There are two things to add to this post:

On AO3 at least there are roughly 100 or so fics that are hidden behind the needing an account option due to all the AI scalpers so maybe your favorite fic might not be deleted but needs an account to read?

Second people have deleted their fics as either it didn't do well because they set their expectations too high and didn't network around or because of that one THSC harasser that drove several popular and awesome people away from the community.

For future sake I do note that AO3 has an anonymous and disown feature for fics so if you don't want to associate with a writing anymore then you can just remove yourself as author but leave the fic for the fans that still want to enjoy it.

Burt being AroAce coded is fine but specifically calling out one of the very few lesbian sapphic ships is scummy.

You could have at least said Rosemin or Rosevin as a ship for your example anon but instead you decided to take the obvious lesbianphobic route.

Also AroAce people can still be in relationships especially with a magical thing called Queer Platonic Partners/Relationship.

I am reminded of the big name creators that started that shit from t455audra to fuchsiablur and browa, from having Toppat Henry kidnap Charles to 'show him how cool the Toppats are and how much he loved him' to the outright yandere and abusive versions of the two that people somehow found hot and wanted to copy instead of using critical thinking and coming up with their own ideas.

There are ways to show Henry showing Charles that the Government is corrupt ( that does NOT need Galeforce being a perverted creep for the love of all that is holy stop pulling a CursedIlliterate and doing this ) or even Charles showing Henry that there is still good in him.

But Stockholm Syndrome and Yandere relationship tropes are sadly popular and pulls numbers.

We can only hope people learn from the past and do NOT repeat these things.

( Also can the fandom stop making Terrence Suave into an abusive rapist there is nothing in canon that says he was anything more then a bad impulsive leader )

Dear Henry Stickmin Fandom...

When I said I like Toppat Henry X Charles, I meant that I like it as a doomed/forbidden love thing, NOT VICTIM X ABUSER

This is not a recent thing (I'm in the fandom since 2020), but DAMN, it reaches the point that scares me 😭 (It's even worse every time I see Henry X Toppat Charles, oh god.)

What scares me even more is people doing it EVEN with regular Charles X Henry. I MEAN I KNOW EVERY FANDOM WILL SUFFER THIS BUT MAAAN I JUST WANNA ENJOY ANGST/FLUFF/HURT COMFORT OF MY FAVORITE SHIPS, NOT THIS 💔

The thing is that you are excluding so many different ships the fandom has, especially famous sapphic ships such as Carol X Earrings and Amelia X Victoria and Ellie X Dr. V.

People won't be confused if you just make a universal THSC Ship Week and infact would encourage more people to join in since they wouldn't be stuck with only a handful of good ships in a pile of bland het ships to choose from and everyone would have one tag to use and find each other with.

Silly question but why not just make one giant THSC ship week with multiple prompts for each day?

Well, i decided to make it separately for each ship so people won't be confused. Also, i decided to make it once a year and a week about it in August. Since the game came in August and i don't want to do a whole month about ships since it would make people burn out and out of ideas. That's why we have stickmas and sticktober
