longer seeing reason, she set upon summoning up the power to cast the spell, calling forth the powers that be, which she foolishly forgot includes The Watcher.
So furious was The Watcher that she dared to disrupt the natural order of things and go against his will that he unleashed a lightning bolt to strike her down before she could complete the spell. As she lay dying, her last breaths begged The Watcher and The Mother Goddess for forgiveness. While The Watcher had forsaken her, The Mother Goddess took pity on Cassandra and saw potential in her yet. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, she transferred the princess’s life force into the stone to serve as a Keeper of the Wood, an oracle and conduit to The Mother Goddess. And that is the story of the stone and my explanation for what we encountered, what you saw.” She paused, studying his face to gauge his reaction, when she realized they were no longer dancing yet she was still tucked in his arms.

Just curious...
Am I the only one who has not updated their game yet? Between the Groundhog Day bug, 532 error and all the other “mishaps” that have happened lately with the patches, I’m really leery about patching my game. I didn’t buy HSY, no use for it in my gameplay, but I’m curious if the patch they released for the base game is causing as much trouble or if it’s just HSY.
