Lazlo is pretty happy about the change. All rooms now have a screen (which maybe one day I'll be bothered to create a custom TV channel for) and a light on either side of the door. The tv's are from Veranka's Bayside Kitchen collection The lights are the KS InWallLight-System by klarsicht42 at MTS

By the way, if anyone knows of any recolours for these lights, or any similar lights, I would love to know! Specifically in green, yellow and red.

I've been watching Cassandra on Netflix and decided to give the Curious house an upgrade.

I don’t have this neighbourhood anymore, I just wanted to share these pictures before I delete them. I plan on playing the Sims 2 more this year and want to post more pictures! My resolution is to stop being a lurker haha

I haven’t posted in awhile but I felt the need to do some public shaming of this townie/thief, Crystal Creelman. She stole my sims’ food from the food judging table before the judge could see it, causing my sim to lose.

Hi everyone!

I made some family trees for my prehistoric neighbourhood, and I love them so I wanted to share them! I just took the pictures from SimPE and I don’t think they show the Sims uniqueness very well. For example Addision and Hayden look like the same Sim, but in game I can see that their profiles are very different. I made them all in BodyShop using the random slider method.

I’m only adding Sims to the tree once they reach adulthood, because life is very hard. I had 30 children born but only 12 grew to adulthood. And spoilers, Wind died before having children and Audrey is gay, so they will not be on the next tree I make (which will probably be in like a year because I’m such a slow player lol)

If anyone’s wondering why Barbara is darker than her parents, it’s just the genetic skins I’m using. I may tweak the values at some point, but I’m ok with it for now. She’s the same shade Kit but has red as the base tone of the skin.

My Sims also don’t recognize half-siblings on their father’s side (because they don’t know who their fathers are), so Gen 3 may be a little messy lol.

I’m playing my game for the first time in months and this picture pretty much sums up my entire prehistoric neighbourhood.

Life is super hard, they are constantly on the brink of starvation and showers/toilets have not been invented yet.

They did this autonomously by the way. I’ve never seen a Sim comfort her child out of her own free will before. It was really sweet, but it is definitely an indicator of how horrible their lives are.

I feel terrible, but this is why I love this game :)

And the winner is...

No one! And both!

So, at the beginning of the challenge I had said that Arabella was going to be added to my neighbourhood-in-progress Hazelnut Isle, and I didn’t want her to be alone, so the winner would be put in the ‘hood with her.

Throughout the whole challenge I had serious doubts about what would happen to the winning bachelor. Would they truly find love in each other or would he merely be a permanent source of food for her? I was actually up late one night thinking about it because I really wanted to get into Arabella’s head and find out what she wants.

So I’ve decided to put all of them into Hazelnut Isle.

Arabella is in love with both Jack and Chandler and has an almost 100/100 relationship with both of them, it’s too close to tell if she likes one better than the other. I don’t think either one of them is her soul mate. In this testing ‘hood she’s pregnant with Jack’s child and Chandler is alien pregnant but neither baby will be moving with them.

I will make another post about them when the time comes for me to finally start playing Hazelnut Isle! Right now I’m still making Sims and thinking up stories for them, plus thinking of rules for the ‘hood.

I hope no one is disappointed with this decision! I had so much fun playing this challenge and I feel like I really got to know these Sims and their unique personalities!

So you will be seeing Arabella, Chandler and Jack again, hopefully soon!

Oh ok, he was just dropping off a bouquet of roses at the back door. He looks like he has fond memories of the date he was just on a few hours ago.

I had them just sit and chat with one another. Chandler is so outgoing that he totally dominated the conversation! He would not stop talking, and Arabella was giving him her full attention. And then Jack left?! Maybe he was fed up with competing for her?

After the last date I had them sit at the kitchen table for Arabella to announce the winner.

Chandler and Jack are eyeing each other warily, and playing footsies under the table...? Maybe they are itching to kick each other or something.

Then they get really comfortable!

I was surprised that she got pregnant because I had thought that vampires in ts2 couldn’t? But I guess it’s just been awhile since I’ve played with them.

In any case, they had a dream date and Jack gets a cleaning skill point.

Then they get more comfortable on the couch, where Arabella falls in love with Jack.

The date commences with the usual gossip, backrubs and hugs, which causes Jack to realize he is in love with Arabella.

When they got back home I sent Chandler down to the basement so he wouldn’t be in the way of Arabella and Jack’s date. I thought a date in the library/living room would be a more appropriate setting for them.

She looks a little nervous waiting for Jack to come into the room, but fortunately he says yes :)

Just some extra pictures of the carnival. Arabella loves doing vampire things and former bachelor Edward gets splashed by a townie teen.

All in all, Arabella and Chandler had a “great” date. They stopped rolling wants for each other before it became a dream date. I think that Chandler is more romantically inclined to her than Arabella is to him, based on their wants for this date. I thought that going to the carnival would be a good outing for them since Chandler is a lot of fun to be around.

I have made some very basic recolours of Echo’s spooky cart and I wanted to test it out. The mesh is a little strange, with her dress going through it, but the colour is much better now.

She looked scared at the top of the hill but at the bottom realized it wasn’t so bad.

This is probably the smallest roller coaster in sim history. It takes up about half of a 1x1 lot. If anyone is interested in the recolours let me know and I will share them! I’m not done yet though, I’ll probably change the stripes.
