I will be evicted on Sept 1st if I don't get rent money
Hi. I am a trans and disabled individual and right now I am living through my own personal hell. In April 2025, my mom passed away by suicide and I was the one to find her. My mom was my best friend, my caregiver and my everything. She meant the world to me and a piece of my heart went with her.
The thing is my mom paid half of all the bills so I've severely behind on all the bills. Right now, I am facing the looming problem of a very possible eviction if I don't get the funds for rent and bills. I'm currently looking for a job in my field with a flexible schedule so I can attend my many medical appointments. Until then, I'm relying on kind strangers to help me out.
I have created a Chuffed campaign and I have a PayPal link that I will attach below. I DESPERATELY need the help or else I'll be on the streets with no personal support workers to help me and I could die from infections.
Please share this everywhere and tag people you know, I don't want to die on the streets!!

This is called convict leasing. And it’s why so many people of color get arrested for non-crimes and out-of-proportion punishments for crimes that a white person could get away with dozens of times. The police exist to systematically round up people of color to either annihilate them (hello texas prisons without AC at 110+ degrees farenheit) or use them for enslaved labor. This is one of the many many reasons we say ACAB. If you stand against racism and slavery, you should stand for prison abolition.
Oh yeah, and using prisoners for free labor is completely legal per the constitution. Slavery never fucking ended. The same groups that were originally founded to round up runaway endlaved people… evolved into the police. The american law enforcement system is rotten to the core.
And while we’re on these topics, let’s talk about ICE and DHS. Let’s talk about the death camps in El Salvador where america is outsourcing their “deportation” [read: kidnapping. Deportation just sends someone to their former location. Outsourcing death camps is not deportation. I do not stand for either one]. I call them death camps because they said once someone goes in, they won’t come out. They might not even deliberately be killing these people, but many of them will die under such horrendous circumstances, and the rest may never see their loved ones again as far as we know right now.
But I want to talk about the videos we’ve seen of the cages full of men, so brutalized and dehumanized. But just men. We know others, women and children particularly, have been deported, but never shown. Which leads us to a few possible conclusions.
1) they’re being kept/killed just like the men, but the US won’t show us because they’re afraid racists might wake up and have empathy if they see a woman or child undergoing that. (Which does bring up a conversation of how men are seen as disposable pawns in global politics and war, and how men of color particularly tend to be brutalized and demasculinized, and this is something the government is trying to portray as a lighthearted meme or victory—it’s incredibly dystopian)
Or 2) they’re being used for labor, or sold into human trafficking. I don’t mean to fear-monger or cause panic, but I fear this is a genuine possibility. We already know that thousands of children have disappeared in the past under the hands of immigration enforcement. And we know that children of color are most likely to be subjected to human trafficking. I don’t know if we’ll ever know what has really happened to these kids and women. But it puts a sick feeling in my stomach when I’m in an airport bathroom and I see a poster against human trafficking with the phone numbers to ICE and DHS on it, knowing that the same demographics who are most likely to need that help might suffer the same if they were to call those numbers.
All that to say—the US government puts up these posters. It claims to care about human trafficking issues. But then it goes and collects people of color to do its dirty work. It thrives off of cheap immigrant labor—often done under duress of deportation or not knowing enough english to fully consent to their contract. 30% of our food comes from immigrants who often aren’t paid enough. And more comes from enslaved people, paid pennies or less, often wrongfully imprisoned. Our capitalist economy was built on the backs of enslaved people, and nothing has changed. Human trafficking is defined as exploitation of a person for labor, services, or sex. The US government relies on human trafficking to keep the country and economy afloat. And that is not okay.
This is where I start ranting about intersectionality and the revolution. Because yes, “this isn’t left vs. right, it’s up vs. down.” That is true in many ways, and I genuinely believe that if all the American peoples could find common ground and band together, we could have our revolution, and figure out the other disagreements later. And yet all forms of oppression are connected, and to align with any often betrays another bias. This is about the working class. But it must be recognized that most of the working class belongs to some minority group. And we need all of us to get through this. So much of the discrimination and hatred in this country—racism, anti-immigrant sentiments, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism, and more—are directly funded by corporations who put extra zeros on our politicians’ paychecks in exchange for them stirring up hatred. The corporations get our complicity and division, the politicians get power, and we’re left with misinformation and poverty wages. The revolution is for every single one of us—the 99%. And it is VITAL that we stand up for our neighbors.
That means everyone. Disabled people, women, and trans people are losing healthcare right now. Immigrants and other people of color are losing their families right now. Both children and adults are losing access to education right now. Most of us are losing some sort of human rights. Help each other out. Check on your neighbors and loved ones. Stand up to hatred. Sign petitions and protest. Do what you can with what you have. Pay extra attention to the people who might slip through the cracks. Protect each other.
One of the reasons they’re banning abortion (or “leaving it up to the states”—therefore fucking over the poorer, redder states) is to breed more white children, to make the country more white. Women of color have been sterilized against their will for years, but I can’t get a voluntary hysterectomy without permission from my nonexistent husband? That’s not just religious purity culture wrapped in sexism, it’s pure racism too. I don’t know if there’s even a word for this but it feels like eugenics. But like additive eugenics, while they’re also engaging in normal eugenics.
Also, if Indigenous people still had control of the land you can bet we wouldn’t be ripping off immigrants to do heavy labor in unsustainable farming practices. I don’t know as much as I’d like to about #landback but I’m trying to educate myself! I do know that a good amount of the people of color in Texas (including the ones targeted by “deportation”) are native to Texas, since Texas land was previously part of Mexico, and originally Indigenous territory for many different Nations.
This is why working-class values have to be intersectional—because WE are intersectional. Every issue face impacts the rest of us in some way. All of us live here and all of us are trying to survive fascism. We have to care about each other. Community means strength in numbers.
Here in Texas, hundreds died from a flood that we would have had warning for if not for tr*mp defunding it. But instead of reallocating funding for that in the aftermath of tragedy, legislators want to please trump even further by focusing on anti-trans bathroom bills and out-of-season racist gerrymandering. (This is super ironic since Texas threatens to secede all the time and likes to come off as super independent and libertarian but of course our evil fuckass governor is licking tr*mp’s boots). I went to the Capitol to protest this yesterday, which was predominantly led by Latine people, black people, and LGBTQ people. There were 5000 of us there protesting, many from out of town. Never have I felt so safe next to a middle-aged white man carrying an American flag—because what struck me most about the protest is that literally thousands of us from all different backgrounds and even political views were willing to come together to fight fascism. Because if republicans on instagram can admit to being wrong about trump, if a fierce patriot can chant “sí, se puede” next to me (which, by the way, was led by the woman who coined the phrase herself—Dolores Huerta!!), if we can step back from the misinformation and fear spread by billionaires and politicians to divide us, we can fight fascism.
Texas gets a lot of shit for its reputation. For being a red state, for voting wrong, for being undereducated, and other stereotypes. But the truth is, Texas is a working-class state with a lot of diversity. It could be a blue state if not for gerrymandering and the electoral college. The fascist and (often) republican policies that give us a bad reputation do in fact hurt us. Like school choice—which will take away funding from public schools and working-class families to prioritize wealthy private schools, which are unavailable in small towns and make room for indoctrination and abuse. I’ve even seen dozens of comments on social media claiming that we “deserved” the flood for voting red. When so many of us didn’t—and even for the people who did, that doesn’t mean their kids deserve to die.
We are all humans, we are all working class, we all deserve human rights and dignity, and we all need to stand up and fight to the best of our abilities right now. All of us deserve better than this. Fuck fascism!! Spread love!!!!!

