MISERY ON A LEASH

Portrays a state of sentimental revolt of an individual hurt by others, expressing himself through his clothes and way of presenting himself. 

A little like in movies where the sore character revolts and darkens his clothes in order to transpose the way they feel emotionally.

Some of the main references for this collection were 4 Disney Villains and their color schemes. 

As a style reference we have Punk and Grunge style too, the materials of certain pieces intend  to give a more “Glam”  twist to the collection to show that despite the “sore” side it keeps shining anyways.

Retrata um estado de revolta sentimental de um indivíduo magoado pelos outros, expressando-se assim através da sua roupa e forma de se apresentar.

Um pouco como no cinema onde a personagem magoada se revolta e escurece as suas roupas de forma a transpor a forma como se sente emocionalmente.

Algumas das referências principais para esta colecção foram 4 Vilãs da Disney e o seu esquema de cores.

Como referência de estilo temos o Punk e Grunge também. os materiais de certas peças pretendem por sua vez dar um lado mais “Glam” à coleção para mostrar que apesar do lado “magoado” no interior mantêm-se brilhante

The concept of masculinity is subjective and personal.

The parameters that define masculinity have been revised and more and more, a man is not measured by the fact of wearing pink or not, expressing his feelings or wearing so-called "feminine" clothes.

O conceito de masculinidade é subjectivo e pessoal.

Os parâmetros que definem a masculinidade têm vindo a ser revistos e cada vez mais um homem nao se mede pelo facto de usar ou nao cor de rosa, expressar os seus sentimentos ou usar roupas ditas "femininas". Venus as a boy signifa isso, o lado mais sensível e delicado de um homem que não se importa com os parâmetros antiquados anteriormente estabelecidos pela sociedade.

BLUE BOY

Deals in a "raw” way what it is like to live with anxiety and depression.

It shows how lonely and confused the mind becomes of those who live daily with both diseases, of what it is to feel every day that one is not good enough, or what’s the meaning of living in a world that we do not understand, trying to find strength every morning to get out of bed. To feel alone even when you’re surrounded by people who like us.

Dotto Guy

Is a partnership between artist Takashi Murakami and the Mutantes brand in the creation of a men's clothing line.

Using the artist’s work and giving a new twist using a technique with dots and  black spaces, a little like in the style of Pop Art by Roy Lichtenstein, in order to make the image under that layer look a bit imprecptive

É uma parceria do artista Takashi Murakami com a marca Mutantes na criação de uma linha de roupa masculina.

Usando  obras do artista e dando um twist novo usando uma técnica com pontos e espaços a preto, um pouco ao estilo Pop Art de Roy Lichtenstein, para dessa forma tornar um pouco impreceptivél a imagem por baixo dessa mesma camada
