i am curious where his behavior came from? like what molded bill to act this way. im a dummy i have to be remidned of what happened in the comics LOL. im assuming its neglect from his parents and family? i dont have any frame of reference of what his living situation was like though.

i know sometimes, when a parent drinks or takes drugs a lot (while having child in the womb) they can develop oppositional defiant disorder (ODD). ??? would bill have this? idk.

i do wanna analyze bills mind and why he acts the way he does, and what would the steps need to be taken to help him improve his behavior....

his parents are divorced and i think his dad is out of the picture? his mom seems to be a piece of shit, as well, based on how she treats bill. to be fair, though, bill is definitely a pain in the ass to raise. but the whole group has negligent parents in one way or another, i believe.

bill with ODD is a good headcanon but i believe he could maybe have ASPD. a lot of his actions show carelessness for others, as well as only prioritizing himself. hes impulsive, angry, breaks laws, and thinks that he is better that others. he shows a lot of signs that he has ASPD that has never been diagnosed or treated.

that, or hes just a shitty guy.

i think he was failed as a child and is now fucked over for life. i dont think much can be done for him

after epilogue (?) bill so fucked up and miserable and and crying that everyone leaves him and jerry is like "gee i wonder why" (i am bill tho help)

i 4get what age they are at that time like 30? 40? idk but like, its sad to think abt bill only getting help later on. psychwards etc. etc. and bill ofc pushes everyone away and believes he doesnt need any help.. i think it would take so long for him to just accept any help, any meds, any therapy- and even if he did, hed be pissed off about it.

id like to think maybe bill ends up at such a low point in his life, friendless, no support, drunk all the time, unable to function anywhere- cant maintain a job, cant pay bills, etc... like at some point he has to bite the bullet and realize he does need help.

its hard to have hope for bill because from what we seen from the comic he feels like the type of guy to be a asshole until he dies... i am curious what situation would need to happen in order for him to actually step towards the direction of improvement. although, i think itd be really painful... and for bill, chances are he'll only end up functional for the most part when hes much older.

the guys are around 27 during the epilogue, it takes place 10 years after tftm.

honestly without any intervention i believe bill would commit suicide. i think hed sell comics and collectibles until he runs out and cant afford more, and thatll be it for him. that, or he'd think hes too good to kill himself. i dont think hed get any help though, unless forced.

in tftm he does admit that as kids the group probably did need to be medicated. he was probably joking, but the sentiment is still there. i think he would think that since he is older, he has changed and doesnt need to be medicated or anything, but he actually hasnt changed at all. he is so outwardly aggressive and hateful that he has never taken the time to consider that he might be the problem. i honestly dont think that, without intervention, hed ever snap back into reality. but who would even be there to intervene?

i like to think that jerry had a huge crush on bill before the epilogue but grew out of it, and bill developed a crush on jerry after the epilogue. epilogue jerry does not Give a fuck but bill keeps hitting on him after getting drunk. jerry realizes bill is miserable and starts to think he has to take care of him out of guilt. shenanigans ensue . mandi is also there
