Artistic Coordinator David A. Bossert talks about the layering process of creating the animation fx for the Firebird Suite from Disney’s Fantasia 2000. The fx animation was done by animator Ted Kierscey, while the character animation is done by John Pomeroy.
It’s a great watch, I highly recommend it to understand how to layer your animation shots!
