The story post was supposed to go along with the original commissioned post, but I didn’t feel like spending my Sunday writing up a tumblr post when I instead spent it with my wife on a dinner-and-a-movie day out. Imagine that, life over tumblr!

As for arijandro, of course the story post didn’t mention them. It had nothing to do with them, nor with the fact that they didn’t pay attention to the fact that the post was reblogged from easilyirritated’s reblog of it.

Also, great reading comprehension, bro. :) Nothing was ever said about easilyirritated being the one offended by the image set.

Also, what harassment? It’s not like any of us are going on that dude’s page and saying “yo, you’re a f****t” or anything. At most it’s ripping on arijandro for conveniently ignoring who the image was reblogged from and assuming it was an attack on him. You special snowflakes will call anything harassment these days, bro.

So it seems we've already taken off pretty nicely, and are getting the kind of response we both expectedand anticipated! Even including somebody trying to go all "everyone block and report this page becaues I'm butthurt!" on us. Fun stuff. I guess actually reading posts and tags is too hard for some tumblrites.

Anyway, the extra story on the commissioned post that's got everyone but the actual "target" of the commissioned post up in a tizzy, as the reblog format makes story/explanation bits like this look awkward when combined with the main post. It's delayed by a bit because sleep, work, and family is more important than a little tumblr-based fun.

So this guy - I'm going to call him Commissioner Fatass because apparently he and his character (heh, furries) are enormous (edit: he's one of those types that's really into fat for god knows what reason, so this probably isn't offensive to him; not that we'd care anyway)- who's clearly screwed up because his typing was all sorts of shaky (plus he confided in me) had a falling out with this easilyirritated guy over something utterly fucking retarded. The way he described it, it's like dumpster diving or picking up a junked computer on the curb, except with something left in a public laundromat instead of a trash can.

Apparently Commissioner Fatass trusted this guy and the two other friends to tell them about this because they were internet friends or something, and it caused an absolute shitstorm. Commissioner Fatass wouldn't tell me what exactly it was that caused it, but alluded that it was some broken piece of shit.

Long story short, Commissioner Fatass lost three friends because this easilyirritated guy threw a fit about nothing and his buddies went along with the flow. Commissioner Fatass was then stuck in a rut of depression and anxiety that he hasn't left since. Understandable, considering he told me he was already pretty screwed up and losing his last friends to something so retarded as a bit of dumpster diving was just another thing to try to deal with.

Commissioner Fatass went on to tell me this easilyirritated fellow suffered from the same things, but would use them to justify himself being an asshole. He went on to show me a few particular posts easilyirritated posted right after one of these shitstorms. For example, there's this that popped up right after this latest shitstorm (original post seems to have been deleted), highlighting a part that basically just pointed the finger at depression as to why easilyirritated ended a friendship and alienated Commissioner Fatass over nothing.

Of course, there's also the thing where this appeared right after some earlier shitstorm over....an opinion expressed about low polygon models. So yeah, this easilyirritated fellow sounded like an asshole. Checking out the rest of the blog, this seems to hold up, at least when he isn't reblogging some pokemon fanart or spamming photosets of those 5 frame gifs you tumblrites love so badly.

(ed. left this part out because I derped) Commissioner Fatass was apparently wanting to try to bring things back to normalcy, try to reconcile, something like that. Then he saw that photoset. I can't say if he was right or just being a narcissist, but he thought it had to do with him, and that just tore him down more.

So I felt for the guy. We discussed setting up having the antimoronleague's first tumblr post be his commission (because "request" sounds lame), I gave him a link to the suicide hotline numbers, and thus the first post was born. And then people got angry because lol, internet.

More stuff to come (non-commissioned, no less!) soon! Assuming the whiny censorbots and their hugboxes don't get their way first, at least.

Obligatory introduction post

So, there are stupid people, then there are stupid people on the internet. While we can't all slap some sense into these people in the real world, we can give them a good laughing at online. That's what this group is about.

Formed originally in 1995, we are a small group of buddies who used to do this thing on a couple IRC channels back in our middle, junior, and high school days. We had a few followers back in the day. Not many, but enough to keep it fun.

Now, with some inspiration from a reddit subreddit, a few of us have decided to open up shop in a more public forum doing a better-grammar version of what we did as kids. How will we fare in a time where people get offended if you look at them with the "wrong" facial expression? Who knows!

Our first entry, which will be coming up not long after this one, is one of our "commissioned" topics, requested by a guy who I had a short PM discussion with from that very same subreddit.
