So I’m having another go at this dress of Alicent, as I wasn’t entirely happy with the first go round, and I stand by what I said originally about it. The fabric is pretty and the dress having two matching accessories gives it a sense of luxury, though I much prefer the cape, partly because it covers those weird split sleeves, which in general are pretty but they feel out of place here and I don’t like the fabric, and I also still don’t much like the belt they gave her here, though I do like the belts in general. And I do like how this dress ties back to the one we were introduced to Alicent in in S1 E1. And as always Olivia Cooke is amazing. They also need to actually give the royal family crowns or tiaras and the like, I mean. Honestly it annoys me.

And I’m back onto descendants, and have decided that the atrocity they put Audrey in needed fixing so here we are. Because frankly the costumes for the Auradon kids, especially in the first film, were beyond awful. I mean Sarah Jeffery is a gorgeous woman and they out her in a multitude of costumes that varied from questionable to ridiculous to hideous.

so, I wasn’t entirely happy with the first redesign, and I wanted to give Aemma Arryn a dress that was primarily blue. And u stand by what I said originally about that travesty of a dress being ugly ill-fitting and frumpy and that Aemma deserves far more screen time because, again, Sian Brooke is amazing. So here’s another redesign.

The flames consume bodies—or do the bodies fuel the flames? The UNRWA clinic massacre in Jabalia just happened, taking the lives of 19 people, including 9 innocent children. As a mother in Gaza, I live in constant fear, with no safe place to turn. My baby, Qais, was injured in this cruel war, and I have no money to afford his treatment. Please, I beg you to help us. Your donation could save his life.
This tragedy reflects the terrifying reality in Gaza:
1. Children Are the Victims – 9 of the 19 people killed were children, caught in a place meant for healing.
2. Nowhere Is Safe – Even clinics and shelters are targets, leaving families with no refuge.
3. Urgent Medical Needs – Injured civilians like my son are left untreated due to the collapse of the healthcare system.
How many more must die before the world acts? I ask you from the bottom of my heart: help me save my son. Qais is still so small, still learning to speak, and he deserves a chance to grow, to heal, to live. Without support, I fear I will lose him. Please donate—your kindness can be the difference between life and death.

Gaza Does Not Die… But We Are Bleeding ✊
✅ Verified by @gazavetters {520} ✅✅
Shared by @90-ghost
I am Musab Ahmed. I once had a home, I once had a life… but now, everything I knew is nothing but rubble. My house was completely destroyed by the relentless bombing that took away even our memories.
Tumblr media
My body did not escape this war—I was injured in my shoulder, underwent surgery, but I still need another operation to regain my full mobility. Yet, the greatest pain is not mine… it’s the pain of my daughter Lama, whose little hand could not withstand the bombing. She was injured and had to have a metal plate implanted in her hand, and we are still struggling to get her the treatment she needs.
Tumblr media
All we ask for is a chance to live… A life that was stolen from us under the bombs and destruction. We need your support to continue our treatment and to try and rebuild what’s left of us.
Help us stay strong—Gaza is bleeding.

🌍✨ A Voice from Gaza: Fighting for Hope ❤️‍🩹
Hi, my name is Mosab , and I’m from Gaza. Life here has been harder than I could ever imagine, but today I’m sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.
This journey hasn’t been easy. The war has taken 25 family members from us—25 beautiful souls we loved deeply. Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Our Journey So Far
When I first reached out, I couldn’t have imagined we’d make it this far. Your support has been a light in these difficult times, and we are so deeply grateful for every single contribution.
But the road ahead is still challenging. Every day, we’re reminded of how much we’ve lost and how much we still need to rebuild.
Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:
🏠 Safety: The uncertainty of tomorrow weighs heavily on us.
😢 Loss: The absence of the 25 family members we’ve lost is a pain we carry every moment.
💔 Dreams on Hold: The future feels so far away when survival takes all our strength.
How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:
$5 may seem small, but for us, it’s a little relief, a moment of comfort, and a reminder that kindness still exists. ❤️
Can’t donate? Reblog this post to help us reach someone who can. Every share matters more than you know.
✅️ Vetted by @gazavetters ( #309 ) ✅️
Why Your Support Matters Your kindness isn’t just about helping us meet our goal—it’s about reminding us that we’re not alone in this fight. It’s about hope. It’s about survival. And it’s about giving my family a chance to rebuild our lives, even in the face of unimaginable loss.
Thank you for helping us get this far. Your generosity and compassion have already brought us closer to a better tomorrow, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful.
With all my love and gratitude,
Mosab and Family ❤️

