i think the ending of tg straight up confirmed hirako loved arima. it's painful to think about.

So it finally ended

After reading the ending, I have to say that I regret all the time I have spent (or wasted) drawing fan art for this manga. (I wanted to read Take’s part only but end up scrolling through the whole thing)

Btw let talk about Take first, I don’t know what to feel. I didn’t even think Take would be mentioned in the ending. All I see is a lost and grieving man, a man with no purpose in his life after all those things had happened. And I HATE that. At this point, I no longer care if he loves Arima or not.I once hoped that Ishida would let me know more about Take’s character/past/background. He had a lot potential to develop but the more I read the more I believe his existence is merely for the development of Kaneki (well aren’t all the characters in tg re: ). This is the reason why I drop the series.

And about the whole ending, such a typical lame ‘happy ending’ that almost every manga must have. Almost everyone got paired up with someone and some have children and live happily ever after. And let make a new enemy for both sides so that they stop fighting each other.

I hate the way women in this manga end up. A happy woman must either become a ‘waifu’, have a bunch of children, or at least must have feeling toward a man (yeah right, men/boys is the priority of their life/ their life should just rotate around men, and I’m talking about those popular female characters not all the female ones)And if they don’t follow such path? Look what Rize got. Rize was abused her whole life, then got stronger and fought back and did she have a happy ending?

It's definitely not happy. I can't draw anything happy about tg these days.And about Touka ...eh now I don't care much about any other characters except Take, but what she did confuses me. Like didn't they say the ghoul mother's body will absorb the child as it mistakes for food? So what is the point of eating human food anyway? Shouldn't she eat more human meat so that the body get so much energy that it doesn't need to eat the fetus?

I was drawing a new long art for Take and saw your ask and I almost got the paper tore.I stopped drawing and went to check the spoiler and now I am looking at the paper and thinking if I should continue drawing as all the mood just got swept away I just checked Take in TG (not tg:re), especially chap 101, and then came back to look at the man in spoiler who has an identical face of Take and asked “where did you hide the body,sir?”

Damn you boi Take, how much do you love Arima to even go this far??? Yeah I ship you two so hard but not to the point of breaking your character

Before although Hirako did follow Arima’s order, he still had his own opinion and humor; and I expect him to have a more important role or at least be different from other side characters.And now, yeah like you said, it seems that his role has been fulfilled. Like “the only reason that you exist is to make sure that the main character get out of CCG alive” and after that I will just let you appear in a few panels, or maybe you should just disappear without reason like Hide.Recently I don’t read new chapters or just read it weeks after the release , I only read spoilers to see if Hirako’s there and tbh I have no patience left with how the plot turn out now. What the heck, so everything about "fans telling Ishida to kill himself" was fake?

It’s the image that fake, or more like misinform, and we don’t know if Ishida really received any. No proof yet. That image is not proof.I read all the tweets and posts in the image and I can say there is NOT a single post say anything about telling Ishida to suicide. Also they just wrote in their own blog not sending anything to Ishida. And I heard that some got attacked because of the image.I don’t know if I can follow TG anymore

I saw this pic in my country’s fandom; and I found it’s weird when I read the tweet too. A lot of fans who are disappointed with the chapter got insulted for this.

I rarely share post about ship war but I must reblog this.

This kind of spreading MISINFORMATION is unacceptable

wait, so the posts about fans telling sensei to commit suicide are fake??

I would go with “misinformed” rather than “fake” for the posts here on Tumblr. Ishida may have received such inappropriate messages on Twitter, but the posts in question, and their roots, do not provide any proof of this. 

The posts here on Tumblr make the claim that Ishida was told to kill himself. They almost all include the image below, a collage of supposed “receipts” recording people telling him to kill himself. (Here is a link to a higher resolution version if this one is unreadable.)

As you can see, not a single post on here is telling Ishida to kill himself. None of them say this. What they do show is just a lot of salt and some accusations of Ishida being “homophobic”. 

Now, I have taken the liberty to track down information to put together a timeline of sorts, links to sources provided, so we can all calm down and hopefully stop spreading misinformation. 

1. The image above first appeared on May 22nd on a Crunchyroll forum post following chapter 125. 

2. Next, on May 25th, the image moved on to Reddit.

3. From Reddit, the image, as well as rumours that rose up from all the drama and discourse, went on to inspire a clickbait article on Goboiano,

4. The hysteria Goboiano incited is where this all really started to pick up steam, leading to a popular Twitter handle to spread the misinformation, paving the way for the falsehoods to spread across even more platforms. (Handle censored so y’all goblins don’t fucking harass them.)

5. The misinformation makes its way to Tumblr into the various posts that are now circulating, that I shall not link to because A) Most already know what I’m talking about or can deduce what’s going on from prior information I gave, and B) I’m not about to name drop people to have any potential demons go and harass them.

Now that we have that cleared up, stop reposting/spreading the posts with false information. I don’t care what stance you have on the current circumstance of ships and/or TG as a whole. The salt filled posts screencapped and pasted into the “receipt” images were made to personal accounts. I do not want to see anyone that was included in the image to be harassed. At the end of the day, it was just salt on their own blogs/twitters/etc, so regardless of whether you agree with their salt or not, they are allowed to express their opinions, as it does not actually hurt anyone. The people in the “receipt” image did not tell Ishida to commit suicide.

Please spread this instead of the misinformed posts so we can all take a collective chill pill and relax.
