I have finished this hand embroidered picture of The Mayflower, in celebration of the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Pilgrim Fathers to The New World in 1620. This contemporary artwork has been embroidered onto a linen blend fabric using satin and metallic threads. The finished piece is framed in a glazed shadow box with linen covered mounts. Size 23cm wide by 25cm tall.
