13 - What gets them flustered

Being called his name in any scenario gets him incredibly flustered, both in a good and a bad way depending on the situation. He’s okay with having his name said around him (He’s trained for at least a year to be okay with that, letting his name be said around him in the safety of his various apartments so that he doesn’t flinch when he hears the whispers coming from the gossiping public), but say his name to his face while knowing that it is in fact his name and he loses quite a bit of composure. He has to give you permission to use his name first if it’s a friend-to-friend or lover situation.

What it takes to make them cry

Losing his sense of touch. I like to think that Revenant’s code or some module in him allows for a sense of touch so that Hammond could better keep the charade of him still being human up. Once Revenant figured out that he was in fact a robot, he took solace in the fact that, hey, at least I can feel the cool metal of this gun or the blood of my enemies trickling through my cool knife fingers.

He gets damaged in a game some day and right as the words ‘Oh, I can fix that!’ are about to pass Wattson’s lips, he just loses it. He can’t feel, the grass beneath him doesn’t tickle his legs, the gun in his hand is just a weight, the warmth of his silence die is just... gone. It was the last piece of himself he had left and it just turned off like someone flicked a switch. It would devastate him and send him into a full-blown crying panic, to the point where they have to shut him down so Wattson can fix him.

He would never, ever admit that it happened later once it’s all said and done and nobody presses him to.