Ooooooh would you ever consider doing Rhaenyra's black dress moment from the books? In the show they made it seem like 'The whites and The Greens'. Like where exactly are the blacks?
Or the white betrothal dress in the show? It looked very cheap and tacky. And look anything but the crown Princess' betrothal dress. And since it's the betrothal dress would you consider doing a wedding dress too?
Or book Rhaenyra dresses, blacks and reds and pinks and maroons and purples?
I really hope I don't come out rude or demanding. Have a good day.
Tumblr media
So I had a go at drawing the dress Rhaenyra wore in the books to the tourney celebrating Viserys and Alicent’s 5 year wedding anniversary partially because of this ask and partially because I just wanted to. In the book it says she wore a dramatic Targaryen red and black dress so I really went heavy with that. And I also wanted to put the crown princess in an actual crown, because they really fell short with that in the show.

so I’ve decided to redo this dress of Rhaena because I wasn’t entirely happy with the original redesign to begin with and as times gone on I’ve just hated it more and more. This time I’ve taken the original (awful) dress more into consideration and I’ve decided to link the dress back to young Laena again, but this time the dress she wore to Rhaenyra and Laenor’s wedding. And again. I stand by needing a pink baby dragon in my life. I really want morning to make an appearance in the show.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ok I have now completely given up on not changing too much for now, because what is this dress they put Rhaena in. What’s worse, is that as far as I can tell, this is the only dress they put Rhaena in in season 1, now I’m hoping I’m wrong because this dress is awful. It’s plain and boring and what is that god awful trim around the neckline. And the wig they put Phoebe Campbell in for season 1 is somehow worse. Anyway, I tried to give the dress some similarities to the dress I drew for young Laena, hence the sleeves. I also wanted to put her in mornings colours, god I hope we get morning in the show, I feel like I need a pink baby dragon in my life.

Ok, while I know this dress is the one she wore to her mother’s funeral, it is still unusually plain. Especially because there are several other funerals in the show where everyone, Rhaenyra included, wear much nicer clothes. I like the sleeves, and I don’t hate the neckline. But the weird belt this bugs me. It’s also the only black dress that’s actually a dress they put young Rhaenyra in, the dragon riding gear is black and the coat dress thing she wears at the hunt is too but neither of them are court dresses really. This bugs me because not only did the show runners give the iconic dress moment that was originally rhaenyra’s to Alicent, they also barely put her in black and got rid of her fashion sense.

And back onto young Rhaenyra, and while I do actually mostly like this dress, one of the grand total of three of the dresses they put Milly Alcock in that I like, I have some mild criticisms. I don’t particularly like the gold wrist cuffs and the hints of it at the shoulders, especially the fact that they are under the sleeves. It just looks a tad odd. It also looks as if the band at the shoulders go around the entire neckline, under the dress, which makes it look strangely bulky and to me makes the neckline look slightly out of place. I actually like the belt for this dress, though I didn’t at first, but it grew on me, however as usual I hate the necklace. I do really like how, while similar, the fabric of the dress and the sleeves are different, which adds subtle detail to the dress. I also just like how the sleeves are open.

And on to the other of the 2 dresses they put Helaena into for season 1. Again, I don’t hate it but I don’t like it. It looks like a background dress more than anything. I don’t like the colour particularly and the fit could be better but there are worse dresses in the show. But at least they didn’t include tulle or organza. I’ll be entirely honest and say it looks more like one of the nightgowns Alicent or Rhaenyra wore than it does an actual dress. It does however look relatively comfy.

