hey guys. this blog has been dead for several months every mod here either has work or has school and have moved past this entire situation. i'm only checking it because we've gotten some extremely vague bait-y anons on our mains and had a hunch it was related to this (and it was, considering this ask and the others were sent around the same time)

anyway. did you guys know that the only people who could be a danger to minors are p3dos? no one else has ever been a threat to minors. that's a fun fact i just learned today from anon.

Yes. They were on the Kill Count Server (which I've heard has been deleted) and NSFW was being posted while they were there and active.

Question: What do you hope to gain from launching (what is essentially) a smear-campaign on someone? What are you, cops? This whole thing is very gross on your part, if I'm being honest. Screenshotting every mistake someone has made and throwing them into a PDF benefits no one. Except maybe your sense of entitlement, I guess? The only thing this account is actually doing is telling someone that they're an irredeemable monster, and preventing personal growth. Have you considered that this account (even if you request against these things!) can lead to Goob being harassed, doxxed, or hurt somehow? And even if it doesn't lead to any of those things: How do you think shitting on someone's past mistakes is going to help them improve? While not a new take by any means: No one is perfect, and people make mistakes. You made an entire blog dedicated to "warning" people about another human person. I find it extremely harsh that instead of explicitly telling them what they did wrong here, blocking them, and moving on, you are forcing them to stay a "bad" person. You said you didn't want an apology. If not that, what do you want? The moral high-ground? Because if that's the case, I promise you that holding onto past failed relationships isn't something that makes you better people. Typically, these types of things have a bit of exaggeration to them on the accuser's part. I can't say for certain that any of these things are lies, as I'm not involved with Goob personally. However, even if every fact in this document is 100% true with no exaggeration and everything is in full context, this account is still worse than useless. It's detrimental. If this person truly is 100% ableist, racist, and pedophilic, how will this help them improve? How will it help the people that they've hurt? How will it prevent people from being hurt in the future? To me, these things feel like some twisted form of catharsis for you. Making sure that no one ever befriends them again because they made a few too many mistakes that you deemed too big is cruel. It's honestly baffling! You lot don't seem to realize that people can change for the better or form meaningful relationships that will help them improve. You are inhibiting their growth by isolating them in this way. If you want the world to be a better place, you need to start by showing others kindness, rather than lashing out at people you dislike by "calling them out" so people stay safe from another human person with no honest intent to hurt anyone. Your entire point is based in the idea that someone (Goob) should be punished (through social isolation) for making mistakes. It's grossly reminiscent of the idea behind prisons. I urge you to reconsider leaving this blog up, and move on with your lives. After all, you did say you were adults. It'd be nice if you acted like them.

Do you think they're going to respond?

From what we've seen so far, no. I think they're going to last until maybe the start of next year before they start posting publicly again under the assumption everything has blown over. Or perhaps they have a sideblog they've been posting on that we just don't know about.

All that matters right now is that they aren't exposing others to their content and behavior (as far as we know). When they do, we'll spread the word again. It can't happen again.

If anyone is curious, but doesn't want to look: Goob has not posted any comic updates or posted on their main blog at all since the doc came out, but has been regularly reblogging stuff on their side/reblog blog. I'm not in their discord server, so I don't have any info regarding it. At this point, I severely doubt Goob is going to do anything regarding the call out - disappointing, but unsurprising. Mods, thank you for letting us know about all of this.

Of course. From what we've heard, the Kill Count server is also dead, and Goob hasn't messaged there for a while.

Goob has multiple issues surrounding racism, ableism, misconduct with minors, animal abuse, gore, and is an extremely manipulative individual.

They are currently active in the webcomic, HLVRAI, and Warrior Cats communities. They've previously been active in the FNAF and ATLA fandoms. (thus why those fandoms have been tagged)

This document was compiled by four individuals and contains screenshots exposing Goob's behavior to warn others of their online presence. We are thankful for everyone who reads & interacts with this PSA.

 Do NOT go out of your way to doxx, harass, or raid their servers. Do not send hate anons, death threats, or try to hack their accounts. You will not gain anything by doing so. We do not encourage this kind of behavior in the slightest and find it despicable.

EDIT: Clearing up any misconceptions

None of this PSA was written in bad faith. The authors believe that with time and effort, Goob could change.

99% of these screenshots were public information from public servers or servers with members that wished to step forward about their experiences. The few messages taken from DMs were properly censored and all context provided.

Screenshots were not taken out of context. Any single message screenshot is a one-off message or had no relevant context. The reason why this document is so long is because of the context added.

It does not matter that Goob was 17 in a small percentage of these screenshots. These are repeated issues to them being 21 (and some situations still are extremely inappropriate if Goob was 17 anyway.)

Finally: No, this could not of been handled "privately". Attempts have been made and failed. Goob is stubborn and uses DMs to attempt control over the situation. They do not admit wrong doings.

We aren't, not exactly. We're just acknowledging that as far as we're aware, they haven't done anything in response. We haven't been alerted of anything.

Some asks seem to be giving you some new information, are you going to add it to the doc or no? From what I've seen it seems important to add, but I understand if you all don't want to add it /genuine

There have been times we've gotten asks that the person has requested to not have their information shared or have no clear source. We want 100%, total consent before adding any personal statements to the document & also require in-context, clean screenshots (censored is fine, but they can't be roughly cut nor clearly edited) to be included.

I genuinely thought that the 911 AU was an AU based on the TV show since there were 6 other AUs based on other media like Pokemon and Warrior Cats. The fact that it turned out to be about a cop (who was shown to be a bigot in the comic) getting custody of a transgender child does not sit right with me

Yep! It was called that because, from what I recall, "Jack didn't know that you could call the police with 911, so in this AU he learns it from the TV and uses it to alert the police." which is an interesting choice for an AU certainly!

Was your doc taken down?

It was reported to Google under "Harassment/Bullying" so sharing was turned off. I've attempted to dispute it & have downloaded the PSA as a separate file that will be hosted elsewhere in the meanwhile.
