the most relevant context is that technically they knew already because I went to a psychotherapist when I was 13/14 for gender reasons, except my mother's first reaction was being mad at me, insulting me, and calling for an exorcism (my 17th century problemboy swag!) so you may guess why I've delayed the second coming out until now. My father does not believe in human rights and acts comically evil (with the intent of being comically evil) but so far he has been the most chill about this, and I think it's because he takes any situation with more emotional nuance than "evil guy good guy" with the approach of running off to the seaside for a weekend. so
