I keep seeing people saying it's not okay to ship a lesbian character with a gay male character, or an asexual character with an allosexual and, like... Are you forgetting that fandom has been shipping straight men with each other for DECADES? if you feel represented in a character because of their sexuality that's cool but you really don't get to morally judge someone for....having thoughts??? About characters that aren't even real? If you shipped me with a man I'd be a bit weirded out but a character. Doesn't. Have. Feelings. And if your feelings get hurt by someone else having thoughts about a fictional character then I'm sorry to say it, you need to get a grip on reality.

What is the goal with representation of LGBTQ+ minorities? Equality. Equality in how people are being treated, about how the decisions they make with their partners or lack thereof are being respected and normalized instead of being judged or questioned.
