The girl with dreams amidst War ⁉️

Hello I’m Ansam Al-Qahoji , from Palestine - Gaza 🇵🇸

In a land torn apart by war, I lived a life most could never imagine. I was just a girl when it all started, and my family and I were forced to leave our home not once, but many times. Each time we left, we hoped it would be the last. Our home, the place we once felt safe, became a distant memory as we moved from one place to another, seeking refuge.

We ended up in a camp, surrounded by others who had also lost everything. The tents became our new shelter, fragile against the elements and the horrors that lurked beyond. There were nights when the sky rumbled, not with storms, but with the sound of bombs falling in the distance. We held onto each other, knowing that any moment could be our last.

Death seemed to follow us, like a shadow we could never escape. We saw it in the faces of those who didn’t make it, in the ruins of towns we passed through, and in the haunting silence after an attack. Yet, somehow, we survived. Perhaps it was luck, perhaps it was something greater.

Through it all, one thing kept us going—our dreams. We spoke often about what life would be like after the war, after the violence stopped. My family and I had goals, hopes for a better future.

The war isn’t over yet, but I hold on to those dreams like a lifeline. No matter how many times we’re displaced, no matter how many times death comes near, I refuse to let go of hope. One day, the war will end, and when it does, I’ll be ready to chase those dreams and build the life we’ve always imagined.
