Hey Jitters, do you have a tutorial on how you do the Crystal Pony effect?

I don't have one but I can easily explain it

So make a layer over the rest of your flats, and use the lasso or free select tool to scribble a selection around the character like so

Fill it with a lighter tone than the character's main color and set the layer to overlay and about 50% opacity

Repeat this process with a new scribble selection and make it a multiply layer at 50% opacity

There ya go
