Hear Me out..

In another universe, Kevin Day wouldn't have sent Jeremy Knox's freshman year incident to Jean Moreau. Why? Because in this universe Jean has his promised forever partner, Nathaniel Wesninski, and Nathaniel doesn't play about his partner. It would've never gotten to the point of Jean "sleeping his way onto the line" because Nathaniel would've never let it get that far. Nathaniel as (number three) would be a barrier between his number four and the King if it meant he would die.

So no, Jean Moreau didn't willingly sleep with the defense line several times nor was he forced to say he enjoyed it so why would anyone think Jean was bisexual or liked anyone but women?

Kevin never had to worry about Nathaniel liking men. Sure, Nathaniel was a defiant and bold teenager, but he would never cross the line to anything further, right? If only there wasn't a certain PSU goalie that just joined the lineup.

Nathaniel knows Riko and the Master can't kill him because as far as he's concerned, Nathaniel is more important for keeping the butcher and main Family happy than Riko. And so why would Nathaniel overthink pursuing what he wants? He's number three and perfect court. There are only a few things he can't say no to, but his heart was never one of them.

But Kevin was supposed to keep the rest of the perfect court in line so Riko wouldn't have to. Why didn't Kevin send Jeremy's incident to Nathaniel? Why did Kevin let Nathaniel pursue goalie Andrew Joseph Minyard? Why has Jean seen his partner misbehave and adopt the idea that he could also?

Why does number two have the burden to ensure everyone maintains perfection and discipline?
