From the soundscape for Lindsay Abromaitis-Smith's BLOOM. SHE IS DESCENDING, a performance of disability as transformative magic. 

These soundscapes were a part of an immersive installation at FiveMyles Gallery in Crown Heights, Brooklyn on December 19-21, 2014. Each track accompanied video and sculptural elements in a living altar designed to support a performance and environment of shifting physical and spiritual landscapes.

This soundscape accompanied a video installation on display at The Tigermen Den in New Orleans for Prospect New Orleans P.3+ October 25 - December 6, 2014. The film incorporates past performances of BLOOM with found footage of seeds sprouting and flowers blooming, mirroring Lindsay's physical journey with ALS.

These themes were written and performed live for the first two productions of BLOOM. SHE IS DESCENDING at Dixon Place, NYC on September 5, 2013 + July 31, 2014.