And on to the wonderful Helaena, who while I don’t hate either of the dresses they put her in for season 1, I don’t like them either, they don’t fit the best and they look much more like the costumes background characters and extras would be out in than one of the main characters. I like the colour of this dress, and I actually do like the fabric for once, however I don’t particularly like the sleeves, I know what they were going for, but it wasn’t executed very well. I think the neckline could work quite well on a different dress and I like the inclusion of a belt. I also just love Helaena and I love how Phia Saban plays her, she is a truly amazing actress.

And now into the dress they put Olivia Cooke in that I genuinely hate the most, the only nice thing I can say about it is the fabric is pretty, everything else about it is awful. The shoulders look strange, it mimics the dress Rhaenyra wears at the family dinner and when Vaemond dies, but it is clearly a very poor imitation. Again with the fucking sheer fabrics. It looks like the prom dresses you get if shein and wish that look nothing like the photo and only cost a tenner. It has a weird double princess seam thing going on and I hate it. The embroidered lace appliqué that starts on the bodice and creates the neckline looks like it was cut out from an embroidered fabric that is mostly sheer organza and then sewn on top of the already questionable dress. And on top of all that, the dress doesn’t even fit her properly. I do however like this belt, mostly, I like how the centre of it at least looks to be a butterfly, which if it is, is sweet because it links her to Helaena. I also just really like that bts photo of Olivia Cooke and Rhys Ifans, so enjoy.

And I’ve finally gotten round to Alicent as an adult and the wonderful Olivia Cooke. This dress is… ok. I have mixed feelings. I like the fabric, it’s pretty, the chiffon sheer split part of the sleeve is odd in the context of the show. It feels too modern, mostly due to the fabric. I like the darker green over layer in theory, but in practise something feels a bit off, but I think it’s the fabric of it. The cape thing made of the same fabric as the dress is actually pretty and I like it, it makes the dress look better overall, probably because it obscures the sleeves. I also think the belt they used for this dress was the worst of all the belts they give Alicent, though I generally really like their addition this time of just falls slightly flat. However, overall, I think this dress is a decent dress for adult Alicent to be introduced with, though it’s not the first one we see her in. It follows the green dress at the wedding pretty well, and the various options of wearing it give it a sense of luxury which shows how she’s now comfortable in her role as queen, while still showing how she has many conflicting feelings and emotions in regards to her family and how at that point she had very much iced Rhaenyra out. Also, while I generally dislike the sleeves, I do really like how they mirror the first dress we see Alicent wear in the show, the pale blue one we see Emily Carey wear in episode one. I like how it shows her evolution while still referencing who she used to be.

So I’ve had a go at making this dress of young Alicent at least slightly more cohesive to the rest of the fashion in the show, because omg this dress came out of nowhere style wise. I mean, the tight sheer fabric with strategically placed cut outs to make it decent. It just doesn’t fit at all and I hate it.

so, I do actually quite like this dress, though I know it’s a dress that people tend to either love or hate, and I admit that the fabric panels with the holes is a tad odd. The hair also helps this outfit quite a bit.

im making this post to draw attention to the fundraiser of @wafaaresh6. this campaign has been vetted by 90-ghost here. wafaa is also the sister of @mohiy-gaza who also has been verified and confirmed that this is her account.
wafaa graduated from university and wanted to travel, work and have a chance to do many things, but the war has devastated her plans. her families house was destroyed and they've been displaced more than 10 times since then. they have no access to food, clean water or medicine and diseases are widespread. wafaa's mother suffers from hypertension, but they cant find any medication and is her condition is getting worse. the IDF has severely restricted the amount of aid that reaches gaza, and continue to send displaced people on what are essentially death marches by shrinking and changing the "safe zones".
it is hard to state how many peoples dreams, ambitions, and lives have been destroyed or cut short in just a matter of seconds. its unconscionable that anyone should have to suffer this way. to anyone reading this– especially those reading this in the comfort of their homes, in cities that are still standing– put yourself in the shoes of people who have lost everything and consider how important and life changing these donation campaigns could be.
whatever you think you would be doing during the holocaust is what you are doing right now. i think constantly about all of the refugees whos lives were saved- against all odds- through the help of many people, often anonymous strangers. this is really important and peoples lives are at risk. so please– consider gravity of this situation and help support wafaa and her family. every donation helps
