The tumblr user clearly means actions and not ideology. Just because they said it was sysmeds who traumatized them does not mean they were traumatized purely because the people were sysmeds. Also, "understands the complexity of human brains," but is unwilling to consider alternate causes of plurality or systemhood. One outcome resulting from one cause doesn't sound very complex to me.

We were put on r/systemcringe a while ago for having dsmp introjects (We were super into dsmp in 2020 + were stuck indoors with our abuser so like ofc we were gonna split? plus we tend to split introjects more often than not)

Like I said before, introjection isn't even a system-specific thing. Anyone can internalize traits. I don't see how it's ever a reason to fakeclaim people.

I think it fortunately may have been a once-off. It is still against the rules to say dissociative disorders don't exist. Additionally, I cannot find the post I saw earlier of the individual claiming DID was not diagnosable or verifiable exist (forget the exact wording) so I think it has been removed.

Your disorder doesn't affect you the exact same every day, there's often days that are better or worse than others for any number of reasons. SOMETIMES YOU SUFFER WORSE SYMPTOMS. I don't see why an alter couldn't possibly have worse symptoms than other, especially when trauma, stress and things of the like can have a direct impact on how bad your symptoms are.

Yelliwin didn't get top 1% commenter by thinking before they speak. I have hardly anything to say about the post in particular; mostly the same old, "this is a disgusting thing to post about somebody you don't even know. There is no indication in this video that this individual is faking."

OOP didn't even say this was difficult, let alone that it was the most difficult thing about their disorder. This is an incorrect, unfounded, frankly embarassing attempt at a read.

Do you know anybody with DID? A better question, do you know ALL people with DID? Most, even? Perhaps you work with DID patients. Maybe something closely related, like other CDDs.

People need to believe in the experiences of people with DID. For people with DID to get the necessary help, people need to believe they have it and not feel comfortable assuming more credibility to their armchair undiagnoses than the word of the person afflicted. And it is not DID "fakers" who have created that issue, but the communities like systemscringe who normalize speaking of subjects they know truly nothing about out of hate or misinformation.

Firstly, dissociation is escapism. A system indulging in escapism is. the most systemy activity a system could do. Secondly, introjection is just internalization of traits. Everyone can and does introject. Large amount of introjects is in no way a good way to tell if someone's faking.

"kin system?" A system that kins? Sounds like their issue is with kinning more than anything else. It just looks like another way to maks fun of systems they aren't even considering fake. Making fun of people with disorders! Yaaaay!

A large portion of the SystemsCringe posters are also systems; it's a classic case of the oppressed putting members of their community down for the validation of their oppressors.

Also: SimplyPlural requires users to be friends to see each other's members. Meaning they interacted with whoever they posted. Meaning it broke their, "no touching the cringe" rule. I'm unsure if the SystemsCringe mods will actually do anything in the case of a report, but perhaps it's worth a shot anyhow.

And as far as what I've seen, SystemsCringe will fakeclaim and/or make fun of any systems. I know it's tough ignoring this BS, but these people don't know you nor are they doctors. Try not to let it affect you. 🫶

Traits of disorders / having symptoms are not exclusive to people with the disorder / diagnosed with the disorder. It's when multiple symptoms impair life and co occur with other symptoms that it becomes a disorder.

(This is why schizophrenia, DID and such have notes that a diagnosis should only be given if the symptoms don't occur out of religious or cultural norms. They're still the symptoms, it just isn't a disorder.)

I think people are allowed to have issues with a website page that has either harassed them, their friends and acquaintances, or might do so in the future.

yes, sure, both r/FDC and r/syscringe require usernames to be censored, but :

posters on both subreddits are basically laughing at the face of disabled and neurodivergent people, AKA blatant ableism and sanism.

I have multiple times managed to find the people who were posted there despite the names being censored. if me, someone who's average and doesn't know how to witch-hunt, can do that, imagine those who are "pros" of witch-hunting.

All of this to say, if you condone or participate in these two subreddits, you do not respect people. And if you do not respect people, do not expect people to respect you. treat others how you want to be treated.