Unironically bro memes help with this. Fuck yes I’m holding hands with my bro. Yes we cuddle the homies.
Given that I like a lot of physical affection and do things with my friends that’d be considered as “romantic” to outsiders something I’ve really had to reconcile with is the notion of things being “inherently romantic”. There is no action that on its own is always romantic. Society can place romantic meanings on gestures and individuals can develop romantic associations with certain gestures but neither of those make something "inherently romantic".
For a long time I restrained myself from holding hands with my friends or laying in their lap because I thought they were too romantic for our relationship. Even though physical affection is the strongest way I show I care, I purposely withheld that and withdrew from my friends because I was worried about being read as romantic when they knew I wasn't.
And that sucks.
It wasn't until one of my friends sat me down and had to interrogate me and reassure that they were okay with me doing "traditionally romantic" things with them. That was one of the most freeing experiences conversations I'd had. It's odd to put into words just how much it meant for me to be told that I didn't have to self-restrain myself because of what others think about our relationship. We know its not romantic --who cares what others think???

TERFs have NEVER been feminists.
on the topic of transphobes, keeping my agab secret from strangers makes for some really interesting things. Everytime I talk about trans women, transphobes think I am a trans woman, and everytime I talk about trans men they think I am a trans man. When I am treated like a trans woman I get comments about me having an unwashed dick and raping women, and when I am treated as a trans man they speak in a really patronising way while making sure to add as many pet names as possible. It makes for a good example of transmisogyny & androphobia and how terfs uphold these gender roles.
The point of terf ideology is, in theory, to break down gender roles and reduce everything to biological sex. Terfs believe that trans men exist because they want to escape misogyny. So if the patriarchy didn't exist, no one would feel the need to transition from female to male. But in practice, removing women from gender roles doesn't seem like a priority at all. Masculine women are fine, but trans men need to be talked down to like little girls until they agree to perform as a women and enjoy these words that are associated with femininity. It is misogynistic to use words like "sweetie" and "babe" in order to subtly put women in their place, but feminist to do the same to trans men. Since terfs view trans men as women, this means that they are okay with using misogyny as a tool against women they think should shut up.

I saw an instagram official account today?!?!
You know with the officalverse making it's way off Tumblr (ao3, unfortunately c.ai, and I think I heard people mention Pinterest?) it's got me wondering how long until we reach YouTube shorts/Tiktoc. Or long form YouTube accounts that read Tumblr stuff. Can't wait for the hour+ long video essay on the officalverse to drop lmao
3k notes and I'll make an hour+ long deepdive of the officalverse. That seems plausible but unlikely /srs

YIPPEE 🗣️🗣️🗣️
When I say YIPPIEEE I mean it with my whole chest. There is no human emotion more visceral and complex than that of yippie. The high pitched depths of my vocal cords hunger for yippie more than words can describe. I will yippie until the sun explodes.

(It’s an old song)
Once there was a man
A man with feathers on his feet
(Can I start like that?)
It was the road to hell—
I’ve never told this before
It was hard times
We weren’t aging. We weren’t growing.
Once upon a time there was a railroad line
And now we’ll never die
We’re gonna sing it again and again and again
And that’s the story of the Tucks
#tuck everlasting#hadestown#idk it was getting mixed together in my head#musical theatre#i got to see tuck everlasting at my community theater today and I criedddd

Queerness is inherently countercultural; it is a community of minority identities who break the status quo merely by existing. I proudly embrace queer as a synonym for weird because normalcy is to be boring and complicit in atrocities. And I embrace it for being a slur as well, because I would rather die alongside other queers than assimilate to those who would use the word against me. I love being queer.
