The movie just started to go under production. Dimitri isn’t played with a guy with long hair. That makes me mad. The easiest way to fuck up a character is screw up its appearance. Dimitri is known for his long hair, as it is describe in a lot of ways portraying different things. Unless he wears a wig, I’ll be disappointed. I didn’t see the Rose character but if she isn’t sexy, tan, or outright drop dead gorgeous- you’ve got the wrong actor. Rose needs to be unique. You just can’t screw up the two main characters or your movie is screwed.

Other than that, I’m excited the movie is being filmed in the UK and some of the places that have been chosen to be filmed at are exotic. Some of the castles are outstanding and fit the academy look.

I can’t wait for the movie to come out next year (2.14.14)

Ps- I hope they don’t leave out Stan. I love stan (guardian alto) :)

  I cant believe more people haven’t commented on DKs apparent problem with a receding hairline. So far I’ve only seen one or two people comment on it. How has no one else noticed this? That is so not the hairline of a Russian God.

They have WHITEWASHED Rose by casting Zoey D. Instead of the drop dead gorgeous, sexy, curvy, mature (aka looks older than her age) exotic desert princess that was described in the books, they’ve given us a plain, anorexic looking white girl who looks like she’s barely fourteen years old. Racism and bad casting is alive and well in Hollywood, this just proves it.

Rose: I picked Sara from Victoria’s Secret Pink because she looked exotic and a bit older than 18. Also to be a VS or Pink girl you have to meet certain requirements (bust size and to not be anorexic. They all work out much like a Dhampir would to get their bodies. Sorry to who ever did this confession if you don’t like the Rose I picked.

Looking at Danila K, I am horrified that he has been cast as Dimitri. That is NOT the face or body of a Russian god.
