The Day I Quit Facebook

I’ve had enough with all the oversharing - I note the weirdness of saying that since I am sharing this with the crazy void of the internet right now - but today, at work, it dawned on me. WHAT DA FUCK am I doing, I’m just wasting my life... clicking through memes, watching stupid videos that may make me laugh, but do not actually enrich me in any way shape or form.

Today, I am making a change: No more time on facebook. I spent last night social media and internet free and found myself doing all sorts of awesome things that made me feel good about myself: knitting, reading, working out, drafting a personal statement for grad school, cooking a tasty dinner. I liked this change. I hope this new habit sticks around.

Just call me the ANTI SOCIAL NETWORKER.
