William! Curious to know about what food I had outside the manor?

Since it’s for you, I wanna pick something interesting! Oh, but I’m not sure what is or isn’t familiar to you… let me think…

hmm…! I’ve got one!

It’s technically a ‘sweet’ more than a ‘food’, but I remember when I was a little girl, I was taken out to walk around the town for a while. Not by my father… one of his servants I think? Maybe my nanny… cant quite remember. That doesn’t matter though- we were walking down the street, when we came across this little booth. A confectioner showed us their creation: little candies shaped to fit together! Isn’t it such a magnificent idea? Edible toys! My father always told me not to play with my food, but these were built to be played with! It left me in shock!

Anyways, the person with me must’ve been in a good mood that day, since she bought me a little bag full of them! I remember trying to click them together all the way home, and then I hid them in my pocket until they let me into my toy room! I think it took me weeks before I finished them all. They were so sweet, but it made me so sad to see my collection dwindle…

…ah! I’m rambling, aren’t I? Sorry for keeping you for so long- but I hope you liked my answer!

Annie beamed at the compliment, looking fondly upon her wooden creation.

“Thank you so much! I try my best to fill each creation of mine with love and care- I’m so glad it caught your eye! You said you used to have one when you were a kid? Me too!”

She lifted the duck from its spot, turning it around in her her hands.

“They’re so charming, aren’t they? No fancy gimmicks or anything of the sort, but oh, the little adventures I’d take them on! We’d rescue princesses and restore power to our hometown… what about you?”

The duck now sat upright in her palm, held out for him to take.

Another one? Let’s see… ah! Joker has been one of my most frequent customers since I’ve set up shop. We tend to just talk about the little things, manor life, recent matches, old memories. He’s even let me help him with his prosthetic leg, when the work becomes too much for just him.

I dunno if I’d call us both friends though? Close acquaintances maybe. We never really hang out outside my store, but he’s offered to show me some tricks, from when he was still on stage. Would that be considered friend activity?

Ohh Memory is such a sweet little girl! It’s so rare I get to take someone on a wing ride with me! Most people in the manor are hesitant to try my catapult, and even fewer have been interested in using my wings as well, but Memory seems to enjoy it! I’d never let her use it herself, though, but her fun little ability lets us ride it together!

And her doll form is so cute as well! Oh, to have the ability to become a toy…

Ah! Everyone in the manor is so nice, who should I start with first?

…Miss Woods! She’s such a nice lady, and she even brings back toys from her matches occasionally! In turn, I stop by the garden in my free time and try to help her, though I’ll admit, I’m nowhere near as useful as I’d like to be. ^^ By the time I’m done with one thing, Miss Woods has finished about five. I can’t help but respect someone with such devotion to their craft!

🌻- fun memory?

Oh!! Yes yes I have so many of those! Let’s see… hmmm… oh! I remember during a match I had some time ago, the prospector and I had been waiting for the others come. He and I played with his magnets- they’re so strong, by the way. It’s no wonder the hunters end up stunned afterwards.

By the time the others showed up, I think I was pretty dizzy? Hehee… but I don’t regret it for a moment!

I think that was the first friendly interaction I’d had with Mister Campbell, too.
