I have spent so much time trying to put myself back together, but all it took was one man to come into my life and make me feel complete again. One man to make me feel worth it again, beautiful again, special again, appreciated again, loved again. One man to make me see that love is not something i should hate. That even after everything, i still have so much love to give. It’s not that i decided to love again. It’s because someone made me fall. Someone showed me that it is possible. That one man can make you see how beautiful the world actually is. That one man is worth the risk of a broken heart. As i ride this plane home, one thing comes to my mind really quickly: What's next? There was no Plan B when i left for bootcamp 4 months ago. The Navy was Plan Alfa to Zulu. I never planned to get injured or get separated. I'm sure everyone who goes to bootcamp plans on graduating. And i was one of them. When i get off this flight, i will officially be a military veteran. I will also be officially unemployed. Now what? That's what i wanna know too.

In hindsight, i shouldn't have done what i did. If i was capable of regrets, i'd say this would be my biggest of them all. But i'm not; so like everything else unpleasant that happened in my life, this would also be filed under the "lessons learned" part of my brain and do what i do best - move on.
